Geez Louise the eats here are really good! In a super comfort food way! The garlic wings combo includes your choice of stir-fried rice or fries, and a side of slaw. For garlic fiend's like me, they won't be garlicky enough. However, they are damn good regardless. Crispy, tender chewy goodness. The stir fried rice comes with soy sauce packets as it's not salty at all, for those low salt folks, which is fine by me to add my preference. The surprise hit is the 1-ingredient cabbage slaw. It's marinated in a slightly unique vinegary something that just works and found me wanting more!! So go with a bit of patience on the ordering process, etc. and you'll be happy you did. read more

Best wings best fried rice! Wings are tasty and are crispy and the garlic adds added flavor. The rice is so good has everything fried rice should be. These are the places that are worth finding and supporting. Chin and his wife kill is and the shrimp in the butter garlic broth is great. Added tip add that to the rice it's a 10!!!! read more

This was our third shot at trying to find a good crab place. The first two were closed. When we got to this place, it was steady ordering and pick up service. It's only take out. No crab. We ordered the shrimp with garlic potatoes and sausage and house fried rice. The former was delicious; the latter only so so. However, if you put the broth from the shrimp onto the rice-totally different story. It was good, but I'm sure there's better. I'll keep looking. read more

Everything was extremely exceptional. We ordered: Chicken fried rice: Really tasty minus the chicken. The chicken was not "real" after picking it out the the rice stood alone well. Boiled blue crab: so flavorful to say the very least, will definitely be back for more. Sausage corn and potatoes: THE potatoes were really good. The sausage and corn were good but I've had better Last but not least The garlic Chicken::: THE BEST OUT OF IT ALL! Will definitely be back for more. The owner is an older Asian fellow who is very kind and cares about his customers. I doubt you'll leave disappointed after tasting the food here! WTH.. ordered shrimp with potatoes and sausage . Since this is a staple on their menu I figured it would be good. It wasn't fresh. The potatoes were reheated there was no seasoning on them whatsoever. So right before they put it in the go container they dumped salt, butter and hot seasoning on it.Tried to let it soak before I ate it , no luck The sausage was horribly salty. The only three flavors I could taste were heat , salt and reheated potatoes. Couldn't eat it. I will not be back. read more

This is an interesting place in the most nondescript setting and neighborhood. It's just a counter serve and there is no seating except a few picnic tables here and there. But do yourself a favor and have your food to go, trust me you do not want to sit there and eat lol. The food, however, is amazing! There is just one guy running the place so be patient. Best is to call and place your order beforehand so it's ready by the time you're there. The garlic wings are the best! Probably the best wings in the area. The seafood, crab and shrimp are also good. I got the garlic wings, garlic shrimp and chicken fried rice and it was amazing. There was a smoky flavor to the rice which was really good. I just recently downloaded the yelp app and realize that the Crab House on 9th Street south and 9th Avenue South doesn't have any reviews I find that ironic because this is the best Crab House in Saint Petersburg Florida now let me get into detail. Mr Chan's, have the best garlic wings available in the city now going into the crabs the fried crab are the best there to die for literally die licious. Mr Chan has perfected the sauce game his garlic sauce is immaculate his shrimps and fried rice is beyond all Chinese restaurants in the vicinity better yet the entire city I mean everything is to die for die licious. Recently we decided we were going to try there crabs I have had there snow and blue and they are amazing. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I WILL ORDER FRIED CRABS BUT TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK BECAUSE YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF CRAVING THEM. Shrimp is great too. Its take out only: no eat in setting but im ok with that! Great prices, yummmy food. Love the delicious, fresh crabs, shrimp fried rice, garlic fries and especially the crispy garlic chicken wings. Those are finger-lickin' goooooooood. Literally. They're even better than the places in Cali and NYC and you know those states have exceptional food. If you're nearby, you're beyond lucky to have this place so close to home, so come on by. We travel across country from Cali to New York and from New York to Florida eating all sorts of food. We only recommend the best. Little hole-in-the-wall restaurant owned by a very friendly restaurateur who once lived in Montreal, Quebec (and who speaks French). We had a most generous helping of chicken wings, moist, meaty, crispy... a meal in itself. We also had the crab, king this time since blue crab was not available. Served with potatoes and sausage in a rich broth, they turned out to be stellar. Would have given it 5 stars ... but the sitting arrangement (it is mostly a take-out joint) is very sparse, a few tables scattered in the parking lot. The food is outstanding though and anybody willing to walk a bit off the beaten track will be greatly rewarded. read more
