They responded with a marketing email address to contact. Marketing took zero accountability and provided no recourse. Several staff at our hotel said Crabby's is known for food poisoning. I would never eat there again and I warn anyone who is considering eating there it is not worth the risk. There are so many choices in the area, don't risk what happened to my husband and others for a piece of seafood you can get somewhere else. read more

My husband and I sat outside at the bar- it felt really good out and they have lots of fans to keep it cool. Leslie was our bartender (I remembered her from previous visits) and she's great!! She's so nice, very knowledgeable and helpful- just so friendly, & she makes a mean Skinny Margarita!! Our bang bang shrimp was really good- not too spicy with good flavor. My husband's fried oysters were delicious- it was a special & Leslie recommended them- she was right- very tasty!! My crab legs were really good as well- lots of flavor- I got them steamed with butter and garlic. Crabby's has many seating options- outside tables under umbrellas, the outside bar, and then 2-3 levels inside with tables. It's next door to the marina that's takes guests out for tours in the ocean on lots of different kinds of boats , and it's near the Clearwater pier- lots going on. read more

I was vacationing in Clearwater, FL and stopped by this gem on my last day and it was by far my favorite restaurant during my visit. This restaurant is three levels. We had the pleasure of being on the first floor and we had an amazing server who went above and beyond for us (I hate that I didn't get her name). I ordered the Jamaican Lobster Tail, crab cake, mashed potatoes, and house salad. Everything was phenomenal!!! The house salad was surprisingly delicious. The mango vinaigrette dressing added a nice touch to it. We also ordered the spinach dip and that was great!!! The seafood served was very fresh and tasted good. The mussels and clams were very juicy, and the sauce helped elevate the flavours well. The onion ring portion size was large, and it tasted good too! The crab cakes are a must get, with the crab taste filling every corner of your mouth with every bite. All had sauces that really helped bring out the fresh seafood flavour of the dishes. The lobster was a little disappointing though, as it was clearly overcooked and a bit chewy (hence the 4 stars). Even the shrimp that was served with it was miles more tender and tasty. The drinks served were very well made, though, especially the strawberry daiquiri! The restaurant has only outdoor seating, but is shaded well and airflow ensures that it doesn't get too hot. It also has a great view of the ocean! read more

Nice place, but to nickel and dime customers that are paying a premium for great seafood $1 dollar for a condiment size drawn butter is unbelievable! Very bad business practice... suggest tossing that awful stuff that does come with the platter for the drawn butter. All this policy does is hurt the server because the customer is pissed about the paying the dollar, it's going to come off their gratuity. Rethink this nonsense and get rid of it... we will be back when you do! We really enjoyed our meals, from the Cajun pasta, to the scallops and the friend chicken, everything was delicious. I couldn't believe how good the chicken was at a seafood restaurant. As a non seafood eater with a group of seafood lovers, I was pleasantly surprised how good my meal was! We even caught a beautiful sunset while eating. Definitely make a reservation, the line of people waiting was so long! Only negative (and not a huge deal) was that our salads came out about 3 minutes before our meals, but they were jammed so timing was probably just off! read more

Wow! This was an awesome experience. What do you do with the fresh fish you just caught? Take them to Crabby's Dockside and they will cook them for you. How cool is that? We were in town for a family reunion so taking them home was not an option. This was perfect. For $10.99 /person they cooked it and gave us fries and cold slaw. All very yummy! We had ours grilled-- fried and blackened were also options. After 4 hours on the water we were hungry so we started with the stuffed mushrooms and a frozen cold beverage. Both hit the spot. The fish was grilled perfectly-- I just squeezed some lemon on top and it was yummy. Customer service was great! They are use to people getting off the boat with fresh fish. They know you are tired and hungry. So the food came fast. I would like to go and just try their fish next time. read more

We stopped by after watching the sunset at Jimmy's Crows Nest at the nearby hotel. Jelly who was from NY did a fabulous job as a server! Great energy, nice personality, did a nice job explaining the menu and had amazing customer service skills! We entered off the side near the marina and inside was a bar and a hostess stand. Not sure if that's the main entrance. We received a piece of paper the hostess printed out and we were to walk up to the second floor. There is an elevator available. We stood there and waited for someone to greet us and give us a table. Seemed a bit confusing for them and us. Large open restaurant with lots of tables. It was somewhat crowded. What was odd at around 9pm the lights went up. We weren't sure if that was a signal to finish up as it was closing time? The lights went off for a brief second or two and then came back on rather night. We were almost done with our meal so we made sure to get our check. I had the crab stuffed flounder that came with a Caesar salad. Very good. My bf fried shrimp and fries. He enjoyed it. The shrimp weren't heavily battered. It was a nice meal but had a franchise feel if that makes sense? Definitely not fine dining if you are looking for that. This is a good place for families. They offer the biggest lobster tail in town. A man at a table next to us ordered it and it did look pretty big! If you do eat here, make sure you ask for Jelly as your server! read more

We chose this place originally for the excellent sunset views and TVs so we could watch the BB game. Excellent location, and service and great food and drinks! We started with the Crab and spinach dip appetizer which was really good. I ordered the Fish and chips and thought they were ok. They definitely needed tartar sauce to give more flavor. My husband ordered the Hogfish snapper and said it was not amazing, but ok. I also ordered a side of Hush puppies and really liked them. They come with honey, which was a new twist for me. Really good! Top shelf strawberry margaritas are super good and we had a few Draft beers while we ate and watched the game. Live music is offered on the main floor of the restaurant. My husband and I came here on the last day of our vacation and what a treat it was! First, the food is delicious, fresh oysters and chicken tenders prepared perfectly...and the drinks...AMAZING! Our servers/host were Leslie and Jeremy and they could not have been better! They were polite, professional and overall made our experience here top level. They were both so personable and knowledgeable about the menu - even sharing their knowledge about the area which was so helpful to first time visitors like us. It is so refreshing to meet people who are so kind and helpful. Whether you are an out of towner like us or a local, the staff and menu are amazing and we will be coming back for our next visit and speak highly of this restaurant's food and customer service to our friends and family that visit Florida often. This is a place you can never go wrong!! I absolutely love coming here whenever I'm in Clearwater. My personal favorite thing to get is the boom boom shrimp. They just get the flavor so perfect. It's literally the best boom boom shrimp ever. My pasta was amazing. I love Cajun and they had just the right amount of it. I normally try to sit on the third floor because the view you get is so beautiful. I definitely recommend going during the sunset to get the most spectacular views. Made reservations in advance and indicated that it was my wife's birthday and i requested a table with a view of the water. We arrived early (three of us) and referred to the reservation and the request. The server took us upstairs and started to seat us at a table in the middle of the restaurant while tables overlooking the water were available. i reiterated that it was my wife's birthday and requested a table change before we were seated and was told that those were for larger groups. (several were empty, one had one person and two were seated with a couple and a party of three while we were eating) Appetizers were good, of the meals my mahi mahi was the best of the three and was a 7 of 10. so, overall, the food was decent but a little pricey for the quality. Good food at this outlet of Crabby Bill's adjacent to the Clearwater Marina. Located across the parking lot from the marina, this is a 3 story restaurant right in the middle of tourist-central Clearwater Beach. First level is outdoor seating at a bar and umbrella-shaded tables. 2nd story is indoors, behind panoramic glass and air-conditioned. 3rd story is a covered rooftop with open air sides. There was a nice breeze on this day so opted for floor 3. It's still hot seating but tolerable with the fans and the breeze. The view is gorgeous on the rooftop looking out over the beach on one side and the marina on the other. Service is quick, friendly and efficient. Time from order to service about 10 minutes, not bad when there are ravenous kids in tow. Bonus - there are a few pigeons that have figured out that there are scraps to be had, and they fly in to rummage for crumbs. Keeps the kids entertained. It's the usual Crabby Bill's menu - heavy on seafood. Opted, as usual when stone crabs are not in season, for a grouper sandwich. It's a big filet, moist and juicy and scrumptiously blackened. Served on a bun with a slice of tomato, onion and lettuce with a side of tartar sauce. Arguably the best and certainly the freshest grouper sandwich on the beach. Also tried bang bang shrimp tacos. 3 tacos to the serving, the shrimp are tangy with just enough heat. These are OK but nothing special. I had the fish & chips the batter was panko and lightly fried and the inside was white cod that melted in your mouth. The fries were hot and perfect.
