Saw a group of students ahead of me and luckily they ordered and the service was quite fast so might as well line up to get a platter before going back to work. So after a few minutes of preparing the students' orders, it was my turn and I just had 15 minutes left to take the train back so I was like shit! Luckily the guy who owns the truck made my food fast and for $10, I got myself a nice chicken cutlet platter. As I was omy way back, I saw a B health letter grade and I'm like OMG and pray that the food was fresh! When I got back to work, I quickly opened my platter and the chicken katsu was laden with so much sauce! The chicken tasted like ginger for some reason, not sure if it's the sauce or not. Did not really like the taste it left in my mouth. There was not much cabbage and the platter was mostly rice and chicken. Even though it tasted like ginger, the chicken was cooked evenly making it crispy and tender. They are also very generous and filled the platter to the rim! Overall, I like how filling it is but it's just the hint of ginger taste in the sauce that is not a right mix to this platter.
