Great location, decent parking options. Benches to wait before being seated. I recommend getting on the waitlist before showing up. The vibe of the restaurant is A+ very Instagramable. Our server Bryce was very attentive but not pushy as some servers don't give you much time between receiving food and checking on you. The food, baby the FOOD!!!! Everything we ordered was fantastic. Well seasoned, cooked well. The Banana Fosters was surprisingly still crispy even with having a scoop of ice cream on top. This place is a MUST for you to try. Only 1 thing that I wasn't a fan of. Kelsey - not sure on the spelling. She was RUDE for zero reason, our server was busy but we needed small plates for the monkey bread (no picture because we started eating it immediately - DELICIOUS!!) I asked her and she barely turned her head to recognize I spoke to her, she replied with a quick yes and an annoyed look like I asked her to borrow money. Just nasty for no reason. Anywhoo - GO!! Go and GO! You won't regret it.

Decided to have a little bridal sprinkle here for my sister's wedding. This place was very cute in the inside. The staff were really friendly. Loved Joel he was entertaining. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. We had the duck bacon, so good and flavorful. I had the chicken and waffles. It was really good. I also had some of my sister's seafood omelette. And I appreciated that real crabmeat was used and plentiful. Also the sauce on top was delicious. I will definitely be back .

The local is nice. I loved the disco ball and the yellow accents. Nice ambiance inside withe cute photo ops areas. The food is averaga. I had the farmers platter and asked for the eggs scramble with cheese. The hasbrowns could have been more crispy. The duck bacon was ok. I'm just a lover for pork bacon. The service was a little lacking. Our server, Missy was cordial but so busy she was not able to check on us. Every time we needed something we had to chaser. At the end we asked for water and she never made it. I hope they get more servers to avoid this.

We were nicely greeted at the door and able to be seated quickly which was a bonus, as it was fairly busy. Server Missy was prompt, cheerful and provided top service. Among us, we had the Acadian Assets, and the Brisket Hash dishes, with a shared side of duck bacon. The Assets dish came out luke warm, and Missy made it right. The Hash dishes were worthy, however a bit scant on the brisket (I was expecting a hearty brisket layer). Overall a good choice for our work group as we were famished from a morning appointment.

Stopped in here before the Femme Fatale parade. Everything was great. Our server was nice and attentive. I got the strawberry lemon drop. What a great cocktail. I got sugar around the rim, but if you skip it, it won't take away from the drink. The chicken benny was good. I got a side of hash browns, but the portion of the chicken benny was so good that I didn't really need the additional food. My mom got the lemon ricotta pancakes and really liked them. We got here pretty early, so it wasn't busy, but if you want to go later than about 10 I would recommend adding yourself to the waitlist before you arrive. I'll definitely be back!

Decided to go here for my aunt's bridal brunch. I've heard of it before and thought it'd be somewhere nice to go. I made reservations online Thursday night for Saturday afternoon. I received text reminders about our reservation and we received a text saying our table was ready 5 mins before our reservation which was nice. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly host and he showed us to our seats. The decor is really cute and the music they played was nice. Our table ordered a few different things. We ordered the bacon tower, grits, brisket hash skillets, seafood omelets, and one chicken and waffle plate. Cocktails ordered were the slow down relax and the lemon berry vodka slush. For some reason the slush wasn't on the menu, but I saw the machines behind the counter and asked our waiter about it. I think if it was listed on the menu, or even on a little card on each table(like people have to display happy hour menus) more people would order it. My aunt was surprised when I received it and was like I didn't see that on the menu, I probably would've ordered one. It tasted pretty good to me, but was kind of on the higher side as it was $17 and the cup was small in my opinion. The brisket hash skillet was okay, but I felt like it was dry. The brisket wasn't juicy but pretty crispy. It needed a salsa or some kind of sauce to go on it. I asked my waiter and he said they didn't have any salsa or sauce for it, but that there was some kind of crawfish sauce I could get. I ordered that and it helped the skillet. However it was $5 and the sauce cup was really small. My aunt enjoyed her chicken and waffles and my other aunts enjoyed the omelets. Bacon was nice and crispy but did have a little kick/spice as it had red pepper flakes on it. My aunt said grits were okay but got stiff pretty quick. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and our waiter Bryce , along with the host (I can't remember his name), was really nice. I'd go again but would probably get a different entree.

My Husband and I came here for Breakfast on Monday Morning. The crowd was nice. A few Graduations Guest . My Husband and I talked to one Graduate and told her when she in college . Stay focus , you can do it .Host was kind. Our Server Miyah was very knowledgeable and great. The food was very succulent.

Thoroughly enjoyed my leisurely breakfast at Crack'd. I found it while looking for a spot during a weekend trip to New Orleans. Some restaurants can be a bit weird about solo diners, but the staff here was great about my table of one! I started with the crab cake appetizer, which comes with two good-size cakes. For my main, I got the farmers platter. They serve merguez (lamb) sausage and duck bacon, which is delicious, but if lamb and duck aren't your thing - be warned! Since I was using rideshare that weekend, I'm not sure about parking, but I did not see a parking lot. Most of the neighborhood is street parking.

The location and presentation were both aesthetically pleasing, but I would not recommend eating here for the food. I will say that the monkey bread and latte was yummy. But, I was so excited to order the bacon tower and it was cold. We saw that the table next to us had theirs torched, so this could have been an oversight but it was nevertheless unenjoyable to eat. I was also disappointed in the croissant royale -- the cheese was not melted on the sandwich and the side of arugula was wilted.

This was my second experience dining at Crack'D, and it was disappointing. We were seated 35 minutes after our reservation time. We had to keep returning to the hostess stand to ask if our table was ready, what's the point of using OpenTable for a reservation if the automated notification feature isn't utilized? Once we were seated, we were quickly greeted by our server Kelsey, and our drinks and starters of monkey bread and crab rangoon, both were served hot and delicious arrived promptly. The service took a downturn when Kelsey, legit disappeared on us. It took 40 minutes to place our order, then another hour and half wait for our food, while dirty plates and empty glasses piled up on the table. When the food finally arrived, it was luke warm and not fresh, except for one friend's dish, which was hot. Our table ordered a seafood omelette, two steak and eggs( one returned back to the kitchen as the steak burnt), a chicken sandwich, and the chicken and waffles. With "large party" gratuity included (when did a party of five qualify as a large group?), our waitress had little motivation to offer better service, even with our almost $300 bill and a $42 tip that felt undeserved.

Great menu with a good variety they serve brunch until 2:30pm and close at 3pm sat. Brie helped find some great brunch choices. I ordered the farmers platter, 3 over easy eggs,hash browns & toast with 2 lamb sausage and a piece of duck bacon. This is what I recommend if you can't decide. A little bit of everything with sweet thin coating on duck bacon, and savory lamb sausage and eggs My Wife got specialty mushroom omelette and said is fresh and tasty. Our server Brie sad bedtime is before 10am for brunch on Sunday We were sat right away at 2:15pm we just beat the 2:30 pm guideline to order your food before they close kitchen at 3pm. My 3 over easy eggs were could just right still runny and soft. I prefer has browns cooked more but it didn't detract from flavor. Next time I will ask for crispy hash browns. Great decor, a large variety of beverages including tea,coffee, cocktails and mocktails. Great name l, great service and really good food. Thanks for letting get crack'd in NOLA

We had a WONDERFUL experience. The food was excellent, The duck bacon...mmm mmm mmm! Mimosas anyone?! Yes please! Missy was excellent, very helpful, very experienced and patient. We had a party of 8 and was from both Ohio and Michigan We were there to celebrate my birthday. The experience was so positive that we went back(not a good visit). BUT I will still visit again when I go back.

Terrible service -- I won't be back. Our reservation was for 2:15, and we arrived a bit early. We walked in and were not greeted by the host--I had to initiate the conversation myself. Once we were finally seated, our waitress discouraged us from ordering bottomless mimosas and instead suggested we just buy a bottle. We ordered the bottle along with pancakes and the crab Rangoon, which we assumed would be served as a starter. When the waitress returned to take our entrée order, we weren't quite ready. But when we were ready, we had to flag her down to get her attention. By then, it was about 2:49. She said she'd be right with us--only to return with our checks instead. We told her we wanted to order another bottle, but she said they were about to close. At that point, we didn't even bother asking to place our entrée order. We were essentially rushed out 10 minutes before 3:00. If Crack'D can't accommodate guests properly after 2:15, they shouldn't allow reservations at that time. The crab Rangoon was honestly the only good part of the experience--it's just a shame I didn't get to try anything else. read more

I've had Crack'd bookmarked for a while. I was excited to visit after reading all the reviews. My first visit here didn't live up to the hype. To start, the off street parking is not easy during a busy day and good luck trying to find a close spot. If you are local, I suggest using Uber. The duck bacon tower had a good presentation, but the taste was just okay. The chicken and waffles came out cold. The bacon and waffles seemed like they had the same spicy maple syrup on it. It took a while for us to get our sever to bring our check. With all the options in this area, I am not sure I would dine here again. read more

Incredible ambiance and even better breakfast. As a classic breakfast lover, Crack'D was one of the few places in Nola that served a classic breakfast with some cultural twists. We started off with Just Bring Us the Basket and their muffins are made in house and leaves you thinking about them days later. For entrees we got chicken and waffles and the farmers platter. Wanted to do a birthday brunch on my birthday that happened to fall on Monday so I was nervous about choosing somewhere that was dead, not vibrant and kind of boring for a Monday morning. I've been saying to myself I wanted to come here and I figured this would be the best place to take the chance on. I was very pleasantly surprised and happy that I chose this place on my birthday! It was packed on a Monday morning, they have so many specialty dishes and such great decor and vibrancy that you would've felt like it was a Saturday morning there. They also have bottomless mimosas and the seafood omelette was amazing and it comes with arugula salad on the side. The duck bacon is such a presentation and so special that the party that was sitting next to us saw our order and they ended up ordering it after us lol I will definitely come back here and bring people that are visiting that are looking for a bottomless mimosa brunch! I used to work as a server, so I understand how important proper seating flow is during a busy brunch rush. When I visited recently, I noticed the hostess was seating too many tables at once without considering the servers' workload. The servers themselves were doing a great job and were very friendly, but it was obvious they were overwhelmed trying to manage multiple new tables back-to-back. The issue wasn't the service -- it was the lack of organization at the front. A better seating system would make a huge difference for both the staff and the customer experience. read more

Bri was hands down the best waitress I've ever had--super attentive, sweet, and made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. The food overall was solid. I really liked the crab ragoons--they used a different cheese than the usual cream cheese, and it actually worked perfectly. The pistachio drink, while really pretty with a tasty rim, was way too strong and honestly just tasted like straight liquor. On the other hand, the strawberry lemon drops were to die for--refreshing, flavorful, and dangerously good. I would've kept ordering them if they weren't alcoholic! The banana foster had good flavor but was a little overcooked--hard to cut into and definitely more nuts than bananas. The ice cream on top started off too cold but eventually balanced things out. Overall, good food, amazing service, and a couple of standout drinks. I'd definitely come back, especially for those lemon drops and to be seated with Bri again! read more

Appt time - 12:30, 8 ppl When we got there we were greeted by the staff and told them our reservation time and they quickly got some tables together for our party. Our waitress was phenomenal, she was very helpful and very timely. She helped accommodate us when we had an extra person show up last minute. We ordered the bread basket for the table and the selection was amazing, it came with muffins, croissants and an assortment of other breads. We all had different items on the menu that we all enjoyed. Our only issue was the water we kept getting had particles floating around. After 2 new waters we felt bad for wanting to ask for another so we just let it go. The ambiance was very vibrant, bright yellow and black all over, it wasn't too loud inside. I would give another go and try something else. read more

Came here for the first time for my birthday brunch it was really nice. I put myself on the waiting list and the time was very accurate about at 40 min wait so we had to time to get ready at the hotel and by the time we showed up to the restaurant we were immediately seated. The server was really nice and speedy it was really crowded but everything came out at a reasonable time. All the food was also pretty good and good portions. The crab Rangoons was the star of the show. Highly recommend. They have a nice selection of drinks and mocktails as well. They have a lot of unique options. The space is pretty small and can get very packed so I recommend making reservations! But overall great brunch spot in the magazine area! read more

It was a journey getting here but I'm so glad we made it. If you're thinking of visiting on a Sunday, plan far ahead! We were left with a very early reservation not realizing that the trolley ride from the quarter would be almost 30 min plus a few mins walking with two small children. Needless to say we missed our reservation time so we were limited to less than an hour to dine. Luckily we came in knowing what we wanted and took little to no time to order. Food came out quick with the exception of my husband's steak&eggs that I didn't get to picture but it was worth the wait! He ordered it medium-well and the manager came to us to explain that he didn't like the cook on the first try and had them start over. That was very much appreciated! The Duck bacon show was a great treat and tasted incredible! We need that on the east coast. My Smoked Salmon Benedict was delicious! Once I remembered that smoked salmon is served cool, it was much more enjoyable lol. The only thing I wished was that they would've played the party music for the early morning crowd. We visited Crack'd for the first time on 12/3. This place was wonderful. The interior design had wonderful detail. The chairs were so comfortable. Our service was efficient and friendly. The menu had so many options it was hard to choose. Loved the Candied Duck Bacon and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Will be back next year. read more

Cute space. Loud but brightly decorated. We arrived earlier than our reservation, and the kind host got seating for the two of us immediately. What an inviting gesture! We put our drink and food orders in and waited. My sparking mocktail came to me at room temp. Disappointing. So, unfortunately was my companion's champagne. Garden Salad was loaded with arugula and a few skinned grape tomatoes. Champagne vinaigrette was meager seemed too, to not to have been mixed. Too much oil; very little flavor. I asked for more, hoping the second would be better. Glad I didn't hold my breath; no one ever returned til after plates had been cleared. A curious occurrence: a random server at the bar pouring a glass of bubbly she'd taken from... elsewhere, right BACK INTO THE CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE. Needless to say, I did not drink any more from my bubbly again. Two single stall restrooms. The one I used was low lit, quite small, but very clean. Locking the door may have been difficult for some because later, when my companion opened the UNOCCUPIED sign door someone was standing in front of the toilet, in action. All said, the misses outweighed the hits during our meal experience. read more

Loved the cute little spot on the corner giving fancy bodega vibes. Very coast like deco vibes. To the meat and potatoes, so the staff was amazing, kind, and attentive. The food was properly seasoned I didn't need to add any alternative ingredients. This definitely has my attention for a keep it in the bag of brunch tricks. This spot is definitely a repeat visit in the future. Parking can be pretty tight so if you're going on the weekend, be prepared to maybe park a block away and walk over. I am so happy I found this place!! I took myself here for my Birthday and it was everything!! I had ordered the Crack'd Royale- Poached eggs, toasted croissant, avocado, smoked salmon and lemon hollandaise. Also got the shredded hash browns, I love shredded hash! Everything was perfect, the poached eggs were perfectly poached, the sauce was divine, the avocado was beautiful, smoked salmon delicious!! My drink of choice was a Cold Brew Martini- -espresso, house vodka, cold brew coffee, bailey's Irish cream. The atmosphere was great, the music was on point, the servers were kind. Great brunch spot! Food and service and ambiance are on point. I popped in here with a friend one Sunday. It was very busy which is a good sign for me. We sat at the bar as it came up first available. We didn't really order any appetizers unfortunately because I wanted to try the duck bacon tower. I ordered the shakshuka and my friend had the farmers breakfast. My food was delicious. The shakshuka was perfectly seasoned and the eggs were perfectly cooked in the sauce. Her breakfast looked delicious and what I tasted was delicious. I tried a bit of her duck bacon and it was phenomenal. I definitely want to go back and try other items. I called ahead to see if they were able to accommodate a table of 9 last minute and we got there any waited maybe less than 10 minutes to be sat which was great for a Sunday morning. Our table ordered coffees and teas and started off with bacon tower/basket of bread. We wanted monkey bread but they ran out before we tried to order. This place aesthetic alone has this place at a 5 star. The decor made it perfect for a girls day brunch. Our server was top notch and well adverse in the menu which I absolutely loved. Brunch is amazing here and we had a very different experience. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Banana French Toast and Acadian Assets. The sides are good too, but I did add salt and pepper to my grits and potatoes. Staff here is extremely friendly, and Melissa made some great recommendations for us. she is such a sweetheart. We were a party of six with a reservation and were seated quickly, which was great. Our server, Amaya, seemed a bit disengaged from the start -- she never smiled or seemed very welcoming. I noticed other servers interacting warmly with their tables, but our experience felt a bit flat in comparison. Drinks and food took longer than expected, and we didn't get any updates along the way. When our appetizer came out, we were given just a small spoonful of butter for the whole table, and after asking for more butter and jelly, only two butters were brought. Food was ok. None of us were blown away by what we ordered. Amaya didn't refill drinks unless we asked, and when our main dishes arrived, some items were missing. She removed them from the check when we pointed it out but never apologized. I totally understand it was a busy time, but overall the service just felt off and not in line with the friendly vibe your restaurant seems to have. read more

Another fun little brunch place in New Orleans just off of Magazine St. The decor of this place is so unique and customized to the theme of the restaurant (Crack'D). It was so much just to step in and just see all of these different touches that went into the design. The restaurant was super busy and did require a reservation. Upon arrival, my friend and I got seated at a booth on the side. Water was served in a glass carafe and coffee was served in cute coffee mugs. The menu was extensive and so many choices had to be made. We decided to share three dishes: Mac Daddy Mac & Cheese with smoked brisket on the side, Eggs Sardou Benedict, and a side of Hashbrowns. My friend is a vegetarian so we asked to have the smoked brisket on the side, I actually misread the menu and thought we got the Brussel sprouts and crawfish as well, turns out you get to choose one. Lol. The food choices were on point! The Eggs Sardou with the puff pastry was yum! And the Mac and Cheese was creamy! Really wish we had ordered the fried Brussel sprouts because it would have added an excellent flavor! The hashbrowns were standard and we probably could have done without. Would come back for a combination of the experience and the food. Drinks: I just had coffee and water. There is a selection of bubblies and cocktails that can be ordered. We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. To go with our breakfast, I got a cold brew with a splash of almond milk while my partner embraced NOLA and started his day with a bourbon sour. Both of us enjoyed our choices! Service was friendly and helpful at the counter/bar. The food runner was nice and then another member, assuming the Manager, that stopped by to check on us mid meal. She was super friendly and nice. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and drinks at Luzianne. Minor things noted, mainly on the cook of the eggs, but nothing awful. It his the spot and checked the boxes!

Meanwhile, multiple tables became available that easily could have accommodated us, but the hostess was determined to keep telling us we had to wait. To make matters worse, there was open bench seating in the back where customers ordering to-go could sit. I offered to order food to-go so we could at least sit down and get started while waiting, and she told me if I did that they would remove our name from the waitlist because "you have to pick one or the other." No willingness to problem solve whatsoever. She repeatedly said she was "sorry," but her actions showed the opposite. I was simply trying to work together to find some reasonable solution instead of continuing to watch everyone else get seated while our family, including small children, kept waiting. Absolutely horrible customer service experience.

My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy, and I had the Eggs Cochon. His food was good but mine was by far the best meal we had in New Orleans and we had some amazing food while we were there. My boyfriend isn't really a fan of pork but one bite of my food and he regretted not ordering the same. I'm never able to finish a full meal so he did get to eat what I couldn't. We also tried the bananas foster French toast which was sinfully delicious. All of the food was reasonably priced as well. We will definitely come again and we have highly recommend this place to all of our friends who like to visit New Orleans.

My dirty chair was gross and I didn't finish it. This place only offers pork which is unfortunate.

After hearing about this place, I was really eager to give it a shot. It's safe to say the whole experience was underwhelming and disappointing. I'm open to knowing that I may have caught it on an off day. I'm not sure what is happening with the hostess stand, but they really need to remember they are in the service industry. Maybe she was having a bad day or didn't eat breakfast or something. The attitude wasn't needed. (This seems to be constant in the reviews, just saying) After we were sat, we waited about 15 minutes to be acknowledged, which is a long time considering they only had one other patron in their section. She took the order, including food, dropped off the water and almost cold coffee, and we never saw her again. I had to flag down another waiter to grab the OJ after waiting an additional 10 minutes. By this time 30 additional minutes went past, a table that just sat down 20 minutes ago received their food, and this is when I realized she might have not even placed the order. I stood up, let her know she can cancel the order and left out. The look on her face confirmed what I thought. The place is beautiful, but the experience I received was not. You may get a good experience, you should try it out for yourself. Be sure to tell the hostess not to put you at the high table next to the bar. read more

Looks Can Be Deceiving At first glance, everything looked promising, but looks can be deceiving. The food came out cold and hard, and my knife could barely cut through the waffle. When I sent the chicken back, it returned reheated, with the same piece I'd already bitten still sitting on the plate. My son ordered a medium-well steak and eggs, yet it came out bleeding. To make matters worse, the two orders of duck bacon weren't duckin... they was cold and not hanging or smoking like its usual presentation. Our waitress mentioned she'd remove the drinks from the bill and add 10% off for the inconvenience, but when the check arrived, the drinks were still charged. The food, however, was disappointingly bland. There was no seasoning on any of the dishes, making everything taste flat. The 'bacon' (two non pork options) was especially unappealing--it lacked flavor and had a texture closer to a tortilla chip than anything else.
