    Fried apples in thick grease
    Jennifer G.

Disgusting!!! The health department needs to visit this place. The food is old & dried out. Meatloaf hard, hashbrown casserole they served the hard crap they scraped from the side of the pan instead of cooking more. The apples are swimming in white grease. Mashed potatoes are ok but the gravy tastes burnt. Even the biscuits were hard as a rock. If a food fight breaks out in there, they're in trouble. Those biscuits will easily break windows!! The Bathrooms were gross & out of soap & paper towels!! Cracker Barrel used to be such a great place. We looked forward to the country style food, fresh biscuits, hash brown casserole & fried apples. Not even the staples that made them famous are edible anymore. Staff are rude & lazy. They speak like they were plucked from the back alley & thrown into the dining room without any training. They have no urgency to get you anything at all. They are also attempting to add gratuity to the checks for standard parties. (3 people) Pay attention cause they'll refuse to wait on you then add on a 20% gratuity without a word. I guess they figure they don't have to lift a finger if they can slip a tip on their bill anyways. I caught it, thankfully & made them remove it. They protested & called the manager to remove it. I tried to speak to the manager but she had no interest in what the issue was. All she cared about was getting back to the corner table where she sat stuffing her face. Meanwhile the restaurant is burning all around & management can't be bothered. The only person paying any attention is the lady that stalks you in the country store. She follows you as if you're stealing or hiding something. It's really uncomfortable to shop at all. They won't assist you in finding sizes but they'll quickly complain if you are carrying any of their merchandise in your hands.... Guess you can't touch it to purchase? My granddaughter wanted a stuffed doll & candy. When she handed me the doll, the staff member acted like I was stealing it when all I did was take it from my granddaughter and say thank you. Maybe they should pay more attention to the people in the dining room and less attention to stalking guests in the country store? They must be under new management & the new management is fully intent on destroying a once great staple in America. Just keep driving, there are plenty of local places that actually appreciate your patronage. Cracker Barrel, sadly, I just don't see them lasting much longer. They've taken away everything fun & nostalgic & tried to turn it into a basic poorly run cafeteria with sticky tables, nasty floors & rude staff. Soon they'll either go out of business or turn into another garbage buffet, where people serve themselves from the garbage left under heat lamps all day. I mean, I guess at least you're getting something by serving yourself but God forbid you have to ask for anything. Just AVOID!!! If you dare go in, don't say no one warned you.

Worker at the register had 5 pokemon prismatic boxes . Wouldn't sell me one because she said it's on hold for an employee . Terrible Cracker Barrel scalping the product before customers can even get it

So I'm in town trading on a Music tour & we go to this Cracker Barrel, hmmm The waitress was a lil standoffish from the start. It's ok we all have our off days. We proceed to place our order & I asked for egg whites.ghey no longer serve egg whites, so I ordered country fried steak with a side of hash browns and grits. My grits come Lumpy and uncooked my hash browns were stale and hard to cut. I let our waitress know and she said oh sorry about that and walked away I asked her if she could bring me orange juice and ketchup. As I tried to Bear through eating at least some of the food I could not eat the grits. They were hard they were uncooked as for the hash browns they were stale I proceeded to tell the manager he comes over I tell him what I dealt with he said sorry for your loss and walks away. He did not offer me a discount he did not say anything else but sorry for your loss!!! I've been going to Cracker Barrel for the past 15 years and somehow they keep losing my votes.. I've lost all feelings and all taste for Cracker Barrel no discount was offered for their uncooked food!!!!

We LOOOOOVE Cracker Barrel, and if we have a car (we live in New York City, and don't own one), we'll try to get to one. This one happened to be one of the best we've gone to though! There was virtually no wait on a Saturday late morning. Which of course meant we could get served right away. Does a trip to Cracker Barrel count without biscuits? I think not. Thanks for the hospitality!

The only reason I'm leaving a 4 star is because of Tima!!! She was the best. Old girl who checked us in was terrible. Brought her attitude to work with her. Or... didn't like who she was serving. Rude!!! Anyways, service work Tima was excellent and food was ok. Place was clean . I love the store with all the trinkets'n things .

I don't know about the food yet haven't even wanted to touch that. I gave it 30+ minutes extra I gave my name to pick up my food and that short white old lady with yellow or white hair I can't remember seemed to be a bit racist very definitely Rude and just nasty. Idk she just was so rude and weird I hated her customer service. I know it could be better. The guy next to her was actually really nice and cool the one with the eyepatch the only reason why I even left a tip. Other than that I wouldn't have because of her attitude and whatever her issue is definitely get friendlier and much more respectful people like the nice man. Probably not going to visit again for a while might give it a chance in the future, so far not my favorite. Only might because of the older guy and because I just moved here but I don't need attitude when I walk to pick up my food. Thank you.

    Pot pie
    Rachel E.

Came here with a group. I was surprised there was a long wait at 1:30 on a weekday. Eventually we were able to get a table. We came to get the lunch specials. However I wanted the chicken pot pie and unfortunately it was only available in one size. It didn't come with any sides so I had to order extra stuff. I was hoping to get a side chicken salad but was not able to easily. So I ended up ordering a kids meal of chicken tenders and swapping the fries. The pot pie was just okay. Not a whole lot of chicken and I wish they had a smaller size available. Service was just okay too. Before I went I needed a refill of my tea and it took a while. Biscuits were just okay too. Overall the food was a little underwhelming. We don't come to Cracker Barrel too often though so maybe this is typical.

I'm at the horse table and this is a saddle.

Friendly servers, good food, a relaxed time was had by all. I especially appreciated the lone Memorial Day table setting in honor of those who served. Well done.

It's a Cracker Barrel. Took forever to be seated and utensils were dirty, but food was fine for what it is. Must love canned green beans.

The restaurant is located behind the German club on 66th Street, a second business in the German club parking lot! Apparently, the family that has his place is from Maine and they got a lot of success brewing beer. That's success led them to start the restaurant serving seafood from a family business in Maine. We started off with a bowl of New England clam chowder and a dozen oysters. To what are whistles we got a glass of their tap Chardonnay and a beer. My wife's Chardonnay was ridiculously good! But nothing could beat those oysters - sweet with a little bit of brine, and very fresh. For dinner we got a lobster roll - they come hot or cold, with the hot coming with melted butter. We also got the fried haddock roll.... Wow! Both were fantastic! I know we overdid it with dinner.... We even got an order of the whole belly clams. I didn't think anyone in Florida served those down here! Absolutely ridiculous . In short, we had fantastic dinner and terrific beverages. I really recommend you at least try to find the place - we almost didn't go in because of its awkward location and the fact that no cars were outside. We saw the place was open and decided to have a appetizer because the Yelp review was so strong, and I'm glad we did! I was here for a friend's birthday dinner, they aren't very crowded on weekday nights so it's easy to get a large table. I read my last review, which was that I should get a different dressing with the kale salad. We bellied up, ordered 2 brews, an order of mild chicken wings and a medium classic burger, which was just meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. I wanted a different burger, but the prices were crazy high. The basic freaking classic burger was $10.50. After 20 minutes of waiting, we asked where our food was. The bartender went to check on it and returned roughly five minutes later. Unapologetic, he handed us our food. I cut my burger in half, and the damn thing was beyond well done, but since we were in a bit of a rush and hungry, I just ate the thing. First bite was crunchy because the edges of the burger were actually burnt. Nothing made up for the $10.50 price either. It wasn't a particularly large burger, it was dry, there was little-to-no seasoning and the bun was far from fresh. I mean, it's been a really long time since I felt so gypped. I ate half, got the rest to go and we bounced. I would have mentioned the ill-cooked burger had the bartender ever came back around to ask how the food was. Seriously, I wouldn't recommend eating here. There are much better options nearby, like Burger King and Moe's.
