Whats better, is I have recently had to adjust my food choices for medical reasons, and it was great to know there are so many options at this restaurant that I can easily make choices and enjoy those choices without remorse...LOL! I think all Cracker Barrel's are about the same, you got the country store vibe, the shop when you walk in, the antiques on the walls. This one is a bit more bright on the inside, maybe the paint? Love Cracker Barrel! The home style food is right up my alley and the gift shop is so fun and inviting to walk around in. Our server, Joyous, was precious and lived up to her name. This review covers 2 separate visit on consecutive days. The first was a gathering of 10 family members hosted/served by Jonathan. It was wildly successful. Seated immediately, drinks ordered followed quickly not only with food orders but with food served! Great service TODAY. Standard breakfast fare and tasty. The NEXT day, it took 30 minutes to be seated (11 family members). Although drink's were ordered quickly, half were delivered quickly with a significant delay for the remaining drinks. Breakfast orders were taken and 1/2 of the orders were delivered quickly but for some reason the REMAINING 1/2 of the orders TOOK 20 Minutes TO BE SERVED. No reason nor update given. Yes they were busier but they never gave a reason for the delay. Separate ratings would be a 4 for the first day and a 2 for the second. read more

We love a good meal at Cracker Barrel, but this was not. People who came in after us got bread before us and we had to ask for it. Meal was taking longer than expected because of a kitchen backup, which was fine, but they stopped by 5-6 times to apologize, which seemed like overkill. But then the fried chicken had uncooked breading and lots of it (more than the actual chicken). The picture shows only half. We pointed in out to the waitress, who took it, mentioned getting a manager, then disappeared. No manager. Just the trainee dropping our check with nothing else. We asked for a manager's card when we left and they told us they didn't have any and the person walked off. We were totally polite and understanding the entire time until the end. This brand new Cracker Barrel is pretty standard across all Cracker Barrels. You walk in and are immediately greeted with a bunch of knickknacks and holiday specific stuff. They all smell the same too which is kinda nostalgic :0) Regarding the actual restaurant, the service and food were just ok. They were not terribly busy but it seemed to take a long time to get us coffee and even longer to get food. When the order came out for the 4 of us, 2 of the orders were incorrect. They quickly fixed the orders, but it obviously took additional time. As I said, the food was just OK, decent flavor, but nothing to brag about. My in-laws love this place so I'll likely be back, but I wouldn't go on my own. read more

The service was fine, we were greeted upon entering and the food was okay at best. We sit down at a table at the corner of the main walkway and my husband got bumped into a handful of times by servers. Only a couple said sorry, the others looked at us like we were a huge inconvenience by sitting there. Over half of what we wanted was out of stock. The orange juice tasted like water with pulp in it. I ordered over medium eggs with my meal and I received over easy. (I'm 7 months pregnant and I just wanted over medium eggs!!!) I send them back and say they are a bit too runny (the whites were still uncooked), and if I can get my correct eggs. The waitress says "so you want them over medium then?" Well yes..... that is what I ordered. The new eggs come out and they are even more runny than the first batch. I tried to suck it up and eat them but after one bite my baby said absolutely not. A few issues here left a bad taste in our mouth, literally, so we will not be returning to this location. This restaurant was bad from the start! I was literally ran over by an employee leaving from work. I require a cane. Then came the meal. Our server was unfamiliar with their menu, we kept having to correct the order and identify the sides. When the food came, everything was over salted - even eggs. First, we arrive. We enter through a store that seems like it is trying to make us buy stuff. Next, the restaurant feels crowded with all the paintings. We find our seat and the chairs are uncomfortable and wooden. They give you a single game of pegs on the table. The worker I had felt like they did not want to work. When the worker came she said "What would you like to order?" Implying that she wanted us to order our food. So when we tried, she stopped us and said what drinks? And when I was trying to order a soda, they were out of every single diet soda. Took about ten minutes, and she brought the drinks. I just got a water. After about 15 minute's, she came and asked what we want to order. Came back 20 minutes later, biscuits and gravy. Other restaurants we would get our food by now. I don't like gravy so I will not be adding it. I did try the biscuits and it tasted like normal buttered bread. And I like that. About 5 minutes later I get my food. The chairs in the restaurant are the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. They are hard and make you want to leave before you get your food. That was the only change that needed to happen. Our party of 6 came in at around 7:45 on a Thursday night for dinner. We were seated after a few minutes, and our server Shawn promptly came and took our drink order. After a few minutes we placed our food order. It took a bit for the food to come, but when it did, it was hot and fresh. All of our food was correct, and tasted really good. This is a newer location and it is very clean and the staff was very friendly. We had 5 ppl at our table and everything can out quick and correct. I'm excited to return for breakfast sometime soon! This is our second time back to this CB Location. I can say it's also going to be my last to this one. It took 10 minutes to get a server to our table. There was only 4 of us and we placed our order right away. The next thing that came out was a chocolate milk and they didn't bring the other drinks. The food came out 15 minutes later and still no drinks. We asked the server who brought food what was missing. They left and also do not come back. Keep in mind that the initial server hadn't been back. We flagged down a manager and told her what was missing. A third person came back with our missing items. Drinks were never refilled and food was cold by the time all the items arrived. We even had to wait a good 15-20 minutes to get our check. We finally got our check. Oddly enough the first server never came back. When I checked out they asked how my meal was. I told them not what I expected. She called a manager over and the same manager from earlier came to the counter. I told her my story and she was like I hope the server is okay and dismissed my experience. Her name tag said Retail Manager but she should know what good customer experience is and it wasn't given. read more

This meal was actually perfect. I have not always been a CB fan but this meal renewed my faith in them. I had the fried chicken and my husband had the chicken tenders. The food was absolutely horrid, my eggs tasted as if they were sitting in canola oil overnight. The bacon had no flavor and the hollandaise sauce was mid tier. I had the fried chicken with beans (pinto) and cole slaw. Also with biscuits and cornbread. I'll start with the biscuits, IMO the recipe needs to be updated, they always have been mediocre, same with the cornbread. Ordered a thanksgiving meal at this location. They would have left out the pumpkin pie if I had not called their attention to it. I had them go through the order and it seemed everything was there, but when I got home I opened one of the containers and realized they gave me dressing instead of sweet potatoes. I had to use my time and gas (and I don't live close) to go back to the store and exchange the items. They offered to let me keep the dressing, but I didn't need it. Figured they would offer something else in place of for my time and gas. Guess I should have complained to the manager. This is the second year in a row they have fouled up my order. I am a CB fan, but this CB is not ready for prime time!! We each ordered a bowl of pinto beans and one side. Server got our order wrong. After 30 minutes, the side came out, but no pinto beans!! After another 20 minutes, our beans came out, but it was a SIDE of pinto beans, not a bowl of pinto beans. After another 20 minutes, the correct beans came out. After this CB being open for 2-3 weeks, a manager said "they are still learning" in the kitchen. There were several managers standing around, one or more from Florida, and quite a few unhappy customers. The customers beside us had their order lost! This location is brand new near my home so my wife and I gave it a try. Neither of us have been to a Cracker Barrel before but very much enjoyed the quality service, location, and the food is great. Selection is great, too. Regarding location, it's next to a Buc-ee's, Tanger Outlets, and other attractions. Very easy access off and on interstate 35W. I'm sure my wife and I will return with others. There's also a store inside with novelty items, decorations, etc. read more
