Though I've long heard of Cracker Barrel, visiting Vegas was the first time I had the opportunity to visit. It did not disappoint! The restaurant, which in the same shopping center was the Bass Pro Shop, is easy to find and an abundance of parking. Walking in, there is a small retail store outside of the dining area with a variety of food, clothes, decor and more to purchase. Visiting for brunch, there was relatively no wait and we were able to be seated almost immediately. I ordered the Country Boy breakfast which included: eggs, two breakfast sides (I chose fried cinnamon apples + two buttermilk pancakes), biscuits, and a meat (I chose steak tips). Unfortunately, they were out of steak tips, but offered to sub in the New York Strip steak for no extra charge. Overall, the food was rich, flavorful, and well portioned. My favorite were the pancakes, cooked with a light crisp on the outside. They were so good that I stopped to buy the Cracker Barrel pancake mix and blueberry syrup from the Old Country Store before leaving. Highly recommend visiting this location! read more

Over the last few months I have been there 3 times, always saying next time will be better, but it never got better. Visit 1. I ordered the fried catfish. When it came out there was so much oil on the plate and the fish was burned, and they completely forgot the sides on my wife's order. Visit 2. The server took our order without writing anything down and our order was completely off when it came out. I mean things missing or the wrong thing brought out. Visit 3. On 9/8/26 around 8 pm. There were 6 tables occupied. Someone came to take our order out to help the server. It took 25 minutes to get our water, my wife's order was missing a side and waffles. The missing side came at the end and was still cold. We had to take the waffles to go when we got our check they were so late. I don't think we are ever going back read more

Very disappointing experience, especially considering Cracker Barrel's reputation. I'm from the Midwest and have eaten at several locations in the Midwest and South, so I spent about 20 minutes bragging to my friend about how good the food was supposed to be. Unfortunately, this location made me regret it. The grits were lumpy, the ham looked and tasted old, and my meal was supposed to come with two pieces of bacon. Instead, I got what looked like one small piece broken into three pieces and hidden under the ham. When I asked for the other piece, it seemed like they were annoyed that I even brought it up. The only positive was our waiter, who was polite and did a good job. Other than that, the food was far below the standard I've experienced at other Cracker Barrel locations. Came in on a Friday morning and was promptly seated. Service was quick, and my drink order was taken immediately. I asked for a minute since it was my first time and I hadn't had a chance to look at the menu beforehand. I ordered one of the breakfast combos with French toast, and everything was good. I especially liked that the meal wasn't overly heavy or greasy. The French toast was perfectly sweet even without syrup, and nothing needed any extra seasoning. The restaurant has an older country-style theme, with various old relics and decor throughout, which gives it a cozy, nostalgic feel. I'm deducting one star because, although I understand they get busy, the service felt very rushed and they didn't really check back to see if we needed anything. I also asked if they had vanilla creamer and was told they did. However, when it was brought over, it was half-and-half, and I was told that was their creamer. It's been a minute since I've been here but when I had a day off with my husband and he's been dying to go, we decided to hit up this spot. We got suuuuuper lucky and there was no wait for the two of us, however the restaurant was POPPIN and it looked like they had a huge wait. Every table was taken and the staff was hustlin! We started with the beignet bites and they were sooo delightful. I also got a cherry root beer float and it was SOOO good! To eat, I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of eggs and sausage. I will say the sausage patties weren't my fave. They were pretty salty. And the eggs were alright. We came in for a quick lunch. We ordered a pitcher of peach mimosa and it was pretty good. The chicken soup was actually pretty tasty, it just wasn't piping hot. The grilled catfish meal is usually my go to and it doesn't disappoint. It was really good and tasted fresh. Our server Rosenda was very nice and attentive. This was actually my first time at Cracker Barrel, and I have to say the highlight of our visit was our waitress. I unfortunately didn't catch her name, but she was a young African American woman and absolutely wonderful. From the moment she greeted us, she was kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet. She recommended the iced caramel coffee and even made it the way she likes it and wow, it was so good. One of those small touches that really makes a difference and makes you feel taken care of rather than rushed. Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite places to eat. They have items that someone with multiple food allergies can eat. Until today. Today we got a carry out order, mine was a grilled chicken salad with no cheese. Unfortunately there was cheese buried underneath the lettuce. Thank God I don't have an allergy that causes anaphylaxis. Whoever made up the salad apparently realized that it said no cheese, but instead of remaking the hid the evidence. I did a drive up car order and unfortunately once I tapped, I'm here I waited and the order of never came out so I had to physically walk in to retrieve it. I feel like that defeats the purpose for the app pick up to have an option for that if I'm gonna have to go in either way. Once I got in, they were pretty apologetic, but it was still inconvenient on my end as I was hoping it would be grab and go, and I didn't have to leave my car. I went with a cinnamon roll skillet, which came with about six mini rolls. It had the perfect cream cheese frosting and wasn't too sweet. Cracker Barrel is a mixed bag for me. It is always crowded when I go, so they must be doing something right. Perhaps it is just me that just thinks of this place as mid. The line was out the door when we arrived. I expected a 30-40 minute wait, but I guess we lucked out, as a party of two, was only a 10-minute wait. Actual wait time was 5 or 6-minutes. Kudos for being efficient and exceeding expectations for wait times! Wife was craving pancakes and she loves them here, along with their 100% pure syrup. If I had to pick one thing I like here, it is the pancakes. Their syrup is delicious and the label indicates that it contains, 50% of 100% pure maple and 50% of 100% cane sugar. It tastes pure too. The pancakes are nicely made, have a great texture and a little crispiness on the edges. I usually just share a few bites of them with the wife as I am not a huge pancake fan. I had the Old Timer's Breakfast which is two eggs, choice of breakfast meat, biscuits and gravy and a classic side. I decided on eggs over easy, sausage patties, sourdough toast and plain hash browns extra crispy. The eggs were cooked well enough. Unfortunately, the sausages were like two reddish brown hockey pucks. Seriously, they were more jerky than sausage. The hash browns were nice and crisp, but the toast came out totally cold and soggy. A place that prides itself on a country breakfast should be better than this. I would have given two stars, but the service was so good and our server worked so hard...so hence the extra star. read more

It's very spacious, easy parking and easy access. You walk in a store first before you hit the restaurant. Big shout out for the staff here. Went with a group of friends (4) for lunch around 1230. The entrance is classic CB style. Very nicely decorated for the upcoming holidays. We were seated fast. And our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Got our drinks fast. And took a bit to place our order. Food took a bit to come out but everything came out hot and looking great. Never been to Cracker Barrel before but hear a lot about it from my co-worker. Since I stayed at the hotel right next door, I figure to try it out. The restaurant is super cute. It has an old school American theme. You have to go through a gift shop before you see the hostess. The seating is very quick and the staffs are very nice. The menu is pretty extensive so it took us a bit of time to decide on the food. Once ordered, the food took quite a long time to arrive and a couple of orders were incorrect but quickly fixed. These are usually non issues for me but the food is by far the most important for most of my reviews. The best dishes I had were the pan cinnamon rolls. They were super yummy and worth the try. The biscuits were very good too. I think they are freshly baked and soft inside. I think those were the best items. The rest is just very mediocre. The bacon is just bacon so I don't have anything to say about it. The ham and sausage are very subpar (too dry). I think I can buy from the market and cook it better at home which is quite disappointing. The sausages are not links, they are the round sausage patties which I dislike. They reminded me of elementary school food. The pancakes are ok, and the French toast is meh. The best part is probably the tiny syrup containers. After we ate, we waited for the bill. It took quite a bit of time but it was very busy so I totally understand. Once I got the bill, I waited, and waited. Apparently, you have to take the check to the gift shop to pay it there. I was not told this piece of crucial information so I waited forever. I saw the table next to me did exactly the same thing. Only until the manager stopped by to ask what is wrong, then I found out the check needs to be paid in the gift shop. The gift shop is very cool though. My wife actually found a sales item and purchased it. She was very happy with her purchase. I don't think I'll stop by again though. My first time at a cracker barrel! I've been told a long time ago to try this restaurant. I'm glad I finally came. I'm boring so I tried the old standby of country fried steak, mashed potatoes and fried okra. The food was as all my friends told me, it was great. Another great perk is their take home menu that can be order with your meal in case the meal you just had didn't quite do it, in my case most portions are like appetizers to me so I ordered the meatloaf with mac and cheese to go, it didn't last long once I got back to the hotel, that too was great but still left me with the not enough feeling. I should've ordered more than one of those meals to go. I have two concerns that irritated me, the first being the restaurant staff that seated me. Being they have command of their kingdom in the dining area, they should be cognizant of where they seat their dining clientele. If they know that a dining experience can be compromised by seating a person near a family that clearly has no control of their spawn that has loud uncontrollable outburst, seat your patrons away from the annoyance. The second being how is it socially acceptable that entitled parents allow their spawn to have uncontrollable loud outbursts and think it's acceptable. Clearly these parents either learn to control their spawn's or leave them at home or in the car so we, the dining patrons are not the recipient of such behavior. This type of behavior should not be tolerated because parents think they are entitled to share these behaviors by their spawn's which they clearly do not have control of. Really messes up what should be a enjoyable dining experience to stink eyes cast on the entitled parents that shouldn't have spawns. read more

Prices start at $16.95 -$25 an entree, WOW!! Getting too pricey for me, so you've lost a dinner customer w me & a few others that I know have. Brought our waters & asked if we were ready to order & said no we need a few minutes, & then she disappeared on us. She never looked our way to flag her down , so we sat there just waiting for her to acknowledge us again. She takes our order & then lost her again. 35-40 min have gone by & wondering where our food is ? Then manager comes to our table to say they were out of the chicken fingers that comes in the cast iron skillet in a cheese sauce , so now I have to look at the menu again & find something that was reasonable & I said so your out of chicken fingers, so said no, it's the cheese sauce , I said I'm fine w the dish w/o the cheese sauce , so she said ok, great, & then our food came right out & manager delivered our food. Kristal never once came to check on us to see if we needed anything considering she didn't deliver out food, so we had to catch anyone we could to bring us the things we needed! Between the manager & the girl bussing the tables getting us what we needed, i didn't want to leave the tip for our server, bc she just brought our waters & took our order . Then we had to flag someone else down to find our server to bring our check to us! Was very disappointed in the way we got treated by her , but left her a $10 tip anyway. I'm one who really enjoys salt however, if you don't like salt, it would be too salty for you and would probably turn you off. The mashed potato and gravy was so comforting...it reminded me of my dad's. The fried chicken was crispy, crunchy and yummy...especially if you like salt. The green beens reminded me of old school cafeteria food, which wasn't bad at all, still comforting. The biscuits were a little dry and hard. They didn't give us any jelly, only butter. I did enjoy my food, salt and all. The service was good however I feel like they were short staffed. It took a while for refills. But to be fair we went after church at 7:30PM while I believe they close at 9PM. We did receive a gift card for a free appetizer since the wait was so long. The ambiance was as usual. However, on March 7 Restaurant management was lacking. I ordered the Old Timer's Breakfast - Two eggs to order with choice of breakfast meat. Served with biscuits & gravy and one classic side. Selected grits for my side. Was there before noon with family members, we had a lot to talk about on this trip. When the food arrived, was so involved with conversation I didn't notice the biscuits and gravy were missing. Also missing was a spoon to eat the grits. Only knife and fork are provided at the table. Asked server for a spoon, brought to me. Later in the day it hit me, no biscuits and gravy. As I see it. Restaurant management failed to: - ensure cooks prepare all the items for each menu selection. - ensure servers check the meal to ensure it is prepared correctly, all items are there. - a spoon is provided with the grits. Like, bread at the star of a meal, the devil is in the details. The started off with a great cup of coffee. And yes, restaurants can easily screw this up. I ordered the Country Boy breakfast that comes with three eggs and choice of steak or ham (I opted for ham), biscuits and gravy, and two sides (I chose pancakes and hash brown casserole). Probably a 3,000 calorie meal after my choices. The hash brown casserole is unique and delicious with cheese and onion inside. The biscuits and gravy were outstanding with light and fluffy buttermilk biscuits and a standard country gravy. I'm not sure why people are so harsh about this side dish. It's a very standard southern dish. The pancakes are truly special with a great texture and crispy edges. They are sweet enough without maple syrup too. But I added some anyways. Ham was tough and a touch salty. My server, Alex, was so informative and patient. It being my first visit to Cracker Barrel too. I was seated right away on a Saturday morning and they have ample dining room seating. Their hospitality was truly amazing and my coffee cup was never empty. I visited the country store date breakfast and it's an interesting store with a melange of different clothes, decor, food, and games/toys for kids.
