We came here with our staff for a holiday breakfast and had such a great experience. They saved us a large room so we could all sit together, with different sized tables, which worked out perfectly. The staff were super friendly and accommodating right from the moment we walked in, which I really appreciated. One thing I loved is that we were able to order and pay individually--huge plus when you're dining with a group. I ordered the Country Boy Breakfast with steak tips, 3 eggs cooked any way, 2 sides, and biscuits and gravy. Everything was fabulous, and the portions were huge. I definitely took a lot home! I chose hashbrown casserole for both sides and it did not disappoint. Paying was also really easy with the scan-and-pay option on your phone. On top of that, they're running a special right now where you can buy meals to take home if you order an entrée in the restaurant. I grabbed two meatloaf and mac & cheese meals for my boys, and they were only $6 each--such a great deal. Lastly, I love their little store attached to the restaurant. Holiday items are already 50% off, and they have so many cute things. Overall, this location made our holiday breakfast easy, enjoyable, and delicious. We'll definitely be back! read more

Cracker Barrel is an average restaurant. There is nothing super spectacular about the food. The clientele is mostly seniors who bring their families with or senior couples. There is a great gift store at the front waiting area though and they have such eclectic items. There are a lot of items you actually won't find elsewhere. I came here for breakfast with my mom. She comes here often with friends from her church so she loves it. I had the Momma special breakfast with eggs over easy, sausage patties and french toast. Overall the eggs and french toast tasted good. The sausage patties were quite dry and not what I was expecting. The french toast also comes with cute syrup bottles instead of a pitcher of syrup you find at most places. The coffee was also okay but just average. They didn't offer any flavored creamers. There are many breakfast places in Tucson but this one is closer to where I live. I probably won't come here again unless my mom is coming with. read more

Our family goes to Cracker Barrel maybe once every 2 months or so and this is the first time that I have left a review and doing so because of our wonderful waitress Shannon made a real impression on me. Now the service is always been good and the food as well at Cracker Barrel, but Shannon really seemed to enjoy her job took the time to talk to us and at the end of our meal when she asked if you had any plans we told her about our daughter going to prom and she was interested and wanted to see her dress picture and was just very very kind. Besides the wonderful service from Shannon, I have to say our food was probably the hottest that I can remember. I got the blueberry pancakes. My daughter does her French toast and my wife eggs in a basket and there's always enough food to fill you up. Again, Shannon thank you very much for the great service. read more

This location is always so busy but they always have such amazing service! I asked the server for her suggestion on what to order cause I was between a few items and she recommended the sampler so I could have both which somehow I missed on the menu! The store I side is so cute and they have so many different items for everyone! I got the cutest pair of 4th of July pajamas and got a matching set with my daughter. Stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast on our way to Tucson because apparently our road trips now require a mandatory Cracker Barrel checkpoint. We grabbed the Country Boy platter and split it: steak strips, over-easy eggs, cheesy grits, and hash browns. The biscuits came out warm and buttery! Classic Cracker Barrel comfort. The steak strips were solid and cooked right. Eggs were perfectly over-easy (my wife's call, not mine, but they were done well). Hash browns were crisp and actually had some personality to them. The cheesy grits? Simple, good, exactly what you want them to be. Splitting the meal ended up being the sweet spot--enough food without needing a nap afterward. And major shoutout to Sherry, our server. Friendly, fast, and on top of everything without hovering. Exactly the kind of service that makes a quick breakfast stop feel easy. While the country store that you walk into is great, that didn't make up for messing up my order. I asked for the barrel cheeseburger with no onions and no tomatoes and it arrived with no bun. There was no apology about that and had to wait approximately 10 minutes before I received my corrected order. The decor in the restaurant gives the feel of an old fashioned farmhouse so that it is pretty cool. I would recommend this place for the country store but advise to eat there at your own risk. read more

This place is busy and the trinkets and gifts in the store are still awesome. However, the food quality and quantity have suffered somewhat. It's not like it was and that is sad. Fantastic again. We went there for dinner last week and Jaime one of their new food that came in a foil. I was hungry for breakfast here you can get both. Biscuits and gravy and pancakes. I haven't eaten in the restaurant for quite some time, and met up with a friend for breakfast yesterday. The giftshop was overloaded with Christmas items; it would have been nice to see Thanksgiving offerings. The menu was revamped and had many new selections. I opted to try the Bacon and Egg Hashbrown Casserole. It was delicious and flavorful. Our server, Lois, was attentive and exceptional. It's been a long time since I've been to this restaurant brand back in the Midwest not here in Tucson and this is how it went. As you walk in the restaurant you get to see the store that had many items for sale from clothing to candle items. Then you see the hostess to get your table. We placed our order and about 5 minutes later... our food arrived. That was not a good sign right there. The food was in this foil "bag" or bowl if I can even call it that on the plate that it's probably been sitting under the heating lamp aka salamander for those that work in the food I know what I'm talking about, in the kitchen for a while. The food was over cooked and tasteless, and it looked like it came out of a crockpot but it was not even that good because I've cooked meals in the crockpot at home and they were fantastic, this was not. No LOVE in that kitchen with whoever made our meals this evening. My husband had the chicken and I had the beef. Just look at the pictures I took and the ones on the campfire menu. Our food looks nothing like the food in their campfire menu pics. It was so weird eating from the big foil "bowl" that contained our meals. So disappointed on the meals this evening because we've been taking about it for days how we will go and try this restaurant since it's been a minute since we've had a dinner at Cracker Barrel. The CEO of the company should not worry about the dining room decor, they have a product quality problem not decor. I did like the way it looks inside the restaurant (decor) since the corporate office has not made those changes they seem to talk about in the news that every restaurant will experience soon. I'm writing this review one hour later after leaving the restaurant and hoping that we both don't get sick from that food that God knows how long it's been seating under the salamander in the kitchen. I hope the food was made with 30- 60 min of our arrival and I have nothing to worry about. Still, the quality of the food it's still pretty bad. Very disappointed! Now I know why we haven't had a meal at this restaurant brand in a very long time and why we will not ever AGAIN! Well, we went there this morning for breakfast because I had a craving for biscuits and gravy. The waitress that served us was top-notch the best I've ever had. She was so friendly on top of bringing us refills on our drinks and even some drinks to go and some biscuits to take home on top of that, she took off an additional three dollars off our bill and it was super busy inside and she made time to serve us well not to mention the food was good. Will definitely be back. Who doesn't love a little shopping before getting seated to enjoy some delicious food! I've been going to Cracker Barrel since i was a wee girl and it's always been a good time. This time I went with coworkers for breakfast and we got seated fairly quickly. I ordered the Mommas breakfast with pancakes with strawberries and it was delicious. I was very disappointed they had false advertising and I feel like my elderly parents were taken advantage of with the promotion advertising a free shareable if they signed up for the Rewards program. We ordered the cinnamon rolls, and then when my Dad went to pay they told him that it would take 24 hours and he would need to go another time to get a free shareable. (He lives 30 minutes away!) They charged him $8 for something we ordered because we thought it would be free (as advertised). Food was ok, it's standard Cracker Barrel. I haven't been to one of these in over a decade, and the chicken and dumplings tasted just like I remembered it. I was hoping for some fried chicken, and disappointed to hear the only option is chicken breasts, unless we come back on the weekend. On the upside, our waitress Monica was fabulous!! Reasonable expectations...it's always important to remember this when dining at a place like Cracker Barrel. You have to know that they are always busy and they will keep you waiting for a table, conveniently inside of the "Old Country Store". Built in shopping while awaiting the chance to be seated. It took 20 minutes for us to finally been taken to our table. Confession: of course I bought something. =) Our waitress busy and seemed a bit overwhelmed. It took her several minutes to check on us for drinks and several minutes for them to come back for our order. I do like comfort food and Cracker Barrel is definitely the place for that. A large menu with options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They even offer a $6 "take home" meal which is a nice value. I had breakfast and The Manfolk had the catfish dinner. The food was fine, nothing special but not horrible. I doubt we will go back with so many other options in Tucson. My final rating is MEH... read more

Now I remember why I stopped coming. food was lukewarm like the coffee. had to ask twice for napkins My coffee was lukewarm when I finally got it. Sausage patties were room temp hockey pucks. I got half a biscuit instead of two whole ones. they were tasteless and hard. The server rarely came around and I finally had to ask a manager for the napkins and Tabasco I had originally requested. The place has gone so far downhill that I believe it is never going to recover. The food is awful. The service is bad as well. It took over 30 minutes to even get asked if we would like some drinks. No refills except when we saw the manager walking by and asked him for some. We were a party of 4 each visit and all the food was bad!!!! Cold, not cooked or overcooked. I was craving for a good meal and I remember having good fried chicken from this place. So we went...we love the atmosphere inside. I spend a lot of time wondering in awe, where they get the antiques that's on display all over the restaurant. Aside from that we also love the food here, my husband ordered meatloaf and I ordered their Southern style fried chicken. Oh boy, they give you a lot! I have 4 pieces of chicken on my plate, choice of biscuit or corn bread and 2 sides. That's a lot of food! And I highly recommend their Strawberry Lemonade, it's super good. I don't know where to start, but to make a long story short, our hostess had to clean the table before we sat down -still dirty, I had to switch chairs because it was oily, then the package the silverware comes in, got soaked up with grease that was left over from the prior occupants, then we found out both our coffee mugs had lipstick on it, provided feedback at the front when checking out and was just told that lipstick does stain these days and that only the servers were working today not the bussers which was not true because I saw several male employees with their white hand/cleaning towels and busser bins-wiping down the tables. I don't understand why no one can take accountability these days just rather argue. Our two coffees were taken off the bill, but that was not the whole point here. Glad to see people having a positive experience with Crackle Barrel. We went expecting a good ole fashioned traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Instead we got a cheffy interpretaion‍ of one! After a two hour wait just to get a table, we're served a 'standard' portion of a foreign interpretation and moderate sized dinner. The greens beans tasted like they were boiled in vinegar, one and half pieces of turkey breast, about 1/2 cup of green stuffing, a white gravy, dribble of sweet potato, small scoop of cranberries, extremely crumbly tasteless cornbread. For dessert, a cinnamon dominated pumpkin pie without whipped cream because they ran out. Wine was good! Rooms were so cold the food was cold halfway through the meal! They have a fun store right when you walk in the front door that is full of some the most interesting and off the wall Knick knacks that you might ever want. food! My family and I have lived Cracker Barrel for as long as I can remember. What a disappointment it was today. The menu has completely changed, the portions are so disappointingly small.
