We stopped by here on our way to Las Vegas from San Diego. It was my first time eating at cracker barrel! I totally get the hype now. The catfish and steak fries were really good. The corn could've been better, but it was still good enough. I really loved shopping at the store attached to the restaurant. It's a great way to spend some time while waiting for your food to come out. I found a lot of stocking stuffers here! Overall I had a good experience visiting cracker barrel and I can't it took me this long to visit one! Will be coming again next time we drive over to Vegas. read more

I visited the Victorville Cracker Barrel this weekend and it was super busy. Even with the crowd we were seated quickly. Our server, Tony, was exceptional. He was charming and it really added to our experience. He could have been forgiven if he hurried us (it really was busy!) but he gave us his full attention while he was at our table. He is excellent at his job and a lovely human being too! Our food was great and I spent way too much money in the gift shop. All in all, a perfect Cracker Barrel visit! read more

Honest review, I've eaten 3 times at Cracker Barrel and I only ordered the fried chicken. To be honest i feel it's a hype, chicken is too fried and dry and bland. Wish I could say better things but I cannot. I've been to a few California ones and in Florida. read more

The BEST thing about this location is the Management and Customer Service We ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken, Okra, Dumplings, Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese and French Fries. Chicken Fried Chicken was BLAND but a nice choice it you have issues with High Blood Pressure. The Batter wasn't the same as some other locations in other states. Okra was the same ... Very Commercially BLAND. Slimy as usual. I would say the health benefits outweigh the texture and flavor. Could have been a little warmer and crisper tho. Mac and Cheese was uuummm ...Well, reminded me of College Campus Food Dumplings.... They were small triangles of Flat Sheets of a gumpy Dough smothered in a White Chicken Gravy. Honestly, jump trash the pastie Dumplings and add the Biscuits to the gravy, you will thank me later. Fried Chicken was Crispy and Good. My husband said the Breast was a little overbooked but overall you can't go wrong with the Fried chicken French Fried were .....Just average Frend Fries Biscuits were THE BEST EVER ...OMG!!!! Homemade Special Order Cream Soda was delicious. Thank you to out Server for making that. Went Shopping after... Sadly they ran out of the Black Berry Jam ....soooo delicious tho. Stopped by here on trip back home from Vegas and it was its usual great home style diner food. I'm a big fan of their chicken and dumplings. I've also had their fried chicken and it was damn good too. They give complimentary form muffins with honey and they are a must try as well. So extremely disappointed! My husband and I used to visit this place a couple times a week. We no longer visit there. My favorite item was the chicken pot pie. They removed it from their everyday menu and only offered it on Sunday. Now it's completely gone. I won't be coming back! read more

Food poisoning & Rude customer service. I ordered the roast beef dinner. I order from this place all the time no complaints. Today, I ate a couple bites from my roast beef & potatoes. I threw up up my food & blood, once I swallowed my food. I called to get a refund. Elias the Manager stated they never had a problem with their roast beef & I was making things up. Has always wanted to visit, left extremely disappointed. Seemed like server was given too large of an area to cover, took Seville to get our drinks refilled. Server never checked on us. The salad my wife got was less than inspiring, farmer boys is way better. I got the 4 price fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes/gravy. Mashed potatoes were barely warm, green beans weren't even warm and the chicken well that was the largest disappointment. Needless to say won't be going back...ever read more

Seated quickly, our server Adrian was really helpful and kind. Very attentive. My chicken arrived cold and dry but he had it remade right away. Our first time at Cracker Barrell. We were planning to eat at the Cracker Barrell in Las Vegas, but we saw the Victorville location on our way to Las Vegas, so we planned to stop by on our way home. We expected a long wait, because the parking spaces around it were full, but there was no wait at all. No one was seated outside, but there were many tables and rocking chairs on the porch-like exterior. When we first walked through the doors, we found ourselves in a gift shop. The cash register where you pay for your meal is there, and ao is the bathroom. The host seated us, and we saw the place was packed with large family groups. Our server gave us a run-down since it was our first time, and she made some good recommendations from the menu. We tried both the corn muffins and biscuits (Corn muffins were the winner for us; we prefer light and fluffy biscuits). My husband had the bone-in fried chicken with mashed potatoes and fried apples, and I had the southern fried chicken and meatloaf plate with steak fries and fried apples. Our daughter had the kids mac and cheese. We also ordered beignets to try (These are a bit denser than the beignets you'd find in New Orleans or Disneyland). I came to order to-go. I ordered their thin sliced roast beef and discovered they no longer have it. Everyone started saying they never offered roast beef. Apparently, they did not believe me when I said I used to always order it, because they just kept repeating they never had it. They were trying to make a liar out of me, I guess. I found this denial of never having it very strange. Anyhow, they only have pot roast now. I never tried their pot roast, so I ordered to try it. It was so extremely salty I could not eat it. Anyhow, after I ordered, I wanted to pay. Two of the ladies did not know how to ring me up and made me wait to pay. I don't know why I was waiting to pay, so I asked a 3rd lady who showed up and she knew how to ring me up. I don't think I should have to fight to pay. I don't understand what the issue was. They knew my total. I wish the food would have been better. I still have the taste of salt in my mouth and I feel dehydrated. read more

While on our way home from a trip we found a Cracker Barrel and figured let's get some road trip food. The place opens into a shop full of merchandise which is pretty cool. Makes for a great environment when walking in. We sat down and ordered some rolls and cornbread, along with some fish and catfish special. For some reason we couldn't order the chicken which we heard so much about because they ran out? It was bizarre... When we got the rolls, the cornbread was rather bitter and unpleasant and the normal bread rolls were raw! We asked them to kindly bring us different rolls and the next batch was raw as well; just pure dough that sticks to your mouth. The waitress brought one more batch and they were about half raw. Hard to believe a place can't make rolls.. The entrees came and the fish was delicious, the green beans were salty, the dumpling were messy but delicious. So overall the food is decent but they ran out of all their chicken and kept serving us raw bread rolls. Avoid this place unless you only want the fish though that may be the only food they have available, and avoid the rolls! read more

My best friend and I eat here quite often. They have excellent breakfast lunch and dinner. Plus a very cute little country store shop. I ate at this location yesterday in the mid-afternoon. I had their new chicken tender dippers with coleslaw and steamed carrots. The carrots were a little bit overcooked however the coleslaw was excellent and I brought the two chicken tender dippers home and had those later on for a snack. They have five or six different dipping sauces of which you get to choose three I chose the maple syrup sauce which was on the slightly spicy side, the barbecue sauce which was delicious and also ranch dressing sauce which was delicious. I've had their steak tips in the past which are also delectable. Everything imaginable in the little shop along with a different selection of sodas and candies. read more

This store's service and food is consistently top notch. I come here anytime i have to pass by for vegas or the desert. Out of about 10 visits, not once has it been off. Plenty of parking and you walk in to a quaint store. I'll admit, the items on display were adorable, whether you're looking for house decor or cute outfits (I really liked the kids). You put your name down with the host, who is standing in the archway leading to the dining area. You can shop as you wait which makes the time go by. Even though it was a busy Saturday morning, our party of 4 were seated relatively quickly (10 minute wait). The staff was friendly as they showed us to our seat and sat us down. Taking our order, the waiter seemed kind but also stressed balancing multiple tables, some with large parties. We noticed that the table and some of the items displayed on it had a bit of stickiness. Never pleasant, but it is a place that serves syrup so perhaps expected or more detail necessary to wipe the tables. The comfort food was overall satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the French toast (soft and buttery flavor) even though the strawberries I had requested to be added were missing (I made sure to remove it from my check which was done with no fuss). I particularly liked the maple syrup. I have plans to get my hands on some more of that syrup. I believe they sell it in the store. Some things that needed to be addressed: the coffee tasted like it had been sitting in the pot too long. Had to request a new cup. While the chicken was nice and crisp, I do prefer roscoe's. We thought the biscuits were tasty, but the fried apples were quite disappointing. As i mentioned, the waitress seemed quite busy so we mostly had to draw her attention rather than getting periodically checked on. Veterans day 2023 to get my Coca Cola infused chocolate cake! Had lunch here with the wifey and ordered the turkey fried steaks with biscuits, corn muffins, fried apples, fried okra, dumplings, and macaroni and cheese. Also go the mixed berry tea. We were driving back from Vegas and both of us were salivating over the thought of bone-in Southern fried Cracker Barrel chicken. We never stop in Victorville but drive through back home. We were hungry when we pulled in and although there was a fifteen minute wait, we were OK, moseying around the store thinking about our fried chicken. When we were seated our server apologetically informed us they had run out of bone in fried chicken! Very disappointing but I was the verge now of reaching the hangry stage so we settled for the boneless chicken breasts. They were good but not what we had come there for. Making matters worse they brought out their delicious biscuits but had no silverware! How is one supposed to butter the biscuits without silverware? The server was kind and did her best. But there were too many fails to give this establishment a grade higher than three stars. The Cracker Barrel we usually frequent is the one in Santa Maria off the 101. We have never had any negatives with that particular restaurant. One thing I can give up a thumbs up for is their pancake batter mix they sell at the store. Extremely bad service. I took my wife's family to try this place for the first time for an American breakfast. Unluckily, we were the second in line to enter, seated second, part of a party of five, next to the kitchen. We ordered right away because we knew what we wanted. The service was slow. I was patient, but at the one-hour mark I started asking for updates, repeatedly asking every 10 minutes. I wouldn't have asked if I hadn't seen other tables finishing their meals and receiving second courses. We got our food almost 2 hours after sitting down; our food came out wrong, cold, and tasted horrible. I decided to send everything back. The "manager" asked what was wrong and justified the slow service, but it didn't make sense because other parties who were seated after us had already left. All excuses made no sense. I definitely felt unheard, ignored, and treated differently. Probably they don't care about this but I'll never go to a Cracker Barrel in my life. read more

We ordered the Sunday fried chicken (only comes with 1 pc of chicken so we had to order an additional 1 pc a la carte for almost the same cost of the entree. I am a senior with really bad knee and when I went to check out it took over 10 minutes of waiting for the clerks to figure out what was going on with my food bill, first on one machine and then another machine , had a younger clerk (she was lost and couldn't figure out anything) then an older clerk ( she was frustrated and grouchy like it was our fault, we only went there to eat, didn't even apologize) trying to figure out what was wrong along with them running back and forth to the back somewhere. This was ridiculous! Then on the way out ran into the store manager and another and complained, all they did was go inside, apologized it happened and then went inside. read more

This was the worst experience we have experienced at Crackle Barrel.. Not only was it hard to understand our server, but her voice was soo low it was annoying.. She brought out Faucet water, we had to ask for biscuits and she brought out bitten muffins that were probably someone else's .. we asked for scrambled eggs and she brought raw eggs .. thank god i noticed it and saved my poor elderly mother from putting that disgusting crap in her mouth .. I call the supervisor to come look at all this and the server takes all the food to prevent us from taking pictures .. The manager comes and wasn't even apologetic, she just stated they would re make it .. NO MAAM!!! It was sooo disappointing that we just couldn't stay anymore ..
