They do a nice job accommodating a large group. I had the grilled octopus appetizer and mushroom ravioli for dinner. The octopus was nicely grilled and served with flavorful fingerling potatoes and a savory sherry vinaigrette. The mushroom ravioli was light, airy and full of flavor, not like a traditional dish, heavy in a cream sauce. I also had the red sangria and it was sweet and refreshing. Craft is must! read more

The atmosphere seemed nice here, but I didn't eat - just drinks for my girl and I. They had a great beer selection and pricey mixed drinks - all of which were very good. It seems someone invented the marketing term "craft cocktails". It means you can charge a lot more for something bartenders have been mixing up for a thousand years or so. My father was telling me, "Nobody orders Tom Collins's or Whiskey Sours so much anymore, but believe me - in my day there were many complicated mixed drinks. You'd be surprised." I might come back and try the food, but I have to give that some thought. This Danbury location had a wonderful bartender hitting on my wife the whole time, which was partly amusing then mostly annoying. I still gave him a decent tip, hoping he'll save up and maybe move out of his parents house and find himself his own girl with a paid Tinder membership. Place was not busy and service was horrible...waiter had a bit of an attitude, maybe just a bad day but regardless we had to flag a different server down to get another drink.. Jasson is a true professional; he met with me to discuss options, listened thoroughly, and what he and his team executed was beyond our expectations. A charcuterie board, a crudites platter, Mediterranean board, crab cake bites, bacon-wrapped scallops, and more. Beautifully plated, elegant, and SO delicious. Price was very reasonable. We decided to order fries and the bartender asked if we wanted truffle fries or regular.... We took a moment to decide and decided on the truffle fries. About 30 min goes by and we haven't received our fries so we asked for the check.. and she had never even put the fries order in! One of our neighborhood recommend that place and I was pretty excited to try that place. From the beginning, service was amazing waitresses and waiters are very nice keep checking if we need anything else. We ordered calamari as a starter. They served in a different way that I really liked. It was perfectly cooked and kinda make you addicted to eat more . I ordered fillet mignon as an entree. All I can say, I knew I wasn't at the steakhouse my fillet mignon was kinda a blend. It wasn't has a good falvor ( maybe it wasn't marinated enough) it was so so. I ordered medium it came kinda a burned top in the middle of my steak was medium well. I definitely will try something else on next time. As a dessert I had a cream brulee cheesecake. If i could give half a star I would. My friends and I wanted a place to just have a drink and have a nice night, we had ordered some fast food beforehand and just wanted to sit outside somewhere. So we went inside and asked one of the waitress if we could just eat our food outside and get drinks and she said no. Rightfully so! So we went back to our car and had our meal. But obviously didn't want to end our night there so we decided to go back to this place and just get drinks. As soon as we walked in and tried to get seated another waitress who we had not seen before said to us " oh you guys had outside food, you can't eat here" and we explained we ate somewhere else and we just wanted to get drinks and sit outside. To which she sighed and sat us down. One of us asked her what was the most popular beer and we got some attitude from our waitress and said she didn't drink beer so she couldn't tell us. After a pause but this beer is what people are getting. We were a little thrown off by her attitude, but decided to move on and she came back with our drinks. Never checked on us if we were ok. Mind you the place was not busy at all, maybe at most 7 or 8 people. Another guy was sitting at the bar, to which she seemed very fond of and kept talking to. Eventually we wanted our check so we had to flag her down and she came quickly back to get our check, but my friends and I were in the middle of a conversation we just forgot. It's important to note that it wasn't close to closing time because the other guy inside was also just hanging out. And she was upset that we didn't sign it and she gave us some attitude again. (Thanks) When we were ready to leave I waved to say bye and say thank you and with full eye contact just got an eye roll. When I say she gave us attitude it was like a passive aggressive type of thing. Now, I understand that maybe that night wasn't her night, but I'm just rating this place from the one time I went. Haven't posting in a while due to Covid. This new restaurant is really a 4.5 but that doesn't exist. The octopus appetizer was delicious well charred with a delicious Romanesco sauce. Sounds a little strange, and I'm not even a fan of spicy food, but that dish is really delicious. Good selection of beers on tap, and a pretty good tequila selection as well. Just noticed this place and had to check it out. There's a nice outside patio but we sat inside. The place has a rustic feel with a bar separated from the dining area with cozy booths. We couldn't help but notice the Edison Lights on the kitchen fixities hanging from the ceiling. There's a large selection of drinks to choose from, beer, wine, etc. I was going to get one of the salads with scallops but decided on the short ribs with mash potatoes. Went here for the first time over the weekend and it was pretty mediocre. The food was underwhelming, both my wife and I got things we normally love and agreed they were average if not slightly below. Waiter was a great guy, he gets 2 of the 3 stars for this place. But even so, the service needed a little extra training. We had no place settings when the food came out and so after asking for a fork, the waiter comes to our outdoor table and puts a fork down touching the table. Now some people might not mind this, but my wife is germ conscious and let's be honest, outdoor tables have bugs crawl on them, birds crap on them etc. So she wasnt thrilled he layed the fork on the bare table. We still had no napkins so I requested that, and another server came by with a stack of bar napkins, not the classy cotton napkins that come with place settings. So ya, food not that great and service although friendly, needs a little tightening up. read more

I used to love going here. Since they changed over all the staff, it's cold and very unwelcoming! I used to come and see my favorite workers. Now they all suck esp the bartender , no personality whatsoever. I used to spend at least 3 hours and about $150 each time. After yesterdays visit I NEVER want to go back! The people you hire matter! The way they treat customers MATTERS! I wouldn't be surprised if they lost a lot of regulars! I would drive 45 minutes. Now it's a waste of time! I'm gonna go where my business is wanted!
