Update: Someone reached out to me this morning regarding my experience with the service. I will definitely go back and give them another try in the future. Tried this place this morning as it was close to my AirBnb. Walked in the door and one of the employees looked me right in the face and walked right by me like I didn't exist. I can't tell you how much of a complete turn off it is to walk into an establishment and not be greeted. I ordered a bear claw and 10 donut holes. The bear claw was pretty good. First time I came here i tried the chocolate cake donut which my friend really liked... I decided to also get the Nutella one... its Nutella!! so yeah its nice and filled really enjoyed it... I come back 2 weeks after to try the Nutella donut again and now its just a huge donut with absolutely nothing inside but fried tasting though and like a slight rub of nutella on top... I walked back in the shop maybe I got the wrong donut, well no they said the one i got before was a special customer order and i got one of the extra ones.... sigh super disappointed... It makes me very sad to write this review because I love donuts so much. I came here very excited to try the fantastic looking flavors and had this place bookmarked for a while. Little did I know that it would be so disappointing! I don't know where these raving reviews are coming from. Have people eaten good donuts?? They were massive, but quality wise, it was far from what I expected from a gourmet donut shop. The space didn't look gourmet to be honest, and nothing about the donuts were "craft." I thought the whole thing was very misleading. I ordered the following 4 flavors: -Espresso - this was the only one that was barely edible. It still ended up being too sweet..but it somewhat had the coffee taste at least and was decorated well (with slight feathering) -Passonfruit - this one tasted like citrus gone bad - as in a poor cheap rendition of the actual fruit. If you know what passionfruit tastes like, the flavor was just poorly captured and the tang left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth - Nutella stuffed - it was not real nutella...it was a sugary generic brand and if you can't taste the difference then you def do not know understand gourmet flavors - creme brulee - I think this one was the most disappointing of all. It was essentially a layer of hard candy on top of the donut. I have had amazing creme brulee donuts and this one doesn't even come close The oil that they fry these donuts in is very bad quality...because I can taste it and I think they re-use that oil...It had a sickening taste. I think in concept and ideally this donut shop would have been great, instagrammable, and delicious. However, the mockery in such poor quality of these donuts really baffles me...in the reviews and that this place manages to stay open....I am staying far away to say the least and would warn any donut lovers to do the same. read more

I was there to pick up 3 and a half dozen donuts for a work function. They had a surprisingly large selection considering it was 6:02 am and so it was quick work to get 3 dozen donuts boxed up. The other 6 I bought were their specialty donuts and I must say I loved 5/6 flavors. The sprinkles were my least favorite- not because it was bad- it wasn't bad. But in comparison to their other flavors, it pales in comparison. Hands down favorite was the banana and caramel. So so good. Lots of banana flavor and amazing with coffee. The others were also really good. I liked the lemon poppy seed secondly and the coconut, cake batter and mud pie all tied for third place. Crafted Doughnuts is a cute little shop with a lot of character. We didn't really spot it until we were walking through the plaza as it is in the corner. The store itself is very cozy. They don't just serve doughnuts though! They serve panini's as well as a variety of tea's and coffee's including boba. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and warm. The doughnuts are to die for though; the flavor is not too strong, and the consistency of the doughnut itself is thick and fluffy but not dry! This place is along my morning commute so I stop in occasionally. The donuts come in fun flavors and make for great photos. They're always fresh. I'd say that taste wise they're a step up from most mom and pop donut shops in the area, although it's a hefty $30 for a dozen of their specialty donuts. It's a good ol' fashioned donut shop with specialty donuts that are made just a bit bigger than regular-sized donuts, although they have regular ones too. The lady working gave me a free donut after purchasing 4 of the specialty ones. That's cool. I bought the cookie butter, lemon poppy, passionfruit, Mexican chocolate, and the sea salt caramel donuts. I recommend the first four, but the last one just kind of taste like a maple bar. At least to me it does. The passionfruit is the best, and the lemon poppy is a good palate cleanser before you move on to more chocolatey donuts. The donuts themselves are a good balance of light and cakey. This shop is in the plaza on Wilshire before Wilton coming from Western Ave. Parking seems tight, but I don't think it's a problem. Then again, I walked there when I went so...drive at your own risk. Wanted to take some donuts in to work and found this place on yelp. Easy to stop by in the morning and parking in the lot is free during the day. Specialty donuts are $3 and I got a dozen regular for $10. I also liked the stumptown cold brew with chocolate milk. Sounded weird to me at first, but I was able to sample it...adds perfect amount of sweetness for my taste. I only tried the blueberry donut myself but my coworkers all enjoyed them. Randomly came across this spot and I was pleasantly surprised! All their donuts looked super delicious but for some reason I decided to order a breakfast sandwich. I got breakfast sandwich #7 which was turkey, egg, cheese on croissant bread. IT WAS SO GOOD. Nice warm flaky croissant with cheese that was melted to perfection. We got an array of donuts and they were all absolutely delicious. If you like donuts you should visit here at least once or order before. I like the vegan options as well. I've purchased crafted donuts for the office twice in two weeks. The specialty donuts are delicious. I ate a guava chili donut yesterday and it has just the right amount of spice for a donut. People in my office really seem to like the Mexican hot chocolate and the maple bacon donuts. I will definitely go back the next time I pick up donuts for the office. The latte was also pretty good. This is a yummy little doughnut shop in a corner of a shopping plaza. I have tried almost every donut here and all are really good. They are bigger than an average doughnut and about the same price as all donut shops in the general area. They have a good selection of vegan donuts as well. The donuts here cost from $1-3 and it really fills u up; so much so that u can have a whole meal here if you're a sugar person. They also have free parking so that is also a plus but sometimes it can get a little packed so it's best to come a bit early. All the donuts here are yeasted donuts so if u prefer cake over yeasted, this place may not satisfy u as much but u should still come here at least once in your life. I've tried some of the popular places around LA and they can't compare to Crafted Donuts! My family and I sampled the Creme Brulee, the Mud, the mocha, cake batter anf a glazed twist. They were all delicious!!! The consistency is perfect and they are well balanced. The only one that was way too sweet for my liking was the mud one. It had vanilla and caramel drizzled on top of it which made it too sweet. I tried their matcha smoothie with boba and unfortunately it wasn't to my liking due to the fact that it lacked flavor.
