I ordered a wonderful beef Wellington pie with gravy....if you are a foodie, you have to try these amazing baked pies! I also ordered a Carmel latte and it came with a baby bear in the foam. After attending an outdoor event, and seeing long lines. My friend suggested grabbing lunch somewhere, we were on West and so I saw the Crafted Palette and had remembered coming here during a wine walk and observing their food menu. My friend and I ended up coming in and being the only two in there. After studying the menu, I settled with a cheese plate and a hibiscus margarita. The cheese plate was large with a decent variety of cheeses and crackers. The drink was one of those that you want to sip on as it tasted soo good. Realizing the cheese plate was great but considering bearing the heat, I ordered a Beef Wellington Pie from their pop up shop. This was hot and delicious. During this time a man came in with a box of supplies and started chatting with us, I assumed he was a staff member but as he kept talking and talking and giving a book and an Artown catalogue from the previous year and asking for some cheese I gauged that he was not a staff member. The actual staff did nothing to intervene only after the fact that he was taking paintings down to see which colors matched our wardrobes. I loved my visit at Crafted Palette. I ordered a plain iced latte and a savory Tuscan hand pie. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. My coffee order was perfectly prepared, and the hand pie was out of this world. The crust was crispy, and the filling was delicious. I'm sad I found this place on my last day in town, as I would have liked to try a few more of the pie flavors. I've now had it delivered at least 4 times, and that is mostly due to my now constant craving for the epically delicious Crafted Croissant - a Canadian bacon & havarti croissant sandwich that comes smothered in a white wine garlic sauce. I tried several pastries and the coffee was delightful, If I had to have one complaint it would be that there are not any power outlets at the tables to recharge your phone/tablet/laptop. What a cute gem! It feels like home. You walk in off the street into a log cabin with beautiful local art that brightly decorates the walls (pieces are for sale) and the warmth of goodies. I got two coconut lattes and picked up a croissant for the SO. You can doordash pick up ahead and it is waiting on a colorful bookshelf on the left side of the store. Everything was delicious! Date night on a Wednesday night and we had the studio to ourselves with Karen as our Artista for the evening. We've done several paint and sip's at various other venue's, but I have to say that Karen is by far the best we've ever painted with. Her technique is simple, easy to manipulate and definitely alleviates all stress of creating 'perfection' because it actually does come out perfect!! We had such a great time creating our masterpieces. Gail was our Barista... Very welcoming, friendly, and graciously hospitable. The drinks were delish, the food was even more delish. I'm not crafty. I can barely paint a simple picture with words. So when I tell you about the cool paintings and the neat art on the walls, I can only share with you that some of them are downright cool. And when I tell you that they have all of their future paint project ups on a calendar on the website, know that I haven't attempted even one. I'm just not a painter. What I am, is a consumer of art. My art of choice is food. I love this art form and the Crafted Palette has created a work of art in making some really tasty food. The best thing on the menu is the Shirred Eggs - two eggs and leeks buried in a creamy parmesan sauce served with some gluten free bread is SUCH a great treat. They also have these quiche bites that are good for a quick bite. My daughter always loves the croissant with her drink. I've also had a couple different croissant sandwiches. All were something I would get again. When we come in for Vertical Coffee it's great to have some tasty treats to snack on and cut the rumbly tumbly. The wait for the food can sometimes be a little while, so if you are ordering, order as quick as you can after arriving. That way you aren't waiting around for the order to come out. I think they even do order ahead and Uber Eats. My wife and daughter are doing the painting class right now as I type this, maybe they can give you a better idea of how fun or effective the art side of the business is. Went on a date night here and had a great time! We reserved a paint class online which was $35 each, which came with 1 drink, all the paint you need, and canvas. They supply you with everything you need for a fun night (brushes, apron, confidence in your painting ability). The class comes with an instructor which will walk you through the class, but I encourage everyone to deviate a little and create something unique! This class is for all levels of artists. The most fun part is at the end, seeing how different everyone's painting came out!! Great energy, super service, and a fun couple of hours! Everybody was raving about the hash browns. So I ordered them, they're the same shredded potato hash browns you can get at Denny's. You know the kind that come frozen in a big brown bag? They weren't cooked to a "golden crisp" they were barely browned on each side and limp, oily shredded potatoes in the inside. The americano coffee was barely 8 oz and the Mexican Coke was a small 12 oz bottle. The egg cheese and bacon croissant sandwich was good but not outstanding. Not worth the money. read more

Used a Groupon to take advantage of their Sunday morning painting class. Overall- Decent class. It was easy enough to follow along and the teacher was nice. The space is cramped but quaint. We had a decent time. Ease of booking- Easy enough. You must call to reserve your spot but our class had a few spots still open. The calendar for the classes are online including the images for the lesson. Value- The class is $35 pp. For getting a reduced price, it was a good value especially. Parking- street and metered or pay parking garage. We lucked out and got a spot but you'll want to plan ahead. Tip- The space is shared with a coffee shop which serves light breakfast and coffee, and wine or beer. Recommend to business: We were told to show up on time in order for the class to start at 10:30. Unfortunately a large group showed up late and we still didn't start class until almost 10:45. A little annoying to sit and wait while this group got coffee with no urging by the instructor so we could get started. read more

4.5 stars: We loved the breakfast dishes here; coffee was 'OK' as my husband likes a darker roast and his cappuccino tasted on the light side. The cappuccino had a good, thick foam cap. We really enjoyed the waffles and French toast. Portions and prices were very fair, and perfect for a nice American style breakfast without it being too heavy or needing to overeat. Service was fast and friendly. Our one big negative and reason for the 1/2 star deduction: the orange juice tasted watered down, like a bunch of ice had melted in it. Another new kid in the neighborhood. We have watched this morph from Beaujolais Bistro to Crafted Palette. Not a huge change structurally, but a quantum leap in concept and vibe. This is not exclusively a sip and paint place. It is a very nice place to stop and get a great cup of coffee and a light breakfast or lunch. Relaxed and rustic was my primary impression. Very different from the high end French Cuisine that was previously in this space. The menu is posted on a chalkboard by the bar with printed menus for the drink items. We decided to go with the Pastrami Pretzel Roll Sliders for lunch (breakfast items are served all day. My husband had wine, I had an iced coffee. The coffee was excellent as were the sandwiches. The owners were very friendly and we felt very welcomed. There are only the two of them when we were there and service was a bit slow, but the food was worth the wait. There was a little bit of a mixup with my drink - I was offered a free replacement, but it was not a big deal. I really appreciated the offer. We are looking forward to a return visit - maybe for a breakfast treat with a hot coffee. Looking forward to trying the Poulet - Brie sandwich. Yum! Man, I came here with my special lady friend a few weeks back. We'd been lost in the bowels of Atlantis all weekend and I wanted to take her to a nice quiet place and these Schirred Eggs seemed like something she'd appreciate. Firstly. Where the hell is this place? I drove past it like a dozen times because the only signage is a 12 point font piece of paper glued to the window. Next, a disinterested and divested barista took our order down in triplicate for some reason (I suspect she mixed up her sativa and indica that morning). We sat down and enjoyed probably the best 80s pop compilation I think will ever exist. Things were looking up, but one hour later we started wondering where our order might be. She said they looked like artists and probably were being super meticulous about it and could I please not make a scene. Just then, a family of 5 came in. They placed their order and got their food an endurable 15 minutes or so later. Da. Fuck? At that point I broke cease fire and politely inquired about our food. Waitress went back to the kitchen and came back 30 minutes later. Our order had been lost to history (the printer malfunction but only for our order, you see) and could we tell her what we'd ordered (we had paid already--a form of false arrest). The owner would like to offer us another latte on the house for our troubles. Dude, I was on my best goodboy behavior--that's what saved lives that morning. Walking in with my mom and one day shy of being 21 year old niece we were instantly swept into an evening of fun, Laughter, artistic expression and left with a painting that is now banging on the wall! Beverage selection for everyone from wine.....coffees...teas.....sodas. Lots of tempting desserts and a cheese tray of the day. I used my Yelp coupon for the Mocha and it did not disappoint. Big mug that kept warm with the final touches of painting I did. David was an excellent "teacher". Who knew the right amount of humor as well as praise for everyone's work. I've attended two painting classes at Crafted Palette. I loved both. Fun, personable staff and artists make you feel welcome in the cozy space. A pop up coffee bar and tasty food make it even more enjoyable. On my first visit I shared a baked brie that was creamy, warm and delicious with my guests. We each had a glass of wine and painted lovely purple flowers on the canvas provided. During my second visit I enjoyed a latte and we splurged a little and ordered the strawberry flowers which are filled with grand mariner infused whipped cream. What a treat! My guy and I each painted matching roosters which will adorn the kitchen wall as soon as we find a rustic frame to accompany them.
