Date of service: 2.3.24 Ambiance: Not any real ambiance. Decor is themed in a fisherman's setting (nets & anchors etc) I do like that they have more booths than tables but this poses a problem if you're coming with a large party. Service: We had a very nice young lady as our server. Very accommodating from the start. There were a few things that we noticed our service lacked towards the end that I believe had to do with the fact that we weren't ordering anymore drinks, like the other tables. Which we would have if we weren't just ok with what we were served thus far. I never received the bib she was supposed to bring me so I just made one with the paper towels. All in all it wasn't a bad experience with her. We did leave her a $20 tip Food: This place has changed TREMENDOUSLY. I can see why they are trying everything to drum up business. I ordered an original flavor crafty crab seasoning mild. When I got it, it was bland and not much sauce at all to try and dip my seafood in. Added bonus: they also had karaoke here and the music was so loud that we could not hear each other talk. It seems to be turning into a lounge now.

Had taste for some good ol seafood. Didn't feel like making the drive the Captain Whites so Crafty Crab will do. Excellent choice might I add! Since removing my braces I can enjoy corn on the cob! My seafood was excellent...fresh and I opted for the Boom sauce with medium heat. It was season just right. I also ordered hush puppies, shrimp basket and some lemon pepper wings!! The wings were perfect! And not salty at all. I was a little nervous there but surprisingly impressed. Only thing that was missing was some good ol sweet potato fries, but they were out of those ;((( & still hit a 5 stars rating because our server was top notch! **people will always remember how you make them feel...*** I love a good waiter/waitress who actually enjoys their job and has awesome personality. Our waitress was awesome! Awesome service, delicious seafood...& I won't have to cook tonight because my hunnies going to enjoy these left overs! Sounds like an all around WIN to me! Happy Yelping!

I really don't understand why this location is scoring bad points. The food was great !! The price is reasonable!! The location was nice. The ambiance was cool. The flavors was on point. And they even have specials (ask about them) Also it's not overly crowded and the music selection is nice. If I could say one thing that needs improvement is training the waiters on the importance of customer service. I was a little frustrated with my my waiter . The fact I could never find him when I needed things. And when I was ready to pay my bill he was gone for an extended amount of time.

If you've never ever had "a boil" this is a good place to try one. However, it is not at all the best...it's good, but not "smack your mama good". I guarantee you can make your own at home and it will be just as good if not better. And it will probably be better. We also ordered fires and hush puppies. They were both mediocre at best...not bad, not good, just a little okay. The bog question is was it worth what I paid? I'm glad you asked, it was. The food was priced right and the portions were generous. Question 2, will I go back despite all I said above? Yes, yes I would. I didn't try everything on the menu so I would go back but I'm not rushing to get there. It will happen when it happens. Last, the young man that helped me was good with his service, just like the food he wasn't great nor was he bad. He just got the job done. Until next time. For now I'll stay "crabby" and hope for a better tasteful experience next time.

It used to be a good place to chill! Food but specially the service are getting terrible every time. We went to celebrate a birthday, we remained our waitress to bring stuffs more than twice and she completely forget to bring my dessert. The only times that she and another waiter showed up to the table frequently, was to ask if we need the check, it felt like they were pushing us lo leave the place.

Tiami was our server and she was amazing . The food was cooked really well and the service was quick. I had lunch with a friend here at 2pm and we were sat within minutes, the restaurant was not Crowded a had a handful of couples dining at the same time . My friend had coupon from the mail which was honored . Taimi did inform us of their specials. Happy Hour starts at 3pm and end at 8pm . I had order the fried calamari which was a decent amount for $10 and then my main Entree was the Autumn Special for $34.99 with the Hot Seasoning . The boil was hot and very well distributed I highly recommend it . The food did not disappoint and I will be returning sooner rather than later

They've had just a few full days of operation, but I was lucky enough to get there early so I can give my two cents! So, PG County has had two big cajun seafood chains (that I'm aware of): Hook N Reel & BeClaws. So I was wondering what it would be like in this place. Well... it was kind of dark. All of the blinds were closed! As beautiful of a day as it was, they should've been open, but it wasn't a dealbreaker haha. There were lights, but not many. Not really a complaint, just an observation. So, the service was totally on point. We were checked on regularly and the stadd were super kind and professional. I decided to get fried tilapia and sweet potato fries. My friend got gumbo and scallops. I will say that my tilapia was delicious... the breading was not excessive, and the seasoning was present, though it didn't perk my taste buds as much as I expected it to. The way it was made was how I'd imagine myself making it (fried, but not enough seasoning to make it seem too salty). The highlight was the sauce I chose to have on the side with the tilapia. They have their cajun, a medium, and a spicy... but also a "Boom" sauce. The Boom sauce was BOMB. I used it for the fish and for the fries! All in all, I enjoyed my food, prices weren't bad, and I left satisfied --- but it didn't really stand out... yet. I don't even think they have alcohol yet, but they do have a bar, so I imagine it's coming soon. Hope this place does well!

The table across from us ordered shooters but we wanted to save room for the boil :D Would I return? Absolutely. 100%. Worth every single penny, and the waitress also made sure that we were comfortable. The Pick 3 for $39.99 is an excellent deal. ***This also looks like a place that stalkers would NOT be welcome. Period…read more I've been seeing this place all over social media, so when I found myself in the area, I had to see what the hype was about. First off, parking is easy. It's in a shopping center, so nothing stressful there, and the restaurant itself is easy to spot. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how clean, polished, and classy everything looked. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel chaotic. The staff immediately greeted me and asked if it was my first time which I appreciated. They didn't just rush me through the line; they actually took time to explain the menu, how the bowls are built, and offered samples. That alone made the experience feel welcoming and intentional. Now let's get into the FOOD. Everything looked fresh. They have about four rice options (which is already a win), and I went with the pineapple coconut rice. For my protein, I chose grilled chicken, but they also offer shrimp, salmon, and even a mushroom option for vegetarians and honestly, the mushrooms looked so good I almost switched. For my added sides, I kept it simple because I really wanted to taste everything. Collard greens and sweet potatoes. But they also had plantains, and okra....real deal soul food options. Then you get into the fresh toppings. Slaws, carrots, pickled veggies. I kept it light. I finished my bowl with collard green pesto (which intrigued me, and I'm glad I tried it) and added an étouffée sauce over my rice... and listen!!!!! That combo? Chef's kiss. I grabbed a tropical punch juice, and just like everything else, it tasted fresh and well-made. Let me say this clearly: the food is a 10/10. If you're someone who will give Chipotle chance after chance, then you absolutely owe it to yourself to try Spice Black. 10/10. Worth your money. Worth the hype. Worth the experience.

The restaurant is nicely decorated with vibrant colors and very clean. The service is friendly and welcoming. The food was okay. Not bad and just good in my opinion. Its not rave worthy but its still good. I would come back and try other options. This is still a good healthier option oppose to the many of terrible choices we have to choose from, this beats most unhealthy fast foods restaurants. For that reason I would return to try other food options. If you like chickpeas then this is your meal, Im not so it threw off the salad to me. I would have preferred chicken. Honestly, everything came together nicely as one salad, nothing was over powering. I'm just not a fan of chickpeas. They do have an option for shrimp but dont eat bottom feeders so that wasn't an option for me. My tastebuds are much different from yours so I would still give it a try. You might like it a little more than me. Its still a fairly good meal.

I ordered a seafood boil because I couldn't switch them up fast enough while she ordered sushi. I actually love the concept because so many people aren't sushi fans but most folks get down with seafood! The food was actually good and they pulled off both cuisines effortlessly! My margarita was as good as any chain Mexican restaurant, so that was additional plus given the Mexican holiday. The interior is on the smaller side, however, they offer booth seating and it has a decent size bar. Now, I wasn't really happy about our seat but I couldn't see behind the wall to know if there was another table to request to move to. We were sat in the front corner I guess directly under a vent and it was already chilly outside. I didn't let it bother me because I really wanted to try ERRTHANG on the menu. Now, this is where I was about to get up and leave. We sat for a good while and NO ONE came to greet, take a drink order, or even ask have we been helped. I want to say it's because we were somewhat out of sight. Because it was freezing I got up and asked for another table, which was on the other side of the wall with all the other customers and much warmer even with the patio bar doors open. No, I don't remember my waiters name, but he came over immediately and apologized for us being stranded in the back. We went on to order our drinks which came fairly quickly and we ordered our food. I was kind of disappointed because he said they no longer served fried crab legs and should be taken off the menu, but that's OK. I was ready to order something else. I had Chef Mo's Shrimp & Grits and when I say it's the best shrimp and grits I've ever had in my life. It was amazing. The grits were three cheese grits with crawfish, étouffée, and large perfectly shrimp with some BOMB jalapeño beef sausage, which I would have removed, but I said let's do it. Best decision I've ever made. I cannot stop thinking about the grits. My friend ordered the Cajun fried fish and grits with a side of eggs (no pic). We both raved the entire time about how creamy and delicious the grits were. I didn't need to add anything, no butter, no salt, no sugar. They were absolutely amazing and I'm not even a huge grits fan. Now, the fish, the menu stated half a pound, which came out to be one small piece of whiting. I guess I was expecting a bigger piece or maybe two pieces because it was so tiny but that baby filet was seasoned to the gods, I mean perfect. The breading was so flavorful but not overpowering or salty. The eggs tasted like the eggs I had in the marines out of a bag, but he mix them with the grits and was fine. Everything was so good that we thought about coming back later that night to try something else. Please bring back the deep-fried crab legs

Due to the busyness of the restaurant and the size of our party, it took a minute for our food and drinks to come out. One of my dining companions didn't get one of her sides. Her drink came out as we were getting the check. The salmon was wonderful and cooked to perfection. The paired sauce wasn't too overwhelming; although, I don't recall tasting much crab. The mashed potatoes were great as was the kale. I didn't need the hot honey and requested it on the side. I think the portions were of nice size, the sides are shareable. I do wish that the mains came with a side, rather than everything being à la carte, but that won't stop me from returning to try something else...perhaps during the week to avoid the crowd.
