This restaurant recently opened. I stopped for carry out. The hostess was friendly and greeted me as I walked in. There we a few patrons there but closer to 4 pm lots of people started coming in for dinner. I ordered fried catfish, shrimp and fries. I ordered sides of hush puppies, corn, and coleslaw. I decided to try the key lime pie. I enjoyed all of the food we ordered. I also ordered, what's listed on the menu as, shrimp salad. I'm really glad I looked through my bags before I left. What I got was fried shrimp on top of a garden salad. This is NOT shrimp salad. I had them take it back and refund the amount of the salad. The bar is not open yet. The hostess shared that they expect the bar to open in early May. The inside was well lit, clean and nicely decorated. There are flat screens all over the place. There is also a digital Ami Jukebox near the bar. I was a little disappointed that the bar wasn't open yet. But I will definitely return. read more

We had the fried oyster and fried catfish platters. It was good fried food and probably not all that healthy for you, but it was prepared well and tasted good. Had hush puppies, sweet potato fries and cole slaw for sides, all flavorful. The ambiance, the restaurant itself has potential. Food was excellent, I recommend the snow crabs and the shrimp...but don't under estimate the sausage! Ambiance is the best you can find in Clinton, with nice video features and plenty of TVs to watch the games.::I counted 11! Crab tastes very old. Not fresh. Waited an extra 15-20 minutes in my car because I received no message that my take out was ready.

We stopped here because my granddaughter wanted a seafood boil. We were seated quickly. This visit took place on the first Saturday in January, when it was raining pretty good. So there really wasn't a big crowd in the restaurant. I mention this because it did seem to take awhile to get a server. So, that was a little disappointing. My wife wanted to order the king crab legs seafood boil. The server was gracious enough to let her know that it's only two crab legs (the half pound boil for those two king crab legs was close to $50, so she passed). My granddaughter had the combo snow crabs/headless shrimp boil and she loved it. The drinks were pretty good, a little on the strong side but tolerable. My granddaughter asked for a crab cracker because a few of the crab legs were too big for her to break (she's 10). So, the server brings the crab cracker. When we were ready for the check, the server said that if we were through with the crab cracker, she would take it back and remove it from the check Yeah...I had the same look! Evidently, customers steal the crab crackers (which cost $3 each), so the restaurant basically puts a deposit on your check until you turn the crab cracker back in. THAT was a first for me. So, I paid the check. Prior to leaving, I had to use the restroom. The most awful smell! It literally smelled like raw sewage! Absolutely disgusting! Would I go back? Not until I can verify that the sewage problem is fixed. Definitely have to do better. read more

I have had takeout cajun crab legs before and they were good. This time we decided to dine in. My first impression was the awful state of the restrooms. My husband used the male, I used the female and we both came back to the table saying OMG this is bad. The Waitress Ashley was amazing and when we complained to her about the lack of "cajun" in our order she said she would let the Chef know. She was friendly and attentive. My last visit has left a bad taste in my mouth but I hope that for the price of the food, Management can take a look at making the place more customer friendly and clean. My friends and I visited this new location for the first time on Friday 7 July. Once walking into the location, you were met with the greeting of the day (which is a big thing to me). She was very nice, actually pretty nice. The place was really nice and clean and It wasn't super busy at all. We were the largest party in the room totaling 9; this was our friend's 35th birthday and we were like, let the celebration begin. The waitress came over to the table to take drink orders, which didn't take long to get....BUTTTTTTTTT 1 hour later I'm sitting at our table with an empty glass. Even the pitcher of courtesy water was empty. She came back over to take the orders for food, but we weren't ready. In the midst of her asking if we were ready to order, when my friends looked down, the young lady shook her hands at the table like, you want something or not. Definitely the wrong attitude; I just happened to catch it as I was waiting my turn. So, I told her we weren't ready but asked if we could order more drinks. She came back with 2 beers but forgot my Pepsi and the water refills. We ordered our food, which came out really quick. It was good too; there was no complaints at the table about the food. But once again, the table ran out of drinks and in need of refreshing, our waitress was actually sitting down on the other side of the room not attending to us. I walked over to ask for so more drinks, water, and the eggs that I ordered that weren't present with my food. She went to get the eggs and came back to the table swinging them. Why would you ever do anything like that with someone's food they are going to eat? Asking for a friend. Its like you're playing with my food. Not to mention, the table went to the bar to get their own drinks because of how slow she was moving. I mean when you include the tip of 18% (mandatory for large parties) shouldn't we receive at least decent service? This MANDATORY tip allowed her to address us when and how she felt like it, and that is NOT ok. I feel like some of the things we shouldn't have needed to ask her for. And to add insult to injury, crab legs were ordered and it wasn't made known to an additional fee would come with the metal seafood crackers used. Overall, my experience was unsatisfactory.
