First of all we found the menu confusing...........we had the fried shrimp basket$12.99. Pretty good but lots of breading.....fried catfish basket $12.99 was good......gumbo $4.99 was good.....clams $6.99 and green mussels combo $7.99 in a lemon pepper sauce was not good...clams were dried out and the sauce had tons of salt ....well everything seemed to have a lot of salt.....we were drinking water all night......I can see how people might like this restaurant but, it was a big letdown for us....we will not be back..... read more

Ordered a seafood boil and right before I was about to eat, a huge roach crawled across my shoulder and up my face. My friend and I were obviously disgusted and in shock. I recommend this business only because I am a seafood lover and the seafood was good. Anyways, upon entering I was greeted at the door with some woman and her child running out of the door and speeding off. Shortly after, another woman did the same this time right after she got in the car with her child a waiter ran out to get her tag number, but he gave up... Later that evening we realized a possible reason this could have even happened. The service was bad but not completely horrible. We waited 35 minutes before we even got our drinks. The waitress decided to first bring the beers forgetting the soda and water we ordered. People at other tables were highly frustrated as they were waiting long periods of time for service, food, and even one couple to pay. The employees were seen in the kitchen carrying on loud conversations, twerking, and on their phones. However, our food came out fine. The sauce was on point. A bit more spicy than normal, but I like it that way. I would recommend the Fort Lauderdale location if you fancy a decent dining experience though. read more

The service was great but the food was horrible. We order shrimp pasta and the noodles was not done they were hard. My husband got sick after he ate some of the pasta. We tried out the Crafty Crab and were pleasantly surprised. We had the hush puppies which were good. Also had a boil with medium spice and king crab, headless shrimp, potatoes and corn. My husband had mild spice with lobster and shrimp. The king crab was expensive at 53 a lb but it was worth it. Big chunks of meat. Ask for a little fork and drawn butter. My husband also had the key lime pie which he liked. We will come here again. read more

It was fabulous from the warm welcome to our fabulous server Cesar. Cesar took the time to explain the best way to order which was very helpful since it was our first time dining there. Cesar even was kind enough to share his had sanitizer with us. We started with a dozen oysters, followed by Crawfish, shrimp, corn on the cob, potatoes and coleslaw. This place took over the Red Lobster that was here. I loved it! My date and I had the crab legs and shrimp boil, mild, and mixed all the flavors. SO GOOD! Our server was prompt, kind, and knowledgeable. The potatoes in the boil were delicious and my date loved the corn. Highly recommend for local seafood boil. I don't know what happened because I used to really enjoy ordering from here but, twice now, I've ordered a crawfish and shrimp boil and both times the boom sauce came extremely watery, tasteless and the shrimp and crawfish were not cleaned properly. Aside from that, some of my crawfish tasted like chemical or ammonia which means they are definitely not fresh. The potatoes were past their prime, the only decent thing was the corn. read more

This location is hands down the best seafood boil I've ever had, and is head and shoulders above any other Crafty Crab location. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars I would do so in a heartbeat. Our waiter was Sergio and he was fantastic all around. He waited us right away, was extremely nice, and knew exactly when we needed new drinks/gloves/etc. This was all while the restaurant was packed, so to see this great level of service was pleasantly surprising. Not only was he of great service to us, but also showed the same level of service to every other table he served (he had a full section). I ordered the oysters and calamari for apps, which came out in less than 10 minutes. Then I got their snow crab, Dungeness crab, crawfish, sausage, and potatoes. All which came out in under 20 minutes, and it was simply amazing. I would recommend going here to anyone for a fair priced and tasty seafood boil. read more

Oooof. You can say the Crafty Crab and I are going steady now after dining here three weekends in a row. My husband is all about seafood boils...I also enjoy them, but when asked what I want to eat, you'll never catch me asking for this kind of food. It's messy and based on our past and frequent experiences, the food takes foreverrrr to come out. Not worth it in my book. Anytime we're trying to figure out where to go, and he mentions a seafood boil place (we would usually go to the spot across from the guitar hotel, or some other place in Doral) I alwayssss suggest someplace else. However, on a recent trip to the falls, we noticed Crafty Crab right across the street and decided to try it. Y'all. This place is worth getting messy over. The food is amazing, the service is friendly and quick, and the interior is really cute. First seafood boil place that I actually find myself wanting to go back to. 10/10 for sure. read more

I have been here twice and loved it both times!! The food is delicious and the service is great. Waiters and staff are very friendly. I ordered 1/2 lb. headless shrimp with 1/2 lbs. crayfish. This last time, I tried the mixed seasoning, mild, and it had just the right amount of kick to it. We also had a drink called a watermelon kiss. We visited the Crafty Crab for a birthday celebration and had a great experience. Food is delicious, seafood reasonably priced and the staff is super friendly. Since this was our first visit we had many questions and our waitress patiently answered all and gave suggestions that did not disappoint.
