I leave one star not for the food, and not for the service. I HOPE EVERYONE SEES THIS... I run a bar in Hollywood... and I know how important tips are for service industry employees. The employees of this establishment told me tonight on 2 different occasions that they DONT GET ANY TIPS left oncredit card/tap transactions, only cash. All tips left go to the house/ownership, and I myself left a substantial tip. These people worked so hard tonight and I assume every night, to get the job done for the patrons. Pretty rough experience. Ordered food for lunch for me and a coworker to pick up. It took over half an hour to get the food - I don't know if they lost the order or what - and when I got back to work, they forgot the cream cheese for my coworker's bagel, and the jalepenos for her omelette. There was either no cheese or verrrrry little cheese on my breakfast burrito - it tasted mostly of dry potatoes with a couple chunks of sausage scattered in there. I love how casual this place is. We were here for a long meeting and it felt so comfortable and safe to do it here. We ordered at the cash register but you can order via the kiosk too. Food came out in less than 10 min! While the service, location, and vibe of the place was great, I wasn't entirely happy with the breakfast crepe. Maybe it's because I wasn't really hungry but it didn't have a ton of flavor. I'm down to come back and try some more dishes though! read more

I'm rather bummed about this place, since their menu looked really appetizing. I had ordered a turkey panini and while I was hungry enough to scarf it down, it arrived to my table on the colder side and while I had asked for it to have mozzerella in it, there was none to be found. To accompany the food I had a strawberry smoothie such was okay, and probably the best thing about my meal, since I had also ordered a red velvet cookie that had a lackluster texture but workable. I personally believe that for what I ordered, nothing was really worth the price either which is rare of me to say. I'm not eager to give this place a second visit, but I'm sure that even the best restaurants have an off day. I will need to visit another day when the opportunity strikes. read more

Baked goods such as muffins, cheesecake, cookies, croissants. Coffee and tea is a must when at Crave. Customer service is poor here, either they are overworked or they just don't care. Been coming to Crave for 3 years now and it has to be one of my fave spots! The variety of food they offer is delicious, the service is good, and not to mention it's open for 24 hours on most days! My go to is always the Chicken Cesar with side of fries (side note: french fries here are the best i've had in my life) it's a big portion and definitely gets you full. The coffee is also amazing here just how I like it. I will say the prices are a bit high, usually would spend $30-40 if it's a salad, fries, and a drink. It is considered a "normal" price in Studio City now but def be aware that it isn't cheap! Overall, a very good cafe that I love going to. Tried: beet salad with add on chicken and a red velvet cupcake Good: friendly service and good beet salad Bad: the add-on chicken was room temperature, dry and terribly too seasoned. I'm guessing it was batch cooked this morning or yesterday, definitely not fresh and just too salty. For a side order of protein the seasoning should be universal enough that it can go with anything. This probably should've been served with a bit of rice and steamed vegetables, the flavor on it did not go well with the flavors of beet salad and balsamic. In fact, I couldn't choke the last pieces down and had to give it to my dog whose only bar for leftovers is pretty low. The person who brought my carry out order was friendly, but misread the ticket and tried to give me a red velvet cookie instead of a red velvet cupcake. I should've accepted the cookie because the cupcake was so dry and hard it was probably made 2-3 days ago. I was there at 9:30 at night so I can understand that some things in the display counter are not going to be completely fresh but rock hard is not ok. I've only been here once before, for breakfast and everything I ordered was made to order so maybe that's the way to go... I'll ask next time before ordering read more

How the heck did I miss out on this place for so long? Well, I guess I was too busy zeroing in on Chop Stop a door or so down, but I guess I became distracted by Crave on a recent visit.. There was a kiosk for ordering outside but screw it, I just went inside and was immediately face to face with a lot of really appealing pastries. Took willpower, but I took a menu as I stood in a small line. While waiting, I took a look around and there is an adequate amount of seating, majority which was filled. Lots were on laptops and in parties of two or more. I figure a lot of them were actually college students in groups, catching up and studying. When I was up, I finally decided on the chicken breast entree with rice, vegetables, and honey mustard sauce, with a caesar salad over the other choices of house salad and soup. Cashier was very helpful, and I didn't have too long to wait for the order. Although I requested it to-go, I actually didn't make it onto the sidewalk as I grabbed a seat outside and enjoyed my food. It was fairly late out, but it wasn't chilly (even without the heat lamps), and it was an enjoyable meal. I did pick out the broccoli from the vegetable portion that consisted of the aforementioned and carrots (I demolished those though). Rice was good, and there was a large amount of chicken. There were two honey mustards included which I was happy about since I cleared both of them. I ended up finishing the salad the following day and it was a really good caesar; plenty of croutons and parmesan cheese. All I/we can say is WOW. We live here in the Valley now for so long and never heard of this absolutely awesome place. My spouse and I were shopping and looking for somewhere to have some lunch and we spotted this place. Since my spouse is vegan. We noticed all the great vegan options for him. And of course all the rest of the so many items they have on their menu. We went to the counter. A young, very friendly guy took our order. Answered any questions we had. We sat outside and a very charming server ( waitress) brought our food. I just LOVED her mentality. Happy, welcoming. Obviously, she loves her job and customers. And I loved her wonderful positive attitude and her great make-up ( eyeliner). She is so pretty. Sorry, I had to add this. :) The food was fantastic. My spouse is not always very happy with the vegan option in regular restaurants. He just loved his vegan " beef" burrito. And my burger with fries was out of this world. Btw. one of the best fries I had in a long time. Also the tiramisu, I could have had several of them. Last night we went, again. It was a bit crowded. So we sat inside. Since it was too cold to be outside. Lots of younger people. But we really didn't feel out of place as "baby boomers". Everybody was quite cool. My spouse ordered this time a vegan chicken burrito. We had a hummus plate with vegetables as an appetizer and I had grilled chicken breast with roasted potatoes and salad. I loved all of it. But there was so much more I wanted to try.
