Avocado Toast with side of scrambled egg.

Came here based on Yelp! Reviews and wasn't disappointed. It's not upscale or particularly much on ambiance but the food is solid. I chose the avocado toast and added some scrambled egg on the side. Unique combo of grilled tomatoes, sautéed spinach and chipotle mayo .. but it works. Really good. Coffee was decent too (surprisingly I've been to breakfast places that have bad coffee). Service was polite and fairly quick given that they aren't "fast" food. I will come back to try lunch sometime.

The food is so delicious and made fresh! The staff is always friendly as well. Unfortunately, the family meals I would give 1 star. They used to be incredible, but we had the king ranch chicken and it was practically all sauce. The flavor was great but there wasn't really any food in it, which is sad because they used to be so great.

This place is a must!! In the area my girlfriend stated she tried this place before and loved it so I decided to give it a shot. There is parking all around the business and it is easy to find. Once inside, we were quickly greeted with smiles, and the hostess was very knowledgeable of the menu. She gave us the run-through of all the popular items and they even had Military discount. my girlfriend ended up ordering the envy sandwich with the soup. And I ended up ordering the club sandwich with pesto pasta. I ended up also ordering the Keylime pie, the strawberry cupcake and a peanut butter cookie. After we were seated, our order came out quick and looked amazing. It even tasted better! Everything was so delicious and mouthwatering. I even told the employee that I will definitely be back to try other options. I even stated that their cupcake was even even better than 2 Tarts! She was shocked and stated she was going to inform the employee that made it. So if you ever in town and want an amazing sandwich spot, this is definitely it. Amazing food, amazing taste, and amazing prices! I can't wait to come back to try other sandwiches and other sweets!

Food was great but I'm feel a little deceived from Cravings. Was charged $.75 to cut my sandwich in half. I wouldn't have asked if I had known it was a charge. Also being charged for this split and then they didn't even split the pesto pasta and we had to do it ourselves? Was also upcharged for the pesto pasta when it is not stated that it's an upcharge on the menu. This picture of the menu suggests you have an option of either for the same price. Again- food was good but adding an extra $1.50 to my bill when those things could have easily been mentioned about an additional fee doesn't sit right. If they change the wording on the menu I'd be quite happy to return!

Nice little Lunch spot in New Braunfels. I had the Envy sandwich ( turkey with Swiss cheese, spinach and grilled onions) . It came with a choose of pasta salad, soup, or fruit. I had the soup, which was a tasty tortilla soup. I also got a dessert. They a a wide selection of pies, cakes, and cupcakes. I got a Mississippi mud cupcake which was very delicious. Nice place, good service, and delicious food for a reasonable price. You can't ask for much more. I highly recommend

This is a small, very busy spot for lunch. It gets very crowded and it is hard to talk and hear because it gets pretty loud. We had the club sandwich and were disappointed that it came on a bun rather than bread. I see on the online menu that you have the choice of bread - but we weren't asked which we wanted when we ordered. The sandwich was good, but not as thick as I generally expect from a club. We also had the chicken salad on a croissant. It was tasty. The best part was the chocolate cake we shared for a birthday. It was moist and fudgy. The unsweetened raspberry tea was also good. Customers should know the bathroom facilities are in the back of the building. Unfortunately on my visit, the ladies toilet would not flush.

Tiny, little walk up sandwich shop/bakery. There are some tables outside if you would like to eat there, but I have always gotten my food to go. I have only had the Envy sandwich served with the soup of the day. Every time, it has been delicious. Try it! You will not be disappointed. read more

Great find; fellow Yelpers did not let me down! The atmosphere is quaint and makes you feel like you're eating at your mom's house. Baked goods galore, including delicious key lime pie, various cupcakes, and a FIVE POUND apple pie available for Thanksgiving feasting. I had their signature sandwich, the "Envy". The turkey is sauteed up and served on a soft sweet bun with their special sauce, cheese, and lots of healthy spinach. It was delicious! Good selection of side orders too. The staff is wonderful. There was some confusion as to whether or not they had added mustard to my friend's sandwich (my friend wasn't even concerned about it), and they brought us slices of spice cake as an apology! Very very sweet ladies who are willing to go out of their way to make their customers happy. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely stop in for lunch! read more

I consistently order the spinach wrap, and it never gets old. A friendly little shop that has been in the business since 2010, and for as long as it has been open, I have never heard this place get a bad rap. I have to attest to the deliciousness of the envy as well, their signature sandwich --- it truly is an amazing sandwich --- I, as well as anyone working there, would recommend this for first-timers. A little on the pricey side for modestly-sized wraps/sandwiches, but very well worth it. read more

I loved this place! Went there for the first time today. Got a club sandwich with a side of fruit (loved that that had that as an option.) My sandwich was AMZING. Seriously, it was so good. Also, the two sides of crackers they give you are great! My sister bought some to take home. I also got a chocolate chip cookie! Delicious! Looking forward to going back. :) read more

The "ENVY." Probably my favorite-est sandwich I've ever had. What more needs to be said? Wellll, then again, this WAS my first time. So I'm sure there will be plenty more good things to say as I make my way through their menu because everything about my lunch was delicious. The pasta salad had pesto, pine nuts, and peas. It was awesome. So too were the firecrackers and the pickles. Their cookies were just good, but I hear their other deserts are fantastic! And everyone in the Cravings Crew were all really nice and very personable (and pretty). It was so good, I'm going back tomorrow already. read more

I have stopped by twice now. I have not been disappointed. The food is delicious, homemade, and unique to say the least. There is no questioning why this business has recieved numerous awards. The chicken salad on the crispy soft croissant is my favorite. My son and husband had the Rueben. My son asked me the next day, " Can I get another Rueben". Oh, and let me not forget about the peanut butter cookies!!. Large, perfect and divine!. read more

Been to Cravings at least six or seven times now. The BLTA is my favorite but the Club is also very good as is the Chicken salad wrap. Their soups and salads are also usually very good to excellent. My 15 yo really likes the the Bob Willis ... my wife and daugthers love the BLTA and soups and salads. Overall, a great little sandwich shop. (I haven't been for breakfast yet but if I do I will update this review) read more

I was so happy to see this place take over such a great spot. This used to be Granzins Bar B Q! Hard shoes to fill and great establishment to stay in business at this location. Everything is made daily, fresh ingredients, daily specials, amazing Raspberry tea! The paninis and salads are delish.;) Firecracker crackers are a must. read more

We've driven by this place for years and finally tried out out. So glad we did... Best sandwich spot EVER!! Just tried the Envy and B.L.T.A... so, so good. They were extremely accommodating and friendly as I called in an order moments before they closed and they took it no problem. Very friendly staff and excellent food. We will be back! Key lime pie and chocolate cupcake were delicious too. Don't pass this one up! read more

Cute little local sandwich shop with interesting options. Had the Chicken Pesto sandwich with Broccoli Cheese soup. Sandwich was good but the bun to chicken ratio was far off...didn't need at least 1/3 of the bun. The mayo and tomato juices made quite a mess as well but the flavor was delicious. The broccoli cheese soup was Broccoli/Parmesan with unmelted pieces of parm in there which might have been by design but I didn't care for it...flavor was okay ...thin soup. I would eat here again if someone else wanted to but I won't seek it out. read more

This is hands down one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. They didn't have many vegetarian options but the one they did have (the Alisha) was just phenomenal. Went here because they have gluten free bread for $1.5 extra, the service is fast and friendly, only two complaints is their gluten free bread doesn't hold up and they put saltine crackers on my plate. Great mom and pop shop to help support! read more

Wow! I'm almost afraid to give this another wonderful review....I don't want others to enjoy my most favorite lunch spot!! The food is incredible, it literally leaves you "craving" for more. We've tried every sandwich and love them all. The pasta salad is delicious. The broccoli salad is to die for. The firecrackers are spectacular. Gosh I love this place!! They have gluten free bread and that's all I needed to know! I had visited once a couple of years prior to learning of my gluten allergy and prior to moving to NB and loved it. So hearing that they are accommodating to those with gluten sensitivities was really exciting. Great prices, great services, GREAT sandwiches, and their bread and butter pickles are to die for (this coming from a strictly dill pickle girl)!! read more

Saw the menu while visiting New Braunsfel this week, but were too late to eat. The variety of sandwiches was so inviting, hubby and I came back the next day. Great customer service, fantastic Reuben, fresh Whole Wheat Wrap with Turkey, avocado, tomatoes, spinach, Ranch dressing, a delicious squash soup, firecrackers (could have eaten 8 more!) and such flavorful ice tea! Prices were reasonable and we look forward to coming back! read more

Hubby and I had an early lunch here. My whole wheat wrap was so fresh and tasty. Loved the side pesto pasta. Could have eaten a big plate of that. Hubby enjoyed his Philly Steak sandwich. He said the meat was super high quality and melted in his mouth. Will definitely go back when we are back in town. read more

Stopped here for lunch today. It was fantastic! Service was great and all of the ingredients were fresh with made from scratch bread. Yum! I had the Plain Jane plus avocado with the pesto pasta, my husband had the club. The sandwiches were stuffed with ingredients and toasted just right. We WILL be back! read more

Cute little place. Really deserving of 3 1/2 stars, but I couldn't go to four. Our sandwiches and wraps were tasty, if a little long in arriving. I liked that they heated the wrap after it was filled, giving it the slightest of crunch. I would definitely stop in again for a quick bite. read more

Just randomly thinking of Cravings. I live in Houston now and I haven't been here in a few years. They are only open on weekends (verify this). I asked myself would take a day off to go to New Braunfels in order to get one of their sandwhiches. Tough call, but the answer is yes. It was burnt, with a layer of black under the breading, and tasted like it had been overcooked to the point of being charred. There is no way the kitchen did not see how dark it was before serving it. That said, his sides were still great, so at least part of the meal was enjoyable. Our friend's chicken sandwich was not terrible, but it did not taste fresh like it used to. It felt more like something frozen and heavily breaded instead of the quality we had experienced before. One positive was the service. Our server was wonderful, and the rest of the staff was kind and attentive as well. I accidentally spilled my drink right after it arrived, and they were quick and gracious to replace it even though it was completely my fault. That was very much appreciated. The other issue that really took away from the experience was the atmosphere. Halfway through our meal, a large group of adults sat in the courtyard and had their children sit separately at a table right next to us, while their parents remained in another section of the patio. The kids were clearly having fun and playing games, which is great, but they were also very loud and screaming just a foot away from our table while their parents enjoyed quiet drinks elsewhere. There were completely open sections of the patio farther away where they could have sat, so it was frustrating that they were placed right next to the only other table of adults trying to enjoy a night out. It ended up being very disruptive and took away from what we had hoped would be a relaxing evening. Overall, I was really disappointed. This used to be a place I highly recommended, but after this visit it feels like the quality and attention to detail have slipped. I truly hope they can get back to what made them so great before.

Fresh food that tastes amazing! My favorite is the "Aleisha" sandwich. I am a vegetarian, and this sandwich is one of the best in town. I love that Cravings offers a variety of vegetarian options (not just a simple salad or simple steamed veggies). My husband loves their firecrackers. There are also really quick with to go orders.
