Cravings is a great, laid back place to get lunch. The employees are friendly and the food comes out quickly even when it is busy. I love their salads and the sandwiches I've had are awesome too. Both the indoor and outdoor dining spaces are on the small side but there is plenty of parking behind the building. If kids aren't your thing be forewarned that Cravings is very popular with young families as it is down the street from the children's museum. read more

First time here. It will not bet last. Had half Envy sandwich with cup of soup. The soup was a version of king ranch chicken. It was a bit brothy, not thick at all. I enjoyed it. I want to like this place I really do. It's right by my house, they have a drive thru. Today I waited 11 minutes to get a small soup - chicken enchilada and small sandwich - the envy. The envy is good but not mind blowing and the soup sucked. I think it might have been ground chicken? I really don't even know if it was chicken the pieces were so tiny. Great little place that is a nice option over fast food. Incredibly annoying that it is not open on the weekends, especially during the summer-you're missing out on a lot of business. Staff always seems annoyed, no one really smiles, which is a little odd, especially at the drive thru window, but food is amazing. read more

My experience at Cravings was less than ideal. First of all, we waited 30 minutes for a chicken wrap and 2 soup/chicken salad combos while everyone around us got their food in 10 minutes or less. Then when we asked about our food, we were brushed off by a rude lady and it turns out they hadn't even begun to grill the chicken yet. The employees all had a different excuse for why our food wasn't done and wouldn't just admit our order had gotten lost. We also received no apology for the delay. Once I got my food, my wrap was made incorrectly with tomato (I had asked for no tomato) and only one crumble of bacon on the whole thing. The pasta salad was nothing but cold spaghetti with some pesto on it. The pesto itself was pretty good, but not on spaghetti noodles. I will not be coming back. read more

Everything is freshly made, they are friendly and professional every time I have been there, and the food is just amazing. There is a wonderful covered patio out front for when the weather is nice. Just moved to the area and we had Cravings today for lunch for the first time. It was spectacular! I had the Alisha, which is an all vegetable sandwich. It was so good that even my husband, who loves meat on everything, gave it the thumbs up. The pasta salad is also delicious, and the fruit was very fresh. The place is small, but that's obviously the idea behind it. I'd go early when they first open, or as a later lunch, but I suspect it's always pretty busy because it's amazing. Lastly, all their stuff is made from scratch and my son and I shared the red velvet cupcake. It was probably the best red velvet cupcake I've ever had...ever. My friend and I decided to have lunch yesterday, and originally decided on Olive's Italian Market, but found it closed. So we ventured on to find somewhere new, that we had never been to before. We were very nicely greeted when we walked in. The lady behind the counter was very good and thorough explaining their menu and what were the most popular sandwiches. I went with the Envy and my friend had the Reuben. I got chips and she got the Pesto Pasta salad. She insisted that I have a bite to try and boy, am I glad I did! That is out of this world yummmmmmmmmm! I cannot wait to go back and get more. I think I'm addicted. Both sandwiches were very good. We sat outside with beautiful weather and had a great lunch. Whoa.I've always wanted to try this place but it was just a lil' too expensive for my taste-(about $8 for Sandwich-and I think 2 lil' sides are included in that), but so glad we finally did. It was a few months ago, just didn't get around to writing this til' now. I believe I had the Chicken Pesto sandwich and it was Great! I know it seems like how could this plain looking' lil' sandwich be that good, but oh yea baby it was. It's all about the flavaaaa. And with the lil' sides you get, it was just a perfect amount to tide you over just right. Not that heavy full, but just RIGHT. I believe it was the Rueben combo our other got and said it was equally as impressive. They were giving out lil' pumpkin pie shooters and another pie, like samples and I'm glad cause I see that their desserts are really good too. This is a nice lil' joint. I'm vegan now and trying' to eat more raw food for health, so I hope they, or someone around here does more Raw food, or some really cool artsy type of Vegan food, sorta like Vegeria in San Antonio, but even more. read more

My husband and I tried Cravings out today for lunch. I had a gluten free Envy!! This was the first sandwich I've eaten in a restaurant in close to 4 years! Delicious!!!! One of the challenges with ordering gluten free bread, is that I also cannot eat corn, which is a common ingredient with gluten free foods. The owner who took our order was very friendly and helpful. While my husband and I reviewed the menu choices on the chalk board, she quickly went to check on the ingredients in the bread. After we ordered we received our food within 5 minutes of ordering. There is seating outside and in. If you have a larger party you may want to pick a day you can sit outside. The restaurant may be small in size but is big on charm and FLAVOR! My husband also ordered the Envy (glutenful version) and had the pasta salad as a side. He really enjoyed the pesto and his sandwich as well. I cannot wait to come back and try something new.
