A lot of pho places serve broth that tastes watered down, but this was the complete opposite..you could taste the depth in every spoonful. I also ordered the macaroni shaken beef, which was equally delicious. It came with a slightly vinegary dipping sauce that complemented the beef perfectly and honestly took the whole dish to another level They even have banana-flavored soju, which I had never seen before! Decided to switch up our Vietnamese restaurant rotation. The netted egg rolls were what motivated this dine in. Very crispy egg rolls, but little filling. Felt as if I were eating just the shell. I ordered a Pho with rare and flank. I arrived around 1pm, there was no line to get a table and more than enough seats outside. The pho broth was good but the meat quality wasn't good :( The meat was dry, overcooked and crumbly. They did play really good kpop music and was quiet enough to have a conversation. A solid 3.5 star but bumping to 4 because of their attentive service and a clean vibrant environment. I was pleasantly surprised that they serve broken white rice as many restaurants pulled away from their menus. The beef rib pho was 3/5. The broth could use a little bit more work (perhaps less diluted and more time simmering). The grilled pork chop rice plate looked great from a presentation standpoint but the chops were toooo thinnly sliced, making them a bit dried and tough to chew. Otherwise, the flavors were spot on. I went there for lunch on Aug 29, 2026. It was a group of 2. Their pho was good. The shaking beef and garlic egg noodle was terrible. Beef was not tender. The worst was Egg garlic noodle has no garlic flavor, and not made with egg noodle. I told the girl yours made with white noodle and she argued that was egg noodle. It smells delicious as soon as you walk in and even better tasting. I am not sure when, but this place quickly became one of my favorite spots in Vietnam town. I've tried several items on their menu, like the Salt Roasted Squid, Fried Chicken Cartilage with Fish Sauce, Fried Rice, Pho, and Bun Bo Hue, but my absolute favorite is the Fried Chicken Rice Plate with Fish Sauce. The others are good, but this rice plate is on another level. Definitely very flavorful and delicious. It's heavy on the fish sauce, so if you're not used to Vietnamese fish sauce, it might be a bit strong/quite overpowering for your palate. If I had one tiny thing: the prices are a bit on the higher side compared to some other pho places in the area. But given the quality and the experience, I still think it's worth it. Additionally, the service here is great. Nice and friendly group of people. It's a family-run place, so it has a really homey, comfortable vibe. They're not fancy or over the top, but they make sure you have what you need. Overall, I definitely recommend this place! The first few times we came to the Vietnam Town area, we wanted to stop by the famous Pho Hanoi and California Bakehouse as per recommendations from locals. But when those spots had a huge line out the door, we opted for Pho This Way instead and were pleasantly surprised. There wasn't too many people in the restaurant when we got seated. The restaurant has a cute little space and was very orderly and clean. The staff was attentive to us and got us started with ordering pretty quickly. We orderd the Pho Suon Bo (beef rib) and Pho Ap Chao (crispy fried pho). The pho broth was nice and rich with a solid amount of food albeit still somewhat expensive at the price point or arouond $17-$18. The pho ap chao was surprisingly good - it can be quite a hit or miss depending on the restaurant. I really like when places deep fry thicker cut noodles as they can get really crispy while still holding gravy sauce and the veggies/protein well. Pho This Way is a solid choice in the sprawling shopping center of Vietnam Town for anyone coming through for a visit. read more

The dry part comes with pho noodles, a sweet mix sauce, meat, peanuts, and other vegetables. In addition it also comes with broth, meat, and beef ball. I've ordered it several times before, and the portion was always enough for about two people. This time, the portion wasn't enough for even one person. The fresh noodles were mushy and not chewy. Pho ap chao gion - not edible here. It was stale and not crispy. The beef they used was tai, so it was dry and lean. I see a lot of fake 5 star reviews here. Note to the owner, spend less time writing fake reviews and more time training their chef and controlling food quality.
