We came for the soufflé pancakes and they did not disappoint. They were light and airy as expected and I like the variety of different flavors available for them. I only wish the side portions were a little bigger for the price being charged. Also, I love that they have a little fluffy guy to admire at the front of the restaurant!

Very cute breakfast/brunch spot with cottage village aesthetics. I came on a Friday morning with 5 others. We entered through the front arch, walked down the cobblestone, up the stairs, and waited in front of the sliding doors. Someone greeted us at the doors and brought us inside to the long center table. We ordered the Rum Caramel French Toast, Blueberry Lemon Souffle Pancakes, and Original Souffle Pancakes to share as a group. Between my bf and I, we ordered the Burgundy Beef Stew Omelet Rice to share. The french toast was fluffy, soft, and yummy. The pancakes were also very fluffy and bouncy. Flavor wise, they tasted more eggy than pancake. I thought they would taste like regular pancakes but "fluffier" or airy. However, this was my first time trying souffle pancakes, so I didn't really know what to expect. The beef stew omelet rice was good. Flavor and portion size were good. The beef was tender and wasn't super chewy. Overall, we had a good experience here. It was definitely expensive with each pancake being about $30. I think it was good to try once.

Walked in with no res, got sat right away. me and wife got the monthly specials, one benedict and one french toast. Food was mid-par, service was bare minimum. your usual "what would you like" "here's your food" "here's the check" and boom auto grad 20% on the bill after that. NEARLY $100 FOR BREAKFAST THAT DIDNT AMAZE ME NOR WAS THE SERVICE GOOD?! I don't know what these other reviews are talking about, maybe i'm not a millionaire like the rest of these reviewers but $100 for bread, fruit, salad, and a little piece of meat... Will never come back. To be fair me and wife was talking in Japanese, so they must of assumed Japanese people don't tip and put auto grad on only Japanese peoples bills? i'm sure that's pretty illegal as well. Overall, food was mid, service is mid, Ambiance is nice, Restaurant billing system is in gray area of legality.... do I recommend to come here? only if you're a millionaire and not Japanese. Absurd

Got the strawberry souffle and an omlette. The souffle was light, fluffy, yet filling and delicious. The omlette was above average. Wouldve liked it to be a bit more savory. Overall it is a bit pricey but what blew me away most was the ambiance of the place! Truly a cottage like vibe despite being near/in Waikiki. Personally to me that was worth the visit to this place! Definitely recommend if u havent been before

Banana rum caramel French toast and poached eggs

Third visit here, still wonderful. It was early, so no line, which was nice. The banana French toast with rum caramel was delicious. The French toast was fluffy and none of it was undersoaked and dry or overcooked. The caramel sauce was beautiful and there were enough banana slices to make it nice without being overwhelming. The service was great, as always. On my phone map app, it did not mention that they do take tap to pay but they do

    Strawberry soufflé pancakes

My husband and I came here for breakfast, we were impressed because we had immediately been sat. We ordered the strawberry soufflé pancakes and the banana soufflé pancakes, a small plate of bacon and an orange juice. The bacon was COLD. AND THE BILL WAS $96!!!! NINETY SIX DOLLARS! For breakfast!! For 2 people!! Did the math the total of our food was $60!! But the waitress said that 20% gratuity was added on and hawaii state tax. $12 tip? $14 state tax? We havent paid that much at any restaurant when there were 4 of us and we have been here for 7 days already. BS! Find a different place to eat unless you dont mind paying $100 for mediocre pancakes. EDIT: went to dinner and got an actual receipt (not handwritten) where it shows the tax, tax is ~4% and paid $1.88 in tax on a $40 bill.

What a pleasant surprise. Cream Pot is a gem. French omelettes and soufflé pancakes to perfection. It's hard to find farm to table differentiation in Hawaii. This little Secret Garden fused with delicate French morning cuisine is truly special. You will not be disappointed. Ambiance is peaceful, charming, and one where your time with someone is more important than turning a table. Courteous Service completes your experience by not being disruptive or absent. Everyone there is keeping a watchful eye. I suggest you try everything, come back often. And note: parking is hotel plentiful and validated, try to keep your party size to four or less and keep a watchful eye out for the best little restaurant greeter, he works long hours but keeps it real. I'll be back. 5 stars!

This was a very lovely breakfast experience! The food and drink and ambiance was all terrific. The wait staff was attentive and lovely!

I was randomly walking when I came upon cream pot. It can be easily overlooked. It's a cute breakfast spot! I've been wanting soufflé pancakes for a while. The ones at cream pot did not disappoint. I ordered the Vietnamese-style cream pot blend iced coffee before heading out. I love coffee, and this one hit the spot.

This is such a cute spot for a couples luncheon or girls brunch imho. The service was great and we had no wait time which surprised us. The parking is validated if you use the lot connected to the hotel/restaurant. The food was delicious. Our small group had the amazingly delicious strawberry soufflé pancakes, a savory crepe with chicken and then the Hawaiian Benedict. We also had two flavored coffees and one basic coffee, all were delicious. It had very cute French flair meets shabby chic decor which we found charming. Happily will return again.

Let me just start off by saying, WOW! We loved our experience here. The staff were so kind, personable and were quick to ask how we were doing. We ordered the soufflé mixed berry pancakes and of course, they were delicious! "OFF THE WALL" was 1,000/10! The bread was so soft and the poached egg was cooked to perfection! The maples bacon on top was a perfect thickness and tons of flavor. The French onion soup was piping hot and a good side dish. The beef stew omelet was different, but we liked it! Inside the omelets is rice! The vinaigrette on the salad was really good, too. There's plenty of seating, a cozy feel and floor to ceiling windows!

Where Soufflé Pancakes originated! So fluffy, jiggly and creamy. Yummm

I came for the original Soufflé Pancakes and they did not disappoint! Although many might think they are from Japan, Chef Nathan Tran from Cream Pot created these fluffy delights. Cream Pot is tucked away in a small shopping area of the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel. Once you enter the door, you're transported to a fairy tale tea house with plushy cushions on antique chairs, cherubs on the walls, charming chandeliers and an elf-sized door leading to the kitchen. Chef Tran and his cute pups greeted us right away and seated us. A server brought out water and a picture menu. I already knew what I wanted! Hubby wanted to try the mint lemonade. I saw the citrus spritzer next to it in the picture, so thought I'd try that. We both enjoyed those beverages, but I also got the Kona coffee, which was quite weak and disappointing. We ordered the Maguro Eggs Benedict and Mixed Berries Soufflé Pancakes to share. I was hoping the savory dish would come out first, but the pancakes did. We dug right in anyway and loved the lightness and creaminess. I would've liked a little more berries, though. I have never seen or heard of raw tuna served as eggs Benedict on crispy rice rather than muffins and it was pretty much sushi with poached eggs. Lol! The salad and all the ingredients were fresh and went well together. We were very pleased with our light and delicious breakfast, minus the coffee. The servers were incredibly attentive and friendly, checking on us frequently. Note that they automatically add gratuity when they deliver the bill, even for a part of two. Some folks might not appreciate that, but we were fine with the service and amount.

Every single item on the food and drink menu is crafted with such robust flavor with so much dimension in each bite. The drink menu is unique, I had a cocktail I can't remember the name of it but it had plum something and was created by one of the servers there. So cool to see employees own work on the menu, he shared with us how hard and long he worked on the craft cocktail to make it perfect. Now this is a bartender! Would definitely recommend making a reservation, unless it's just you and maybe one other than the bar is mostly open seating I think. I got lucky and walked in on a Sunday night and there happened to be two open seats at the bar which i hear is unheard of due to the popularity that is this restaurant. It's a cute restaurant and is definitely a well oiled machine

They were very busy but thankfully we had a reservation. We started with the Fete Spread as the appetizer, the spreads are delicious, I like the green one the most, its nutty and slightly earthy The red one is tomatoey n sharper and the white one is creamy and sweet. This app also comes with refillable toast, which we definitely made sure to get another serving of. Then I was going to get the Korean steak as my entrée, however my coworker got it and I wanted to try something different and new so I went with the beef pot pie per the waitress' recommendation. However, I really wasn't that good in my opinion. I felt like the bourbon in the pie filling made it taste off and unappealing to me. Then I got dessert because why not. We got a lilikoi cheesecake from the Millie Fete bakery. I did not like the cheesecake very much as well. The chocolate mousse on top was good, thw cheesecake itself was good as well. However, the crust also had alcohol infused in it, which made it taste off and bitter to me. I even asked my coworkers to taste it and they agreed. We also got a scoop of kulolo ice cream. I didn't realize it was going to ALSO be infused in alc, I think it was rum, so again, the ice cream tasted slightly off to me. Kulolo is already perfect why mess with it... Also my OTHER frustration was that it took an OBSCENE amount of time for the cheesecake and ice cream. Logically, the cheesecake would just need to be plated and the ice cream just scooped. However it took 15-20 minutes for us to get the dessert which is ridiculous in my opinion. THE SECOND TIME I came, it was a slightly better experience. We had the spread and toast appetizer like previously and it was good again. WE also got the quinoa cakes and it was super flavorful and crunchy on the outside. I got the Korean steak this time around because I must try it. It was good, the scallion rice was good, flavorful. The steak was okay, it tasted good but I think it was a bad cut/quality of steak (they said it was ribeye?), but there were a lot of the silverskin/gristle (connective issue that can't be bitten through). Made the overall steak experience very unpleasant. I'm not sure HOW much I'd want to revisit as they have some pretty good dishes but some others are a little worse quality. Plus because of how busy they can get, the service might be a bit lackluster and even frustrating.

The batter was light and crispy with great flavors and had a yummy sauce drizzled on top. It also came with a scoop of rice, buttered corn, and Mac salad. Mac salad was delicious! Prime rib sandwich came with salad and au jus sauce and a side of salad. It's good but also very filling. I didn't try the burger or teriyaki chicken but was told both were delicious. After dinner, we ordered a few items from the bakery to eat on the plane. You have to take a number and wait for them to call it. I got 2 kouign Amannn, 2 Dubai coco puff, and half dozen green tea puff. The kouign amann is a circular croissant. I liked that it was soft and flaky and had a sweet, crispy glaze over it. The Dubai coco puff had a strong pistachio crunchy flavor but I thought it was way too sweet for me personally. The Star of the show are the green tea cream puffs! I would come back to just order that! The top filling tasted like a thick creamy brown butter green tea-flavored icing. The filling inside doesn't taste like brown butter and less thick but still really good. Overall, they had really good food and items from the bakery. Highly recommend the infamous green tea cream and chicken karaage dish! Customer service was quick and professional though I felt like our server wasn't that friendly lol. It was so sad this business is closing down by Oct 31st. With rising food costs, inflation and…read morestaffing, it's understandable but I wish best endeavors for Chef Jason Peel and his staff. My fiance won a gift card actually 2 of them (from his coworker whom could not get a reservation secured), we knew we had to make the trip over before they officially close. We had multiple dishes, but staff made Kauai prawns and tomato miso black cod dishes on the house since they ran out the Hokkaido scallops. We ordered the short ribs, lobster appetizer, hamachi crudo and lastly sashimi moriawase to finish food palate. Lukki lemon dessert was great way to end to night. Ordered the Milk tea bouquet cocktail while my better half had water ( either way the food coma knock him out cold the rest of the night lol). To be honest, it was difficult to determine which dish was the best because the staff kept quality there despite it being busy every night since they announce the closure. Sashimi moriawase, fish was so fresh, reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido and Sapporo. Short ribs was soft and rich in flavor. Both me and my fiance liked the lukki lemon dessert, like lemon meringue pie but broken down version. If you have a chance to dine here before closing and got a reservation, definitely will have a lovely dining experience and your stomach will be full by end of the night.

The staff were friendly and very helpful with giving us recommendations. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 entrees, and honestly it was too much food for us. We had leftovers for breakfast the next day! - For appetizers we got: Ulu Tots, Japanese Eggplant, and Corn Beignets. The Corn Beignets was the best. - For entree we got: Tomato Miso Black Cod and the Short Rib. Both were delicious and worth a try. Sad to see that this restaurant appears to be closing.
