Favorite combo split scoop Banana pudding and Chocolate PB swirl
    Wendy K.

Love this shop not far from my dad's neighborhood. Cute and cheerful. The staff is always genuinely friendly and helpful when you visit. My favorite combo if they have both flavors when I go is the Banana Pudding which they're known for and the chocolate PB swirl. Their ice cream flavors are fun and always delicious and creamy, but what I really love the most is their customer service you feel right at home like a long time friend

We stopped by, to support after having this ice cream in a couple of events in the community. It did not disappoint, good variety of flavors and sweet staff. The ambiance is bright, airy and fun... just like I would expect from an ice cream shop. My biggest happiness: they sell affogato!!!!

It was Pie day, they have ice cream and pie special. This is local and woman own ice cream shop. I really like creamy strawberry, it is creamy and has strawberry chuck in the ice cream. The pecan pie also was good, but I still like creamy strawberry better. I also got mini honey pie. I am not big pie person but it does look good. The woman, assuming she is owner was friendly. It is a cute little shop. It is street parking, can be tough depending on the time.

Enjoying some vanilla ice cream outside of the Creamy Cone Cafe!

After a walk in the fairly nearby Kubota Park a few weekends ago I had the want of something cold and sweet. I saw Creamy Cone Cafe and it looked exactly what I was wanting. This little ice cream shop is pretty small but I saw seating outside and claimed a table. Looks like after viewing pictures of the shop menu it appears that they rotate their flavors because some of what I saw and some flavors of what they had weren't the same. I went with a less unusual flavor and went with a scoop in a cup of vanilla flavored ice cream which proved to be very refreshing and tasty! Exactly what I was looking for! Definitely a worthy ice cream shop to keep in mind whenever in the neighborhood and looking for a nice, cold sweet treat on a hot summer day. But for me it doesn't have to be hot for me to enjoy ice cream!

I believe the owner, unsure on her name, warmly welcomed our group of 6 - which we almost filled the space. There was lovey seating outside and cornhole! We were able to taste test many different flavors though it was hard to choose between so many different delicious options. Thank you for the experience! We will be back!

Creamy Cone has wide variety of flavors on rotation - it was difficult to choose which to order, but I settled on the raspberry lemon cheesecake swirl, which was creamy and had a great flavor balance, with a generous helping of cheesecake bites throughout. Getting my ice cream took a bit only because they allow one party in the store at a time. Once I was in the store, the staff helped me quickly, and I was out in less than four minutes. I'd definitely return to try additional flavors. They also have a menu filled with other creamy sweet treats as well as espresso. This is an awesome small business!

This place was great!! My wife was looking for more black owned businesses to support and we found a great ice cream shop. We even got the chance to meet the owner Ashanti. She was such a pleasure to meet and gave excellent customer service. If you're looking for a great black-owned ice cream cafe, this is your place!!

I really love to support local and minority owned businesses and my childhood home is literally 3 blocks away where I lived for over 23 years so I am very familiar with this area and was eager to support them. This strip of businesses have been many things over the years and it is good to see a new business open here. I came for a Yelp experience and I brought my son with me since he loves ice cream (who doesn't?) We bought a mini size cup for my son and he chose the Honeycomb flavor. He said that there should be more honeycombs in the ice cream as there were too little for his taste. When we first came in the door, the worker was somewhere out of sight so we had to announce that we were there. There was dead silence in the place with no background music or general ambiance. The woman who served us (no name given) was lukewarm to us. I was my usual friendly and bubbly self and consider myself charismatic but this woman wasn't having any of it. She was not friendly but business like. I asked several questions about the business trying to strike up a friendly convo. I asked when did they begin business? (2021), do they make their own ice cream? (no), who makes it? (she said several local places but wouldn't name them), I asked if she was the owner or one of the daughters? (no). Each answer was monosyllabic and not friendly. It's like I interrupted her from some task and she just wanted to get rid of us. She also never offered us toppings for the ice cream as I now see others had from photos on the Yelp page. I didn't notice this until after we had paid for our treats. I really wanted to like this place but this employee didn't help the business out at all. Overall, the place is very colorful and nicely decorated inside and outside and the ice cream was great. Also, I am sure the owner or her daughters are a lot more welcoming than the employee who helped me today.

Bright, fun neighborhood indie ice cream shop in South Seattle, Creamy Cone Cafe! I made the trek from Shoreline to Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood (3/18/22). It is located along a busy stretch of Rainier Avenue South but ample street parking was available. It is bright, fun, and inviting from approaching the sidewalk seating and celebrating throughout the interior decor. The friendly owner was very welcoming and clearly proud of her business! A variety of fresh flavors rotate and samples are encouraged. But me, I always gravitate to chocolate as a benchmark. I ended up having two mini scoops: chocolate peanut butter and chocolate brownie. Very creamy and flavorful. An indulgence, but as the saying goes, life's short, eat dessert first! Future trips to nearby Kubota Gardens, Seward Park, or any of the neighborhood parks along Lake Washington, definitely make it sweeter with treats from Creamy Cone Cafe. There's frozen treats that can be customized with toppings and other menu items available. Tasty ice cream that brightened my Friday afternoon!

Friendly service. Decent selection of ice cream. I tried the banana pudding, but the lemon cheesecake one sounded great too. I also grab a slice of sweet potato pie for $5. It's a classic. Tip: Ask for a sample of the ice cream, or the sweet potato pie or cupcake

This place is so cute and colorful! It's pretty small, but so fun once you walk in. Everyone from a child to an adult can find something interesting in the store. The owner even has a bunch of Knick knacks for sale for all different types of people. The owner was so sweet and really helped us navigate our way through all the homemade flavors. Also, there are freshly baked goods for sale. The owner makes the sweet potato pie in house! I got the chocolate fudge brownie, and it was delicious! It is a bit pricey but it's all for a good cause! It's important to support small local businesses. So go try a pasty and some ice cream because you won't be disappointed!

I love that they have an assortment of flavors which includes some familiar faves, some unique flavors and some vegan options. . Today I got banana pudding and piña colada in a waffle cone. The cone had good flavor, and was thiner than most waffle cones, which was surprising at first, but I think I prefer this thiner version. Both ice creams were delicious. The banana pudding was creamier of the two and very tasty. The vegan piña colada had pineapple chunks and a consistency similar to sorbet. I was so excited to try the ice cream, I dive right in and forgot to take a photo... both scoops were a good portion size, which I appreciate. I wish I had the chance to try them all, because there were other flavors that looked and sounded just as yummy. Reason to return, I guess!

I noticed that they now pour drinks from a pre-made plastic jug instead of making them fresh like when the store first opened. I usually don't get sick from drinking coffee but twice in a row is pretty bad. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups. Sad to say, but my time visiting this chain has come to an end.

They have self serve water on the left side with carafes that you can also take with you. The water is room temperature. Service was very attentive. There was always staff available to take orders right away and help direct guests to a table. The decor is pretty neat. You get a taste of the city, and it was really cool to see the vinyl records throughout the restaurant. It shows a lot of personality and feels really nice to see someone's passion and personal interests incorporated into the space. We ordered the pho combos, rice tower with pork belly, a couple of Vietnamese coffees, a brown sugar matcha, and sticky rice. The food was absolutely delicious! It was especially neat having the pho served in a hot stone bowl because it keeps the soup hot throughout the meal. Every bite was comforting, especially on a cold, rainy day, which Seattle is known for. The rice tower is what my boyfriend and I ordered, and the pork belly was so good! It was nice and crunchy, and the sides that came with it complemented the flavors really well. The drinks were also very good. I would definitely recommend the egg coffee and pandan Vietnamese coffee if you love coffee. I also love that they have some snacks for sale next to the cashier if you feel like taking something home after your meal. Towards the end of our meal, one of the servers brought out a free dessert, which was such a kind gesture! Overall, we loved the food, service, and overall vibe. Definitely check this place out! I can't say it was anything super special but it was definitely worth a try. Food & drink: (4/5) There are for sure certain items that they excel at and some that need some work. We got the banh uot tower with heo quay, banh khot, banh mi chao, and com tam. I see the appeal of the eye catching banh uot tower, but unfortunately I felt like it was very mediocre. I felt like the portion of veggie and meat wasn't enough for all the rice rolls, plus the actual heo quay was dry with barely any crispy skin. I think they also forgot to give us the heo quay because we had to ask for it much after the banh uot came out. I would skip this next time. I would also skip the banh khot as it was on the softer, chewier side when my personal preference is light and crispy. Those who do like it soft will definitely enjoy it though. As for flavor, it had an extremely prominent coconut taste- it usually isn't so strong in banh khot so I wasn't so fond of this. My family did really enjoy the com tam and banh mi chao. I only had one bite of each, but I would get these items again. Their drinks on the other hand, were delightful. I got the tamarind black tea and my step dad got the lychee green tea. Both were super refreshing and even addicting. I think they tend to do sweet items better, including their rice crispy treats that they sell on the front counter. Service: (4/5) The service here didn't really stand out much but I didn't pay much mind to it. They were very nice but there was a sense of disorganization, mostly due to us not being acknowledged when we first walked in and having some of our food forgotten about.
