I regret that I only had one chance to try this place, but can heartily recommend you try it more than once ! I had a raspberry salad that may have been the best one of these i have ever tested ! Plenty of fresh fruit and the included chicken was moist and tender. The menu had several things that sounded great and I would have loved to have tried. This place is connect to a company that hires challenged adults and there were several employed there when I ate. It's busy for good reason! Everything we had was excellent! Appetizers, refills, and meals were prompt and delicious! When we placed a double order of chips and salsa and were sweetly advised one would likely be enough for four, it was not a stretch- a regular order is an enormous basket of fresh, warm tortilla chips with ample salsa! Each of us had a different entree and all agreed, we had a fantastic lunch! We have found the place that we will go back to again and again and take people with us.. The food is so great and the service is the best.. it's so much bigger inside than it looks and very clean.. Had lunch there last week. Forgot to take a pic. Appreciate that ordering online is a breeze with Creative Cafe. I had 1/2 Caesar salad and 1/2 BLT and it was tasty. 4 stars b/c the salad lettuce was in huge pieces and ribbons and since the dressing was on the side it made it a challenge I the small container. Once again, you Yelp members had led us to a gold mine! We were in Casa Grande at lunch time and I looked in Yelp for a restaurant where the three of us could find some good food. The 4.5 stars and wonderful reviews that 247 of you gave to Creative Café sent us there. The fact that they combined good eating with a mission to employ the handicapped added at least one more invisible star for us. I had their fish and chips; the fish tasted like real cod and was breaded just right - their fries (beer battered) were wonderfully seasoned - didn't even need salt! Their Cole Slaw was perfect! My wife had their "small" raspberry pecan chicken salad. Their "large" salad must be served in a five-gallon bucket, because her "small" one was gigantic, and she loved it. Our guest, born and bred in New York City, had their "Elaine's Reuben" and their Pastrami got an "A+" grade from her critical palate. The Patty Melts are perfect and their french fries are the best around, what a great meal! The service was so friendly, and much better than I'm used to at other local establishments. Drinks were refilled before empty and when I needed something extra, it was seen to immediately. It's a cozy little spot with plenty of seating, but I'm telling you, we arrived right as they opened and by the time we left, every table was full, so you might need to grab a reservation. We ate here multiple times during our stay in Casa Grande during Jan-Feb this year. We took family & friends as well as recommended it to many! We loved how they hired several mentally & physically challenged folks giving them work opportunities. We went for several dinners as well as lunches so were able to try lots of dishes. They were very accommodating to my cousin with celiac disease (GF) and we had no contamination issues. Please visit here when in Casa Grande!! Their food is amazing & the staff is very pleasant & helpful (especially Kesha!) Check out my photos from several visits - you will NOT be disappointed. We never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes for a table. Our largest party was 6 people. We WILL make many more visits to Creative Cafe next year when we return! read more

People drive from Phoenix to eat here. People (like us) drive from Tucson to eat here. Reason? They make fairly standard lunch meals but they do it with soul, great care, and precision. The other day i had the best Patty Melt I've ever had and believe me, I've had a lot of them! It was moist, flavorful and unctuous. We all had great meals. The service was friendly and helpful. I stopped in here on my drive down to Tucson this weekend. I just noticed that this was a highly rated restaurant in my route, I didn't realize the whole concept. The owners mission is to provide employment to mentally and physically challenged adults - I adore this! The staff was very friendly and the place was pretty packed around lunchtime. What a gem!!! I had a cup of tomato soup, so flavorful! Then ordered the turkey burger with grilled onions and Gouda cheese with sweet potato fries, outstanding folks!!!! I love that they have "special" bus people, an people who get drinks etc I'll start by saying the green chili chicken soup is killer good. However, the pastrami sandwich not so great . Very light on pastrami an bread not warmed or toasted The Cajon slaw they put on it was also killer good, though Also, at another visit, ordered Thai pizza (flatbread) I was so excited because I love Thai food. I was really disappointment. First, I considered it burnt, it was dry , very little cheese. Peanuts, cilantro, and mushrooms are not all the fixings that make a Thai pizza. We visited with a group of 20! Even with so many people, the service was excellent. The food was so good and we loved the choices. It was hard to decide what to order. We all loved this place. I had never been before and didn't know what they had or what to expect: I was helped by a nice young lady who got the order correct, even though she didn't write anything down! Wonderful place to eat at. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The ice tea was refreshing and the raspberry tea wasn't too sweet. Masks are worn and spacial distancing is good. I ordered Abigail's avocado turkey sandwich. Was a great choice. Succulent turkey, tangy guacamole, crisp red onion, fresh tomato, tasty Swiss and crispy bacon on just right grilled wheat. For my side I chose the sweet potato wedges that were crispy on the outside and tender on the in. Side of creamy ranch. My friends all enjoyed there meals as well. The southwest French dip was so good that I was told the au jus wasn't needed. While tasty, the sandwich stood on its own. Bathrooms - Clean with paper, soap and paper towels. read more
