I tried Creative Nails today. They did such a great job. They are under new ownership and you can tell. Ellen took her time and did exactly like the picture I brought in. I had SNS and a Spa pedicure. They are very friendly. The work is very good. Ellen even did a manicure before the SNS- this is standard here where most places doing push back cuticles or cut dead skin before they dip. I'll definitely be back. Best pedicure I have had in Scottsdale! I am writing a less than 5-star review based on how I was treated. I believe, that if I make an appointment, it should be honored above all other walk-ins, etc. I had an appointment for two people for pedicures. At my appointment time, they were short-staffed. OK I get it, but they then put my friend in an endless whirl of hot water in her pedicure bowl while they took other customers. NOT OK. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT FOR TWO PEOPLE. While they were kind and apologetic (and did I mention this was the BEST pedicure I have had in Scottsdale) I was so angry I could not enjoy my experience. WHY, knowing you have two people together, would you not plan accordingly? Owner knew they were wrong apologized 5 times - 2 1/2 hours for pedicures...won't go back. And no discount or anything for our inconvenience. Customer service is gone. Sad. read more

I previously had given Creative 5 stars. We have been going here for 2+ years and been happy. This all changed after our experience Friday. The main person Nancy was not there and boy could you tell. The place messy. The service we received was rushed. Literally in and out within 30 minutes that included nails drying and we were schedule for the 40 minute pedicure. That afternoon my daughters nail polish chipped, plus when we left she had polish all over her toes. My polish chipped the next day. This is unacceptable. I also question salons that don't allow you to tip on your credit card. First Tammy left and now Nancy, there are plenty of other nail salons that can have my business. read more

My anniversary is tomorrow and I wanted to try this place that I've seen driving by (since I live so close). I called to make an appointment when they opened on Saturday morning, and they were able to get me in when I asked. When I arrived, there were 5 people waiting outside waving at me while I was still in my car; which I thought was nice but slightly strange. When I got there, I sat down and they immediately started on both my mani and pedi. The person doing my pedicure did not massage well. The person doing my manicure cut my middle finger and it was bleeding quite a lot. He kept putting different liquids to try to stop the bleeding, but nothing was working. He was very shaky when doing my manicure and kept asking me if it looked okay (it did NOT)! Finally, I said it looked a bit messy. He couldn't understand what I was saying so the owner translated. The owner was very pleasant and nice the entire time; so I feel really bad making this review. I asked if someone else could fix my nails. While I waited, I realized that my toes looked very messy as well. I told the owner and he said they would fix them too. I was trying to be as nice as possible during this because I HATE complaining!!!! But I had to say something. When they were fixing my toenails, he cut my big toe and it started bleeding so bad. It was quite painful and then they kept touching it with their bare hands.. finally I couldn't do it anymore!! I was so uncomfortable. I said I had to leave. I left without paying. Honestly I felt so bad and I hate feeling bad, but I've never had this experience before and I wanted my nails to look good for my 1 year anniversary. read more

This place is not consistent. The first 3 times I went, I had an amazing experience. The service was top notch - quick and friendly. My gel manicure lasted ages and I thought my search for a fantastic nail salon had finally ended. Oh how I was wrong.... The first strike was when I went in for a last minute pedicure, the woman I had was extremely ill. Yes she was wearing gloves and a mask, but she kept sneezing and wiping her nose with this old tissue and then touching my feet. It was disgusting and she gave me a very sub par pedicure. I was massively grossed out, and didn't return for a few months. But I figured that every place has an off day once in awhile and it's not the salons fault an employee was sick and didn't stay home. The second strike was last week. I had a business trip and procrastinated getting my nails done until a few hours before my flight. I called and they said they could take me right away. I go in and they start on my pedicure, everything was going ok (and it's the previous lady who was sick so I was a bit weary at first) and generally speaking the pedicure was fine. The massage wasn't anything to write home about (but are they ever at nail salons?). The final product was a little meh, but ok. The third (and final) strike that will have me never returning to this salon, was during my manicure. I rarely get acrylics - maybe 4 times a year, but I used to get them fairly regular when I was younger, so I am familiar with the process. The man who did my nails was simply terrible. My nails are uneven, painted poorly, misshapen, and already chipping off (4 days later). I knew while he was doing it, that this wasn't going to end well, and I voiced my growing anxiety to him, which I think made it worse not better. I didn't have time to soak the nails off and find another nail salon in time for my flight, so I braved a conference with very unprofessional nails. My search for a nail salon continues. read more

We had to wait 30 minutes for our appointments and there were not enough nail techs available as we were told there would be. They did not like it when we didn't want to upgrade our pedicures and one of my cousins wanted a polish change only. These people will only try to rip you off. I get very simple nails and have been charged $75 for a FILL all three times that I went. The one time I got a pedicure, my total was $125!!! For basic pedicure and a fill. On top of that, the lady was extremely rude and asked if I'm pregnant, which I'm not and don't look like it either. The salon is funky and dark too.
