My mother lives in Morgan Hill, and she called me telling me she heard animals running around in the roof of the house. To make a long story short there was a family of raccoons living in the attic that cause some serious damage. I contacted Creature Catchers and spoke with Sandra. She was so helpful , knowledgeable, and polite. She worked around my schedule due to me having to fly in from out of town. Andy the tech showed up and did an inspection of the house to find out how these raccoons were entering/leaving the attic. He then set some traps and told me he would be back the next day. The next day Andy showed up and had captured/trapped every single one of the raccoons with in 24 hours. He then closed up the multiple entry points to ensure no other animals could enter. Sandra and Andy run a tight ship. Sandra effectively directs activities, schedules and communications while Andy efficiently does his thing. We recently moved into our house and had a metal roof replaced with composite shingles. Andy came out within 3 days, set traps and identified probably 8-10 points of entry. Several days later he collected the traps and sealed up the attic and foundation. Andy fixes what is needed but doesn't overdo it. Today I felt obligated to write this review. A couple weeks ago I thought I had a raccoon in my attic and I called Creature Catcher based on all the 5-star reviews I read on Yelp. Andy showed up on time and inspected my entire roof from the outside and from the attic. He told me that he didn't see any signs of raccoon but there are 4 openings between my roof sections where rats and squirrels come in and out freely and there's evidence of heavy traffic in my attic showing their constant presence. Those openings were there since the house was built more than 20 years ago. He then went ahead and properly blocked those openings with metal wire net and foam and he put a few mouse traps in the attic just in case there are trapped mice. All of this was covered by the one flat rate first-visit charge which they stated clearly over the phone when the appointment was made. I even got the "internet" discount. I was more than happy. But this was not the end of the story. When Andy was working on my house, my neighbor walked by and he told me he also had animal-in-the-attic issues. I told him our houses have holes in the roof so he'd better block them as well so he made an appointment with Andy right then and there. Andy came to his house and fixed his roof the week after. Today, I was doing my yard work and my neighbor came to me and said when Andy was working on his house, he saw that the metal enclosure where cables come into my house was having a loose cover. Evidently the cable guy forgot to replace the screw to secure the cover and I have no idea it has been left open like that. Andy told my neighbor mice could easily open the flap and enter the house through the cable box so he put a screw to secure the cover. I know it's only a screw and it cost Andy next to no time to put it in for me. But the fact he cared about his customers and would do such a thing without me knowing it says a lot about Andy's work ethics. If my neighbor didn't tell me about the cable box I would never have a chance to thank Andy. read more

A unique service available for people with unique pest problems. Don't call them if you have mice or rats. But if you have squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums (etc) invading your house, these people work wonders! The business is run by Andy and his wife Sandra and it blows my mind that this is the kind of work he does on a daily basis. And in my opinion, probably no one would do a better job. A sour spoiled meat smell was coming through our heater vents, and it was progressively getting worse. A lot of skunks had been hanging out by the house, so I was afraid one of them crawled under the floor boards and died. Creature Catcher was able to squeeze me in the SAME day despite their busy schedule. Real friendly and flexible. Andy came and actually CRAWLED under our house on all fours (poor guy) and within an hour (after searching every corner of our foundation) was able to find the culprit - a huge maggot-ridden 10lb opossum. He promptly bagged it and took it out. He even told us how the guy got in, and that the same hole was being used by skunks as a 'motel'. Happily there were no skunks around at the time. We paid him a little extra and he crawled back under our house to patch up the hole with wire mesh. He had all the necessary equipment in his van. Everything was quick and smooth. And for the kind of work that they do, I feel their prices are definitely reasonable. I want say I'd definitely give them my business in the future, but I'm praying I won't get anymore critters dying under the house. In the end, no more dead opossum, no more smell (and maggots). Love these guys! I paid 3 other people to get rid of rats, and all they did was trap them and call it a day. But they never plugged up all the tiny little places they could be getting in. So they just kept coming back. Andy went through my crawl space and house perimeter and roof, and eliminated every entrance. He was reasonable, and outlined all the charges clearly. I'm so thankful for him. Also, great that they use no poisons, because that can effect other wildlife down the food chain, or our small animals. Had a family of raccoons move into our attic and we were not sleeping at all. I had been terrorized for 8 years by a family of raccoons coming in through the cat door in the middle of the night. Once we set the traps, I'd caught 3 of them within 2 days. The mother raccoon proved harder to get, but Creature Catchers was generous with the time I could keep the trap and I finally got her! Andy and Sandra are awesome! I repeatedly heard scratching in an inaccessible wall behind our master bedroom. It would only happen for me! Climbed into the spot, and he played baby raccoon noises on his phone. He explained that if it was indeed a raccoon, a nesting female would respond. She certainly did! He set up humane traps, he sealed off the area for us. He patiently waited for my preschooler to get home once who thought Andy had the coolest job to debrief us. He solved our problem and inspected my house for free for fleas since raccoons can bring them in and we have no pets. Andy and Sandra are the BEST! I am a long time client as I live in an area with lots of wildlife and rodents eventually will find a way back. I have used other rodent companies and I will say that Andy and Sandra are honest, and true partners in rodent control. They really want to see you succeed against the pests rather than just try to take as much money from you, which I have found to be unfortunately true with others in this rat proofing/removal business. I had to get my HVAC ducts replaced because rodents got in. Another company tried to scam me by saying my attic insulation and ducts also had to be replaced, but Andy was able to advise my insulation was fine based on his recent visit and this was confirmed by the manager of the other company when he saw photos. So through their good partnership with me, they saved me $5000 of what the other company wanted to upsell me with. Andy came here twice and did excellent works. In his first visit, he sealed 4 entrance holes which squirrels come into our attic. 4 weeks later (due to our travel schedule, we asked him to wait.), he came back and sealed additional 18 plus holes in spending more than 5 hours. We have 2 story house with steep roof. He even went on the roof and tried to seal additional holes. In this morning, we heard the noise from the location which he sealed 4 weeks ago. We recently had a problem with rats under our house and we noticed that several of the vents were damaged. We were not sure how to fix this ourselves, so, because the reviews were so good, we decided to call Creature Catchers. What a good choice! The lady who called me back from the message I left was very helpful and willing to work with our difficult schedules (we wanted to be there to talk to the pest control expert). There may be other places to turn for raccoon relief, but none I've ever contacted were as prompt, personal and professional as Creature Catchers. You can call at any time and be sure of a response that is either immediate or under an hour. They removed a den of five from my property and it was no small task. After the very wily mother was finally trapped, my deck had to be taken up in a corner next to the house and the nearly grown young ones removed. That meant Andy had to reach in very quickly four times in succession and grab each critter individually. The fourth had ample warning and I was sure he would be bitten, but mercifully he was uninjured. He is intrepid and determined to solve your problem. They best experts in any field have a passion for a job well done and he certainly has that. He does like animals; but he also knows the damage they can do in our homes. After the removal, the deck was restored to its original condition at no charge. This is a unique skill and a job few seem to want to do, so I am very grateful that their service is available. P.S. Andy has just finished a superb job of sealing the area between my deck and the ground so that nothing can live under my deck and possibly get under my house. Wire cloth was screwed to the edge of the deck at the top and buried 10-12 inches deep at the bottom. It looks very neat and professional and he even worked around my garden plants.
