Max and his team are great! Recently hired them to do a move from San Diego to Orange County. We got a flat rate move. There are many moving companies out there and Credo is a great choice for these reasons: 1. Competitive pricing - with yelp it's really easy to get a quote and you can see a lot of the pricing. Max's pricing was competitive and fair. Not the cheapest, but some companies with lower prices had more mixed reviews. 2. They care! I mentioned to max that I had a broken motorcycle that needed to be moved and I had to tow it. He offered to move it! It saved a lot of headache for my husband and I later. A motorcycle is not easy to move. Him and his team took meticulous care of our stuff, nothing was broken and everything placed no matter how tired they got during the day. Things were wrapped nicely and taken with care. Items were loaded in the truck and strapped in. I got so tired with packing that there were random left over items I didn't have a box for, like kettle bells skateboard yoga mat and those all made the truck. Max and his team carried them on for me. They are very nice!! Would highly recommend max and his team for moving! We moved a two bedroom condo into a second story two bedroom condo with a 1 hour 15 min drive and it took 7.5 hours. They take apart your furniture when needed and put it back together. They take a deposit and show up on time to the minute! You can pay with Venmo which makes things easier while moving. read more

Took 3 times longer than it should take. Movers playing with their truck and wasting a lot of time, packing and repacking unnecessary things. Sometimes wrapping same item 3 times . Acting as if they donot understand English . All these are tricks of the trade to take longer for a move. Took the entire day to move . Better off renting a truck and hiring loading help on U-Haul. Stay away from this company They also add additional charges not discussed earlier . Update: please remove my address info in the review. It should not take $1200 to move basic furniture to a home 15 mins away. They were constantly wasting time instead of working. They were triple wrapping furniture even when I told them I don't need that. They wasted time constantly going up and down the truck even for small items . At the end you charged additional time and they just said they add to everyone. Credo Moving delivered a great experience with my move. They were really professional and had all equipment to make my move a successful trip. They arrived a little early and they were quick and efficient with their time in disassembling my bed and moving my tv stand, tv, dining table and chairs, and my couch. They had blankets and seram wrap to wrap certain furniture from damage and even brought out some more boxes for me for some small items. I really appreciated their delicacy in moving my stuff. I was moving from one neighborhood to another within San Diego and they got the whole move down in 3.5 hours. I would definitely hire them again if I ever move! read more

Because they were the the only mover to give suggestions for us to go with other services (PODS) over their own direct SAN-PDX service, which was relatively cheap, but still out of budget, we decided to hire them for labor only. They charge a $100 deposit, which I was apprehensive about, so I wanted to write that here to put others considering them to ease. Damn. Awesome experience - highly recommend Credo Moving and Storage! We have multiple very heavy items, including a huge refrigerator, massage chair, and adjustable bed. They loaded our entire 3 bedroom house strategically into a U-Pack truck with care (we originally were going to use U-Haul but Max suggested we check U-Pack) in 4 hours (with 4 guys), using all of the space like professionals, which saved us hundreds as U-Pack only charges for how much space you use. In an industry where you just don't know who to trust, Credo Moving and Storage came through for us. We've had bad experiences with movers promising a low rate only to try to scam us out of money at the end. Credo won't do this to you. These guys were honest and hard working. The two movers came on-time (even 10 minutes early). They were professional and respectful and asked where boxes/furniture should go. Even with one stop in between, he and one other guy managed to complete the move in 3-hrs. It helps to have things disassembled and ready to go. This is a first-rate moving company. I needed to move one bedroom to Tucson from San Diego. I called several companies and Credo was the most responsive, polite and LEAST EXPENSIVE of them all. Highly recommend if you're looking for someone to help move. I rented a uhaul and needed help loading. They had a good price. I did only need 2 hours and had a 3 hour minimum, but that's standard across all moving companies. There is a $100 deposit. They were great with communication and answering any questions I had. My window was between 8-9am, and they were there at 7:50am. I appreciated the promptness! In addition, they helped wrap all my furniture which was extremely helpful. Here is my price estimate and availability: ________________________________________ Price Estimate $95 hourly Availability Wed Apr 29, 8 AM - 10 AM Wed Apr 29, 10 AM - 12 PM Message Thanks for considering Credo Moving. Our rate $95/hour 2 movers and a truck. Minimum order three hours. Please book an appointment! Max. I agreed to this price. When they showed up at my house there were additional undisclosed fees as follows, a $40 gas fee and $95 per hour for double drive time, meaning, that they would charge for driving back to wherever their shop was located. I was very displeased to say the least. I felt it was unscrupulous and very unprofessional to not disclose all fees before they arrived at my home. Of course, I felt like I was caught between a rock and a hard place so I had to agree to the move, otherwise I would have had them leave. Secondly, that told me they would arrive between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. and the night before they emailed me and said they would be there between 12 p.m. -1:00 p.m. Of course, this threw me off. I had planned around the original time frame. Then the morning of the move they emailed me and said they would be there between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. and did not arrive until 12:35. It was all just really annoying and unprofessional. Thirdly, they wanted me to sign a contract that said they had given me moving booklets which are required by law prior to the moving which they had not. Again, unscrupulous and unprofessional. I am giving them 5 stars for taking care of my belongings. They did take good care of my belongings and moved them professionally, therefore, I am giving them 5 stars.
