THE GOOD STUFF: They partner with local artisans and fifth-gen family-owned Scott Brothers Dairy to churn out inventive flavors that surprise and delight, meanwhile creating community and investing in meaningful initiatives (Portland Means Progress, Emerging Leaders program for underrepresented artisans/chefs, and Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for kiddo cancer research). All from a couple of guys who had never made ice cream before! Ice cream that tastes good & gives me good feels, too. My dad had the mango black tea panna cotta and I went for the raspberry gateau. The panna cotta had great flavor. Subtle on the tea, strong with the mango. A generous portion but light enough that it could be finished. The raspberry gateau was rich and chocolatey. The raspberries were a necessity to add dimension to the dish. I recommend this location for celebrations, evenings out, or for a sweet treat just because. Everything is clean and it feels fancy and special without being overly exclusive. This location is right on NW 23rd and would make a great stop before, during, or after a day of shopping.

The waiter was inattentive, rarely checked on our table, and seemed completely uninterested in providing even the most basic level of customer service. We spent more time waiting than actually enjoying our meal. And you expected tip for your service? What a joke!!!!!! For the prices charged, this level of service is inexcusable. A restaurant can survive a mistake, but it shouldn't fail at the fundamentals of hospitality. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had, and it completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable evening. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone until they seriously improve their service.

Their muscles are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Truly, the best I've ever had. This beats living in the southeast on the coast, any west-coast seafood restaurant, and every place I've ever enjoyed in Italy. They've certainly topped the muscle game. Highly recommend Olympic Provisions. I will gladly vouch that the negative reviews are from the haters, just to hate. They're essentially 24/7 because during Covid they made the incredibly bizarre and ingenious move to put their insanely beautiful patisserie in old school slot-style cafeteria vending machines. So during isolation one could run out in your mask and gloves, stay six feet away from the person behind you, and yank open any door to reveal an amazing little dessert behind each one. It was a taste of restaurants (professional desserts!!!) that we all missed so much. But it wasn't a gimmick that went away like the closed bubble dining pods. The cafeteria vending machines have stayed. I've picked up multiple different styles to have lots of dessert options at a birthday, I've stopped there in the middle of the night for an after-hospital cheering up, it's basically made for wandering over after making love any time of day or night. They somehow stay beautiful, fresh, and delicious in this little gimmicky machine. It's fun, whimsical, and I think some of the best patisserie in town.

My parents, husband, and I shared the Marionberry and brown butter pecan pies. I love their individual pie size because it is the perfect amount to indulge without feeling overly guilty. The crust is a killer and the filling is decadent! My daughters split the pie crust cinnamon roll. That plate was cleared within a minute and there was not a piece of crumb to be spotted. The Laura Palmer is a lemonade and ruby nectar herbal tea. Very unique and refreshing for a hot summer day!
