There were several coffee places in this area but thought an afternoon crepe would be perfect. We shared their S'Mores which had dark chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows. There was a nice balance of dark chocolate and marshmallows but not enough graham crackers. I enjoyed my skim milk latte and my husband enjoyed his cappuccino. Okay quality place for both savory and sweet crepes on the Upper West Side. I got a Crepe Madame ($14), which had egg, ham, and gruyere inside. I also got a Nutella and baked apple crepe ($12). While both were decent, they were both quite thin and did not really impress me that much in any way. I also got a Very Berry Smoothie with apple juice ($8.50), which basically just tasted like apple juice despite having the berry color. Again, decent but was not really impressed. The space is moderately sized with a casual vibe. There was just one guy working there but the service speed wasn't bad. I probably got the least amount of food from one order serving, when compared to the handful of crepe stores that I've been to in the past. An order is around ten dollars, which is fair and the normal pricing for a crepe, but with the ten dollars I paid for in the other stores (which is also located in the NYC area), they would comes with alot more ingredient/topping such as ice cream, fruits, whip cream, nuts etc, which is the standard that I'm basing my experience off of. Obviously, every place is different when it comes to quantity and pricing. But when you ordered from this menu, you're getting just that. Nowhere near the best I've ever had, but nothing you'd shove away from your face either. It's sort like Jack Johnson. Sure, it took a few minutes for them to make the crepe from scratch, but it was worth it. My friends that I was with (who opted for the aforementioned deli sandwich) came back with their plastic shopping bags, but immediately regretted their decision when they smelled the fresh crepes inside. Only reason I went with four stars instead of five was they they don't seem to have a way to wrap up the crepes and I ended up having to carry it in a paper sleeve in one hand and my drink in the other back to the park. I especially love one of their cute seating decor they they have at each location; long wooden block with back of the chair sticking out of it. I think it is really creative and adorable. We got a drip coffee, a latte, and cold brew- all great. A little on the pricier side ($5 for cold brew, and $5 for lattes). I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the extremely long wait. Only one person was working there and it was so busy! She was super sweet, but just very overwhelmed. It was hard to order and hard to pay because of this. We had to Amelie crepe, and it was amazing (picture attached). The dough was soft and the filling was delicious.
