I had a white poly viscose dress shirt that I had gotten some makeup on and numerous other dry cleaners had not been able to remove the stain on the collar. Crest is a little out of my way, but I make the trip because the couple that own it are fantastic! Leo and Evelyn go the distance to ensure customers are satisfied. In the last two years I have never had a garment ruined or any buttons broken (in dry cleaning business shirts). Leo examines each piece of clothing and will make a personal suggestion on whether it should be hand dry cleaned based on fabric type, buttons, and feel of the shirt. Leo and Evelyn were fantastic. I've been using this cleaners since the 1990s! There's been a change in ownership since then and although the dry cleaning seems to be about the same, the seamstress is sub par and very expensive. Plus, the new owner is defensive about the seamstress' work since it is his mother. They just ruined an expensive Zegna suit we brought in to alter and kept saying we requested a fitted suit when my husband is clearly an athletic build and never requested a fitted suit in his entire life. That's when I knew the owner wasn't telling me the truth. Plus, they charged too much for an alteration that wasn't performed properly. The owner told me that the suit jacket would fit better if the jacket remained unbuttoned. What?? It's a double breasted suit and the remedy is not to button it when they were too aggressive at taking it in?? Although the owner kept saying he was sorry, the customer service was lacking for work unprofessionally performed. He wouldn't make the situation right and call in the seamstress to correct the problem. He charged full price for the poor alteration since he thought the job looked fine. I would have gladly paid more for a proper job to be performed. Beware and stay away from their alteration services. In fact, after almost 27 years of going to this cleaner and taking everything from clothes to curtains I realize without the prior owners and with this poor service it's time to find a new cleaner and seamstress. read more

Great area cleaner! good parking, living water adjacent. I bring my shirts here and they only charge 1.50 for standard cleaning and machine ironing. its a little more if you have special buttons or want it dry cleaned. I also brought my pants and a dress here aftera wedding wine mishap. Tehy weren't too bad going to the cleaners and they made it out okay. so a pair of pants, a dress, and 3 shirts cost under $20. Not bad! The attendants are all supefriendly as is the owner. read more

I have been coming here ever since I moved to the area a couple years ago. The owner Leo is super friendly and has a sharp eye for stains or wear on the clothes that I drop off for cleaning. I like how he takes notes when I point out areas on clothes that I would like him to pay extra attention to when cleaning and I haven't been disappointed yet. Pricing is competitive and fair. They have a discount program for dry cleaning items which is nice and adds up if you have a lot of items to dry clean. The location is convenient and worth going to even if it is a little out of the way because you can trust them. Solid dry cleaners. I have been going here for about 5 months with large volumes of shirts for laundry and dry cleaning and haven't had a single issue. It's a mom and pop shop and the only issue is that they aren't very personable. Actually, they seem to be very nice to me, but not as friendly with my husband (who usually takes things in). My first time at Crest and I will never betray them for another LA cleaner. I rolled in at 1 pm on Thursday afternoon with a heinously stained 2 piece suit. I spoke with Leo and told him I would need it by 12:30pm the following day, since my roommate was driving me to the airport for my Christmas flight home. At midnight my roommate decides that now is the time to back out of the ride deal and I found myself searching the webz for a shuttle to the airport the next morning. The only option to make my flight was a 920 pick up at my house. I fell out of bed at 630 the next morning, packed my dismembered rolling carry-on with as many pairs of potentially dirty socks and underwear as it would hold, and stumbled out of the house at 8am in the general direction of Crest. I bellowed my story to Leo. Leo was concerned. He rushed me to the back and pulled me through acres of freshly pressed suits, dresses and... full size animal costumes(?). Leo was more disappointed than I when our search came up empty. He promised me that the suit must be in the machine now and would have been finished by noon without a doubt. Finally, he brought me to the front and was turning me away with his sincerest apologies when suddenly his face lit up like his toe just found its way into a 220 volt electrical outlet. Without a word he blasted through the wall of Cotton and polyester hanging behind him like a Narnian hunting for home. Moments later - a cry of victory, and Leo emerged from the fabric jungle - my fine Macy's suit in hand. "I DID put a red tag on it!", "I thought you looked rushed yesterday so I cleaned it before I left!" he explained. 5 minutes of pressing later and my suit looked almost Italian in its glory and I was on my way. My only honest complaint is that there was no spot for a tip on the credit card receipt. Children's fiction novel references aside - this place is an excellent family owned business with your best interests at heart. Go to them. Go NOW! read more

Leo and Evelyn are truly wonderful at what they do! I've been bringing a few works shirts here for dry cleaning and I'm amazed at the stains that they can get out. They always go over each piece with me when I drop it off to inspect for stains. Last week I brought a white lace dress in that I had worn to my wedding rehearsal dinner a year ago and hung back in my closet without cleaning. When I pulled it out last week it had several food stains down the front as well as yellow discoloration on the sleeves. Evelyn warned me that it would be very difficult to clean as the lace was delicate (I had already ripped part of the lace on the sleeve), but I got it back good as new! Evelyn even fixed the sleeve which was above and beyond what I had hoped for! I will definitely be back! read more

I had a grey suit with some mysterious brown stains splattered sporadically throughout which were several months if not over a year old. I had had it dry cleaned at another facility which came fairly highly recommended, but the stains didn't come out. I had pretty much written it off as ruined, but decided to try Crest based on mostly favorable reviews on Yelp. The people at Crest were skeptical, as they were clear to point out that many stains that sit this long permanently change the color of the fabric. However, I am thrilled that they were able to get all the stains out, saving one of my favorite suits for less than ten bucks. Can't recommend them highly enough. read more
