I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my 2020 Cadillac CT5, which I purchased a year ago. The CT5 was my dream car, but given the ongoing issues I have experienced, I am incredibly disappointed with the vehicle and the brand. Since my purchase, the car has been back to the dealership numerous times for repairs. On my very first week of ownership, the check engine light came on. Since then, I have dealt with a noisy sunroof, and the car is currently at the dealership for the backup camera for the fourth time. Furthermore, my warranty expired in June, and the tire sensor has now gone out. I recently visited the dealership to see if Cadillac could assist me in transitioning out of this vehicle and into something newer. However, the only option presented was a payment of $900 a month, which is unacceptable given the circumstances. After this experience, I do not foresee myself purchasing another Cadillac in the future. I called and lined up a test drive and met with Jason a sales rep. He was friendly and knowledgeable- not a high pressure car salesman type at all. He explained Crestview is family owned and that they sell cars at sticker, so no markup to have to negotiate down. I was able to qualify for a couple promotions and managed to save even more money. I spoke to the sales manager about some of them, and he also confirmed they don't play games, they're pretty straightforward on pricing. I was very happy with the deal and drove away that day with the car I had been looking for! Fast forward 2 weeks later and I hear a terrible sound coming from my brakes. I was sure the caliper was seized and it was going to need repair. Cadillac roadside assistance wanted to send me to the closest dealer but couldn't confirm when they would get my car or how long repair would take. I told them I wanted to go to Crestview because I had a good relationship. I texted Jason after hours on a weekend and he assured me he would be there on a Sunday to take my car from the tow truck and get it in for service first thing Monday morning. Both Jason and the sales manager called me first thing Monday morning and they made my repair a priority. Turns out a rock got stuck in the brakes and was a relatively easy fix. They gave the car a complete safety inspection, even though it only had 600 mi on it, and even washed it for me. James was exceptionally attentive and incredibly patient. To be honest, my mom can be a hard customer especially at her age now. She's picky, indecisive, and flip flops a lot on her decisions which can make it tough on me to move forward with things despite it being necessary. Our old Cadillac Escalade was on its last legs so we came in hoping to find a new one. I personally preferred a smaller car so we went with the XT6 below the Escalade. There was a silver one but it unfortunately got taken really fast by a couple who was there before us! Luckily, James found us a great option despite it being white. White isn't typically a color my mom wants but the pricing was better than the silver and the miles on it were still very little. Even better, the license plate had numbers my mom liked since she's superstitious about that!! Car buying process is always long but James did his best to help us out, answer our questions, etc. Since we couldn't take the car away same day, he was even willing to show up on his day off the next day to assist us with taking our new XT6 away. His patience and understanding has really made everything slightly less stressful. Strongly Not Recommended - Post-Return Charges & Credit Damage I am writing this review to warn others about my very disappointing and concerning experience with Crestview Cadillac, specifically regarding a vehicle lease return. On the day I returned the leased vehicle, I was clearly told by their staff that there were no issues with the car. I paid all required fees in full, and I signed the return documents confirming everything was settled. At no point during the return process was I informed--verbally or in writing--that there would be any additional maintenance or service charges. However, after the vehicle had already been returned, I later received an email stating that I supposedly owed an additional $600 maintenance fee. This directly contradicted what I was told at the time of return. What made this situation even worse: * There was no in-person notification at the time of return * The charge was communicated only by email * I do not check my email daily * After about one month, the balance was sent to collections * As a result, my credit score was negatively impacted To be clear: I was never informed at the time of return that I owed this amount, yet I was later charged $600 AND had my credit damaged because of it. When I contacted the sales team to dispute this, I was told: "This is company policy, there's nothing we can do." That response is unacceptable. This is not transparent business practice--it feels like post-return billing with zero accountability, where the burden and consequences are pushed entirely onto the customer. I am sharing this experience to caution others: Do not assume "everything is fine" just because they say so at return Unexpected charges may appear later These charges can seriously affect your credit without proper notice Because of this experience, I will never do business with this dealership again, and I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when leasing or returning vehicles here. read more

Poor Communication & Lack of Customer Support On July 28th, I woke up to find my Cadillac in the middle of a software update in my garage. The note on the screen said it would take about 15 minutes. A couple of hours later, the update was complete, but the car could not detect the key and would not start. I called Crestview Cadillac and spoke with Eddie Delira, the service manager. We tried troubleshooting, but nothing worked, so he advised me to call a tow. The first tow truck couldn't move the vehicle because the parking brake wouldn't release, and my truck blocked any chance of easily pulling the car out. Over the next several days, this became a frustrating cycle: Eddie would say he was sending help, but tow trucks would either arrive late, show up with only one driver for a two-person job, or have the wrong type of truck. For four days, I was stuck without my car, having to move my own truck in an extremely tight space to avoid damaging either vehicle or my garage. At 68, with shoulder pain, I ended up physically helping tow drivers drag my Cadillac 50 feet out of the garage--tires locked--just so it could be loaded. Even then, the flatbed took another four hours to arrive. Once the car finally reached the shop, it sat there over the weekend. By Monday--day 8--there was still no fix. I had to follow up every time; they never proactively called me. Updates eventually came only through short text messages. After 10 days without my car, the issue turned out to be nothing more than a dead battery. Throughout the process, I was never offered a loaner vehicle, which made things difficult since my other vehicle is a heavy-duty truck meant for commercial use. When I picked up my Cadillac, the only "extra" offered was a quick run through the car wash--no detailing, no real effort to make up for the inconvenience on a six-month-old, $115,000 car. While Eddie was professional in tone, the dealership's lack of urgency, poor communication, and minimal customer care were extremely disappointing. It felt like they were quick to take my money when I bought the car but unwilling to stand behind their service afterward. I won't be returning here for service in the future. read more
