Excellent workmanship installing a ducted Daikin heat pump that replaced our old central AC and gas furnace and a Navien heat pump water heater plus Grundfos hot water recirculating pump. It's been a month and we're very happy with all the work. I thought moving the location of the water heater to the garage would be complicated but Alex and Sergei got everything done in 3.5 days. Amazing! The county inspector complimented us on the excellent work! Not only was the work satisfactory, the total cost was considerably lower than three other estimates. I will not hesitate to consider Cronus for future projects.

Alex came by today to check the issue on our split AC unit because it was working but it has a noise and shut down by itself last week. Alex checked everything to see the cause of the issue. But everything seems to be working well. The code on the motherboard is pretty good the condenser itself is normal and the. Great customer care and service done by young Alex today. He make sure everything is working well before he left. And he keep telling us incase some issues happened again. Give them a call and take some pictures and videos and they will send someone. Great service and care with the CRONOS.

They were able to book us for an appointment quickly and Alex came very promptly. He took care of our issue and got our AC running again in no time! And plus because it was minor and he just needed to put tape on a tripped circuit, he said he will not have to charge us. We really appreciate the honest service! Alex D is the best!! He will show up on same day and make sure he able to fix it on same day. My ac wasn't working on very hot day 100 degree with 7 people in the house especially a toddler. It was quick response and solve the issue immediately. He always has parts in his hands and very respectful. Also he's honest with everything. Other company tried to tell me because it was my fault to not do the maintenance on my ac unit by cleaning (i never knew that i supposed to do that) it's on roof.... Anyway they said they charged me for their service to show up then will charge for the part itself and labor. Which it's UNDER the warranty by their company. They were ones who installed and now they aren't honest with warranty and accused me for the dirt got in to cause the damage which it's not entirely true. It can be one of factors sure but they weren't honest and it's part of the power that went out due the heatwave lately that caused overworking on the power which it makes more sense! Alex will show up at your door and make sure he will provide you the full service with honest. Thankyou Alex!

Alex troubleshooting the heat pump late at night.

A/C was somehow blowing warm air, called Crown to schedule an appointment. Alex showed up on time, as promised, and was able to quickly troubleshoot the issue. A/C is now working as intended. This is the third time in the past few months I have called Crown, each time they show up on time, are very organized, efficient and very competent. Highly recommended, very highly recommended, indeed. PS. Not sure why my first review, back in late January has not posted. Alex showed up back then after hours to troubleshoot the heat pump, even in the darkness.

Our house had an old breaker panel that was full. We bought a Leaf and were using the 120v charger it came with but it would often cause the breaker for the garage circuit to trip. We got by for a while by making sure we kept everything else on that connection off but it would still occasionally trip. The solution Cronus provided was to install a new breaker panel (besides the old panel not having room for another breaker, our existing breaker's were obsolete), new wires from the panel to the garage, and a high voltage universal charger. So now our charger has its own dedicated lines to the panel and its own breaker. Sergei and Ivan came out the first day, Ivan and Roman finished up the second. They were courteous, competent, and professional. We were only without power for part of the first day. Everything Cronus worked on has been great. We are enjoying not having the breaker trip, but also being able to have the garage or driveway lights on while charging our car and the security of knowing we are not overloading our house wiring. We are glad to have used Cronus for this work and plan to use their services again in the future (our water heater is very old).

This morning, Cronus' tech Alex did a great job fixing our downstairs air conditioning unit. I was able to get a same morning appointment. I requested quotes from five AC companies and most of them were overpriced- the highest was over $25k. There were others that were less. Cronus service came out the lowest, so I went with them. Sergei, Dennis, and Alex were very professional. They actually shook my hand and introduced themselves. It was a two day install, temps were hot but they kept on working and didn't stop until the install was completed. At the end of the day this company and the workers at top notch. Amazing service! They responded to me within a few minutes and had someone available to come out right away. My AC was working ok but the unit outside was making really loud noises. They diagnosed within minutes (screws on the outside of the unit were loose) and didn't charge me anything for the service call since it was an easy fix. We noticed condensation dripping from the HVAC secondary drain line near the eaves. No condensation was coming from the main line where it normally should drip. Alex was extremely helpful in explaining the issue, and giving us options. After following his direction, the issue, a clogged drain line, is resolved. He also inspected our system and we discussed the possibility of moving to a new heat pump HCAC system. The Cronus team provided us a good estimate. While we haven't decided if we're ready to make that change yet, if we do, we would be happy to go with Cronus due to our positive experience with them. read more

I contacted Cronus after finding them on Yelp for their help fixing an issue with my AC. They responded quickly and had great availability to send Alex D. to take care of my issue. Our air conditioner is not working so my wife called Cronos. They told her she shouldn't be paying for the repair since it was previously repaired and should be under warranty. Last Saturday, during an extremely hot day, my tenant called me around 9 PM with an urgent AC issue. I reached out to several repair shops, including Cronus Service, but no one was available at that hour. Even for the next day, most places couldn't commit to a time and were charging high emergency fees -- without guarantees. Then I called Alex. He returned my call within minutes and, to my surprise, agreed to head out right then. Within 30 minutes, the AC was up and running again! My tenant was incredibly happy and thankful. Alex was truly a godsend. Even though I have a great and cooperative tenant, extreme temperatures can make things very uncomfortable. To find someone willing to help so quickly and effectively was beyond fortunate. Highly recommend Alex -- responsive, reliable, and genuinely helpful when it mattered most. read more

I called two other places during this heat wave and Cronus was the Most responsive and took the time to come and assessed my HVAC needs. Our AC Unit blew out. They gave me their honest opinions and options. Also called manufacturer to help find my unit's warranty. Dennis eased my worries by explaining the whole process to me. Sergi the tech was on each time he was scheduled, his communication was superb, took the time to ensure the job was done right and that everything was working properly. Sergi worked from 9am-3pm. He was dedicated. I can tell he is very prideful of his work. I didn't have to spend unnecessary money at Cronus. This is a Honest company, does great work, and reliable. Highly recommend them! They did not install the correct size return vent so our heater kept overheating. It would cycle on and off every few minutes and say it was heating when no air was moving. We literally had them come out 4 times before they found out what the issue one. The first 3 times they gaslit us and said that is was our Nest or a draft in an interior wall... I think they have only one good employee because the 4th guy to show up told us he liked to get paid for his overtime and would stick around until he got to the cause of the problem. Also when they finally "fixed" the return vent to a proper sized, they botched the install and had cracks in the ceiling and random screws sticking out in places. So they had to come back again to fix that mistake.

He was very thorough and took a lot of reference photos and explained what he was doing. We agreed to look at getting a new system and set up a meeting with Kyle for later the afternoon. Kyle was also amazing and went over the pricing and options, you never want to pay for a new AC unit but it's a necessity here so and they made sure we had a great deal. Hmmmm. They use expensive AC capacitors…read more I picked out Rey's Air because it has a 4.9 Yelp rating. You can't always judge Yelp's rating by its cover. Our AC went on the blink yesterday. It's less than ten years old and is used minimally. The unit's interior house fan and exterior AC fan remained working but the compressor failed to engage. The air was not being chilled. I'm old. 76. I know that capacitors commonly fail and I have had them replaced over the years. Rey' Air quoted $79 to take a look. What could go wrong. On the positive side Rey's Air arrived promptly the next day. On the negative side, after about a half hour of perusing, the tech said that he determined that I likely have a bad capacitor. He recommended replacing it, or even upgrading to a better capacitor unit (for $200 "more") When I asked what the 'regular' capacitor replacement would be, he said $285. I hesitated. I said that's a lot for a capacitor. (Home Depot sells them for as little as $10 to $20 for the part). He said everything is expensive or something to that effect. I said okay. Let's just get it done. I did not want to go through more torment with another AC outfit. I said let's just go with the "cheaper chicken". Then the tech began adding. He said okay. "So that's 285 plus 79 (the show up fee). That's $364! (for a $10 part). I think I said 'yikes'. That is an 'expensive capacitor'. After a couple of minutes the tech relented agreeing to "only charge me" $285 for the half hour of looking (and five minute replacing). Bottom line: Fair price for fair service is all we ask. I see some gouging here. I understand that there are times when changing a capacitor's price should go up. As when there are hazardous or miserable conditions including problematic accessibility, or with lengthy or repeated driving times. None of that applied. Short drive. Open and shady and cool work space. If Rey's were to have charged $180 or even $200 for the tech's 30 minutes attendance, that would have been fair and profitable. Two star rating is best I can do. .

I used Yelp to put a blanket request for the Sacramento area, and Stress Free Auto reached out right away! I was able to take my car in first thing the next morning and was greeted in such a friendly and warm way. Knowing they had a few jobs ahead of me, they called a niiiice Lyft and made sure I got home free of charge! From there the communication was excellent. There were continual texts that provided information about their progress not only with searching for the main problem, but also a general overall inspection of my vehicle. Once complete they sent me an estimate, I called to coordinate which things I wanted repaired/addressed, and they sent over a finalized quote that I signed immediately. It was quick, informative, and quite literally stress free The main problem was a cracked exhaust manifold. Seems like an extensive repair, right? Well, they let me know later that afternoon that they were done! Amazing same day service! Absolutely incredible. It's been a month since the repair and I haven't had any issues. So, in my book, that's a job well done! The only small gripe I have is the cost. Again, it was same day service, so it's understandable that I might have paid more than I would have at another local shop, but they did offer a discount on the initial inspection cost. Some other shops roll the inspection cost into the cost of repairs, but unfortunately Stress Free doesn't do that. Plus, a couple of suggested repairs were somewhat of a laughable cost. If memory serves, they quoted me around $60 to replace wipers. I'm not sure if it was a quote for all 3, or just one, but I spent $15 on a wiper on the way home and installed it myself. Whatever, they are trying to make money! Despite my small price gripe, I will be using Stress Free in the future for any vehicle concerns I have!

We had a really great experience with Chronus Heating & Air over Memorial Day weekend. From the first phone call to the final diagnostic, everything was smooth, responsive, and easy. They were able to get us a same-day appointment, which we honestly didn't expect during a busy holiday weekend and heat wave. We also have a baby at home and were starting to worry about his room getting too warm, so getting everything fixed quickly was a huge relief. Our technician, Alex, was awesome. Super friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and very thorough the whole time. He even wore protective boot covers inside the house, which we really appreciated. Alex quickly figured out the issue and explained that our capacitor had failed, so power wasn't properly reaching the condenser. He walked us through everything in a way that was easy to understand and showed us exactly what was going on. Once we approved the repair, he replaced the part quickly and kept running additional checks to make sure everything was working properly. We recently hired Cronus HVAC to install a third zone in our home to make the master bathroom more comfortable for my wife, and the results have been beyond my expectations. Last year my home AC started to have issues cooling the house down and would run constantly. I had another company come out and they diagnosed I most likely had a minor leak in the evaporator coils as they had to add 5 pounds of refrigerant.....they checked the outside unit but did not check the evaporator coils upstairs. Their recommendation was to just add refrigerant every year as needed as the other option they presented was to just replace the entire system which would cost upwards of $20,000. I had the same issue this year and called Cronus Service based on the reviews left by other customers. Alex showed up the same day and diagnosed the problem. He checked the system and found it to be completely empty of refrigerant. Alex went up into the house and found the leak in the evaporator coils easily. He showed me pictures and stated it could be repaired without having to replace the entire system. In a few days Ivan and Alex came back and replaced the evaporator coils, added refrigerant and tested the system which is now working perfectly! Prior to this, I had my AC inspected by a maintenance expert I've relied on for years. He replaced the motor, but my AC remained ineffective at cooling and the coils would excessively get frosty. Firstly, it was evident that my AC was severely dirty and in dire need of cleaning. Secondly, the previously replaced motor was incorrect. My AC stopped blowing cold air yesterday morning. After looking at different HVAC companies and their reviews. I called Cronus first thing this morning and luckily, they were able to get someone out here by 11. I got a text message from the company about an hour before the appointment letting me know that Ion D is on their way. He showed up and checked everything. Very respectful and very honest. Come to find out my capacitor broke. He suggested that it get replaced as well as getting the maintenance package and he showed me that the coil was completely covered. The technician was on time, and conducted a free diagnosis. He identified the problem quickly and explained what was going on. I understood and it made sense. He gave me a written estimate on my phone and I agreed to the service. He ordered the parts and came back in a couple days to make the repairs, which were a circuit breaker and a capacitor on my condenser unit. Since, I wasn't home when he made the repairs he took pictures of everything, without me even making a request for them, and sent them to my phone. Within 5 minutes, they reached out to me, and said they had a guy out already near my house. 5 Stars for Cronus HVAC Service! I had a major issue with my AC not cooling during a scorching day, and Cronus HVAC Service came to the rescue. The technician showed up right on time, quickly diagnosed a faulty capacitor, and replaced it without any hassle. He was up on the roof handling the unit like a pro (as seen in the photo I snapped), and the whole house was cooling again in no time. Super efficient, professional, and reasonably priced.
