The food here is really good. The first time I gave 5 stars. Then on Saturday July 25th we had the lead singer for Skid Row bartending. Let me tell you about this snake. My wife asked for the house Chardonnay. He gave her a more expensive glass without telling her but had no problem charging her for it! We were staying in the attached hotel, so we asked for a round to go to take back to our room. Skid Row then asked my wife if she wanted a double, since the glasses were small. She said yes. Perhaps our server, Jordyn, was having a bad day. That would possibly explain why she couldn't have possibly interacted with us less during our visit and didn't allow me to order more than eatrr to drink, and certainly didn't ask if we wanted dessert. It wasn't particularly busy but the floors were littered with debris towards the restrooms and the 2 people stationed at the host stand had ample time to play "catch" with the toilet paper inside the men's and women's restrooms as I waited to make use of the facilities... Ordered the walleye for dinner super greasy and way too much breading. The oil was so hot that it looked burnt and tasted burnt. Couldn't continue to ear. The waiter/bartended said nothing when they took the plate away - obviously it was a full plate. I assumed they thought it was OK. Came back in the morning for breakfast . Stopped by here on our way home during a road trip from Montana. It is separate from but attached to the hotel next door. Friday evening at 8:00pm and they had what looked like maybe 3 servers working the entire floor, and the overall service reflected that. Pet peeve of mine (and maybe it's growing "old man syndrome") but our server never introduced us or talked up the specials for that day/month. Drinks arrived nearly 15 minutes after we were seated. Went with the Pepper Jack Lucy... and like the warning in the menu, watch the first few bites! Tasty but super hot from all that melted cheese wedged between the patties. Great happy hour menu. Lots of value here when you come during the happy hour from discounts on burgers well drinks, beer is wines and flatbreads. I had the juicy Lucy mushroom burger it was very good and full of flavor. Service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive to be truthful. I actually miss their old menu because now it's fairly limited flatbreads burgers, and your typical bar bites. Nothing fancy here but good bar food. read more

Easter Brunch was great, and our waitress, Brooklyn, was terrific--she provided us with excellent service and made the experience truly special. However, what completely ruined it was the surprise "service charge" added to our bill--over $40 that doesn't go to the staff, but to the restaurant's own operating costs. That is something customers should never be expected to cover, and nowhere was it clearly stated beforehand. What made it worse? When we asked about it, the manager never came to our table to explain anything. We weren't going to sit around waiting for someone who clearly didn't value keeping a customer or taking responsibility for this confusing charge. They just wanted the money, plain and simple. It's especially unfair to the staff--Brooklyn did all the work, but this charge undercuts her tips. That said, we did not undercut her. We gave her a fair tip because she earned it, and she deserved it, regardless of how the restaurant chose to overcharge us. If the restaurant needs more money, they should raise menu prices, not sneak in fees that scale with the bill. The higher the total, the higher the charge, even though we didn't receive anything extra than other diners. And let's be honest--clearly those service charges aren't being used to keep the restaurant clean, because the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. We will never return and will inform others about this hidden charge. There are too many great places out there that are transparent, clean, and treat both customers and staff with respect. read more

This place has impeccable service and food. We came up from Omaha to watch a basketball game and they were packed. With that said, they kept the food and drinks moving and the rotation of people coming and going was smooth. Highly recommend the Pickle Lucy! So good. Excellent selection of beers and cocktails too. We came in on a Friday night after driving from Grand Forks for a volleyball tournament in Sioux Falls. First we ordered drinks for the adults and lemonade for the kids along with some nachos. We had to send the nachos back, the cheese was cold and the deep fried jalapeños were cold and greasy from sitting around. They did heat them up and they came back cold again. My wife ordered clam chowder, also had to send back because it was cold. Once heated up she said it was very good. I got the fish with a 1/2 pound of pub fries. I got 8 little waffle fries. No complaints. This restaurant is on the same property as the Holiday Inn we were staying at on business. My co-worker had recommended it and we ate there twice. The interior of this place is spacious and the service was fast and friendly. The views out the window were of the golf course and greens which are beautifully kept. I had the salmon salad twice and it was delicious both times. I also tried an order of their buffalo wings which were also spot on. They seemed to have a great drink selection of both beers and bourbons at least. I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again although I think they would do well to add some steak options to their menu. We stayed at the holiday inn attached to the restaurant for a hockey tournament. Each morning we went to get breakfast there. It was not busy and very poorly staffed. Our last morning we got sat at a table and the waitress took our drink order and brought back our coffee and waters and she never came back to our table. Great place to have some food and drinks while catchng the game, but it took quite a long time to get any wait staff to take our orders.

Waited over an hour for our food and never got our food. We had to leave hungry back to our training class.

The pretzel bun and the fries were my favorite part of this meal. This burger was a disgrace to the "Jucy Lucy" name. The cheese was almost nonexistent on the inside of the burger. The "beer cheese" tasted nothing like beer cheese. Unless I didn't get any cheese, as stated above. It was around $15 for the meal. It was a very small burger. I could get a meal 2x the size of this one, along with an adult beverage, at my favorite Jucy Lucy joint in the Twin Cities, for the same price. In addition, I watched a bartender make a drink for a customer. Some of the drink was splashed over the side. The bartender used a dirty bar dishrag to wipe the rim of the glass.
