But I'm a teacher, I need to get to school to work, and public transit is not a viable option for the schools where I teach. I almost never reach out to my family if I have problems, but this time I did (I had no idea what to do). And, miracle of miracles, our family had a car available that my father had convinced one of my step siblings not to trade in. With proper care, this car will (easily) last another 15 years. So now we had to coordinate moving this miracle car from NJ to MN. My father did the original rounds of research, saying the price would be about $1k and might take a couple months to get here. Months?! Every day the car wasn't here was another day I couldn't work. I like paying my bills and eating food sometimes. I contacted the U.S. Consumer Auto Transport Authority to see if I could do better than "months", and they referred me to MoveAuto. MoveAuto was a couple hundred more than the basement priced companies (which were quoting about $1k), but here's the difference - instead of being a broker like the cheap guys, trying for weeks to recruit a driver to transport your car at insanely low rates, MoveAuto has their own drivers. This means you don't have to guess too much when it comes to when the car will get to you. I got a hold of them Friday, and they picked up the car from my dad at 8 a.m. Monday morning. The car was with me by Wednesday, with no damage at all. I have to add that my father is a very strong-willed and occasionally truculent older fellow, and MoveAuto did a great job at telling him what he had to do before shipping while treating him with respect. I am so grateful to MoveAuto for removing the stress from a very stressful situation. I've had my car for almost a month now, and every day I am grateful to have it. Thank you for doing what you do.

I bought a car and I was looking around for quotes to transport that car back to me. One of these…read morescammy brokers got the pickup and drop off addresses somehow and they posted my load on load board without my consent and without any official order. Turns out that load was accepted by a driver and the vehicle was picked up without notifying me. When I tried contacting the broker (from the details mentioned on BOL), they tried to trick me (but failed) into signing a blind contract (via a link with OTP authorization that auto signs the contract) and asked me to pay a deposit. They threatened me that the driver can charge any amount he likes if I don't sign the contract. I refused to sign. Thankfully my car arrived in almost the same condition as it left the lot. The driver was very courteous and was equally unaware of these scammers. I paid the driver the amount he agreed to when he accepted to pick the load. Upon searching further, it looks like USA Diagonal Services (a.k.a UDS Auto Logistics) is a group of scammers operating in India who use this pattern regularly to scam people to pay a deposit first and when they can't find a driver and when users ask to cancel the order, they disappear or keep stalling without any refund in sight. They claim to operate under Mercury Auto Transport. They also lowball customers initially with too good to be true quotes and at the last minute of the pick up, they raise the prices to 2-3x. And in some hopeful cases, when they can assign a driver, at the time of delivery, the customer is forced to pay the driver the amount the driver agreed to when they accepted the load, which is usually way more than what the customer was quoted initially. So if they quoted the customer 1500 total, they would ask for a deposit of 200 initially, and tell the customer to pay the remaining $1300 to the driver in cash. But no, the customer has to pay the driver 1500 because that is the amount the driver agreed to in the first place. To put it simply, these scammers take advantage of both the customer and the driver with their lie, deceit and bait-and-switch scheme. Avoid them at all cost! I'd say avoid anyone with a fake accent who promises you too good to be true prices. They are most likely scammers. On the other hand, I had a booking with Sherpa Auto Transport which I had to cancel immediately after discovering what UDS a.k.a USA Diagonal did to me, and Sherpa was kind enough to refund me the cancellation charge while also empathizing with my situation. They were the true professionals!

First off let me tell you that the car shipping business is cut throat and full of liars…read more So basically here's how it works with almost all companies. They are brokers, not actual shippers. They have a software program called the Load Board that all the brokers use and they can all see who has quoted what price. So they will contact you and try and undercut the other guys, but yet they still have to wait for an actual driver/shipper to accept the load. I was highly skeptical to say the least when this company contacted me regarding shipping a classic car across the country. I read their reviews which were horrible. I discussed their reviews with them to which they stated other companies will post negative reviews to try to steer people away from their company. So, being a bit of a gambler, I allowed them to quote my shipment as they stated they had drivers they worked directly with that run the route weekly. I had already cancelled with two other brokers as they didn't follow through on their promises to get it shipped. UDS stated they could ship for $600, which is what everyone else was alleging as well. It ended up being $710, as they did renegotiate the price after booking me a driver. That I didn't care for, but it was still a great price in my opinion, and I didn't have the luxury of time on my side to wait longer. They put me in contact with a driver who showed up when and where he said he would and within the timeframe given. He loaded up the vehicle and off he went and I was able to track him and his route. I paid $110 to the broker via a credit card and the rest was to be paid in cash upon delivery to the driver. I cannot emphasize enough, DO NOT PAY any other way than a credit card for the broker. That way you have recourse with a credit card company to dispute a charge if need be. The driver took a ton of photos of the car prior to loading to document any damage on the car, which there was none. But it safeguards you that he does that. The driver had the vehicle in Las Vegas in about 4 days and it was basically a problem free procedure. No issues at all with UDS. Just know how the process works and always ask if they're a broker or an actual shipper with drivers. Almost all are not. They will make promises they can't keep to get your booking, so not pay a dime until they put you in contact with a driver. Other than the slight upcharge, UDS did what they said they'd do and got it done extremely quick. It was a matter of a couple days before the truck arrived to pickup from the time they contacted me.

I looked at a lot of reviews for different transport companies and fixed upon SF Auto Shipping (also called USA Auto Transport). The driver, Mr. Bold, was very communicative about when he would be picking up the car, which had to be in a large parking lot due to the size of the trailer. This is one thing that people should be prepared for, that the vehicle can't necessarily be picked up at one's home address. I met him at a shopping center in Ann Arbor and, after taking photos (me), and marking scratches (him), etc. turned over the car keys to him. Bye bye! I think the trip was 6 days. I picked up the vehicle at a designated lot in Oakland and, apart from some squashed insects on a car of the car, it was in fine shape. It was on an open trailer so that is understandable. The office staff was very communicative during the few days when the departure date was uncertain. All in all, I was satisfied with the experience and, in fact, am preparing to ship the car back to Ann Arbor with USA Auto Transport.

After getting a few quotes, and having a few people contact me immediately through the app, I was about to go with a car transporter when I decided to call Brian. Told him my story and Brian was really friendly, honest and upfront. I decided to cancel the broker I was working with and go with Brian. It actually worked out too because he was going down to Vegas. I wasn't in a rush. We kept an eye on the weather. And it just so happened to work out. Brian provided constant communication and great customer service. I can't say enough on how knowledgeable Brian is and how safe I felt having Brian take my vehicle. He gave me a closed transport for a single vehicle at a fair price. He does such a great job I could not have asked for better service. It's always great to work with an owner operator and not a broker. Highly highly highly recommend Brian for any service he offers. Thanks again Brian, it was a pleasure working with you!

I needed to get my car to Los Angeles to a trusted mechanic in a short period of time, and made the mistake of contacting a broker unkowingly. In my frustration (receiving dozens and dozens of calls and offers from brokers and not the services themselves), I reached out to a classic car group and Brian with BSB TRANSPORT LLC. was very highly recommended. And I'm so glad to have found him. Brian arrived at the exact time he mentioned, and with delicate care, loaded my beloved car, and the next call I received was from my mechanic that the car was delivered safe and sound. A few weeks later as the car was nearly done, I called Brian and he scheduled the pickup with a bit of leeway in case the mechanic needed more time. I received my car a few days ago and prior to that a detailed overview of the car before the delivery (photos, descriptions, and delivery quote via email) put my mind entirely at ease. I'm so happy having found Brian and BSB TRANSPORT LLC., a stand alone no-broker service for delivering cars with perfect ease of mind. I'll be using this service and highly recommending it to anyone needed safe, secure, peace of mind delivery at a fair and honest cost. Well done Brian.
