I waited over 15min to get a server to even come to my table. Then I asked for a water and never received it so I left after 30min to go look at other options around. I came back because this was the only sit down restaurant in the terminal. I sat at the bar and waited another 10min for a server. I asked for a water to start. Never received one. He came back and asked if I decided to order and if I wanted something to drink. I asked for a menu and a water. He stated, "I'm not giving you a water until you order." I stated that is not allowed and I plan to order just not sure what I wanted yet. He stated, "I'm just telling you how it is." He came back again 15min later and asked if I wanted to order. I stated what I wanted and I wanted it to-go because I was tired of the rudeness at this point. He took my order and brought me a to-go water. The order came out about another 15min later. I signed my check and left. The food is a little bland and has very little flavor. It looks great but not the best taste. Almost artificial and like a can cheese kind of taste. The overall feel of the place was that they didn't care if you ate or not and were not very friendly. It is unfortunate that this is the only restaurant option in the terminal, especially when your flight is delayed for multiple hours. read more

Started with a strawberry ice tea and it was outstanding in flavor and coolness! Cute little bar and food area in the airport. Lots of available seating. Tried the chicken tenders and Fred. Delicious! Thomasina was friendly and fabulous as well. read more

Staff is polite, but for the numbers of folks wearing company tee shirts, someone could be working to resolve shortages at this busy RIC airport location. If I have to eat at the RIC airport this is usually my place of choice. They have good selection of local draft beer also. Of course it's way too expensive but that is everything at the airport. We had chili, which was very good. The chicken sandwich left a little to be desired, more of a flat patty. But all the drinks were delicious. The wine, beer, and bourbon. Walter was our waiter and he was fanatic! He kept the kids entertained and drinks plentiful. read more

RVA airport food. I had an afternoon flight to CA and I had skipped out on breakfast. I needed something and saw that this place was "popping". I sat down and was served pretty quickly with the menu. I know that it can get pretty busy so I quickly decided on the Richmond BLT and Kentucky Blackberry cocktail (to calm my nerves). I put my order in pretty quickly and when my food came out I actually requested my check because, as I mentioned before, they can get pretty busy and I didn't want to be panic when my flight starts boarding. The service was really quick and our servers was friendly and hepful! The good was very good and definitely filling. Can you also really mess up a BLT order? haha. The cocktail was very...generous - my type of drink haha. Overall, positive experience. Glad I stopped by here to grab some food before my flight. read more

I mean, it's AIRPORT food...how good does it really have to be? You are basically held captive in the Concourse, there is only one restaurant and a book stand so you either eat $10 fried pickles or starve, right? That's about how tasty the food is. It isn't "bad" but they also didn't make any effort to make it good either. Fried pickles and French fries was our meal (partially because they only sell fried foods after 7 PM) and nearly everything else we asked for was not available. The "manager looking" guy was outgoing, and when I told him I was a vegan, (and his jalapeño poppers or mozzarella sticks were a no-go for me), he offered to go downstairs and retrieve more pickles. I appreciate his thoughtfulness. If this were a stand alone restaurant, I probably would not return. But inside the Richmond International Airport it's the only spot to eat in Concourse A, so I will probably be back. The view in this place is nice, though--and they made the window seat the coolest seat in the house! read more

Grabbed a few drinks while waiting for a flight. As expected, incredibly expensive ($20 a drink). Decent selection although several of the drinks on the menu were out of stock (including most of the wines). The bartender was friendly. There is three people behind bar. Three people in kitchen. Only one server. Other than server there is no sense of urgency. We have been sitting here for at least 30 minutes. I cleaned the table myself so we could sit down. If we didn't have so much time before our flight I would just leave. The food had better be worth it. 1/5 Stars read more

Fortunately I had a lot of time but if I'd been in a rush I would have had to skip the drinks entirely. That being said, Tyler was great.
