The four out of five stars that it has is clearly not because of their burgers. Quite underwhelming. For $14 I thought I might get possibly two slices of tomato and two pieces of cheese, one on each patty, or even a special bun, but looks like they're doing some cost cutting. I gave it an extra star because the sweet potato tots were pretty good but the burger is 2/5 stars. It's sort of compares to a Hardee's six dollar burger, but with that one, you get more cheese and toppings. The place itself looks like it could hold a lot of people and the bar looked well stocked, a place to maybe watch a game and have a beer.

We could've easily taken down another plate of these. They had a tomato hand pie special that we also really enjoyed, as well as the crab hush puppies. We liked our entrees (swordfish and the smash burger, which wasn't really a smash burger but was still a solid burger), but enjoyed the small plates much more. The catfish sandwich was good, but nowhere near the quality of the Arctic char, which was savory and delicious and elevated by the brown butter and golden raisins. Since it was restaurant week the dessert was included in the price so we got the apple cranberry fry pie And the chocolate ganache bar. Both were a nice way to end the meal. Tasty but not mind blowing. With the kids we ordered Gnac attack, Proper Dose, American Love Call, and Bebot. Again they were all so good but for me the Proper Dose and Gnac attack were the best. I did not have a car, so I decided that I would see with the holiday and had to offer as far as food. I honestly cannot comment on the quality of the food as I never got any. It may be very good for all I know. After waiting for a minute or two at the hostess station, I was finally seated. They are ironic thing was no one was there and I was told to pick any table I want, which I could've done that on my own anyway without a host. I was seated and noted on the menu, that there were no healthy options. Any chicken on the menu is either Friday or covered in cheese. But, it was cold, I'm from Florida, and the choices were this, or the Wawa gas station down the road. Then the weight began. And I waited, and waited. I was in the bar area and it seemed that the bartender who did have at least five customers at the bar was also responsible for all of the tables. if anyone else was supposed to help out, I never saw them. And I waited... I finally decided that the Wawa gas station was the way to go. As I got up the bartender did notice me. she seemed genuinely distressed that she, nor anyone else had actually noticed me. Mind you I was only about 8 feet away but I do not necessarily blame her as she did have a bunch of people at the bar plus all of the tables. I had already decided that the Wawa gas station would be my choice so I did get up and leave. Again, I'm not angry with her as she did seem very distressed about my predicament, but my thought was, why reward Holiday Inn for poor organization and poor service? I don't took off into the wind, was stinging freezing rain hitting me, but, at least I knew that the Wawa gas station would provide service and something at least close to what I wanted. Again, the food at the Holiday Inn maybe very good, I just never found out if that was true. NOTE - It was touch and go, but I did survive the walk to the Wawa and back to the hotel.
