Great lunch for a family of 5 and at a reasonable price. The special pulled pork tacos (serving of 3) was perfect and filling - the chipotle aioli and salad mix really blessed well. I'd have that again before almost anything else. My wife enjoyed the blackened pollo salad - the chicken always cooked and spiced perfectly. The kids enjoyed 24 wings with three different sauces. Timeliness: For food and drinks this is consistently longer than the average bar and grill type restaurant. However, it's worth it for the quality of food and for being the best restaurant in the Pine/Bailey area. It helps if you go in with realistic expectations. Friendliness: could use some improvement. A miscommunication about Monday's sale price of $4 off a large pizza, but the manager offered a credit for our next order. Would definitely return! Just an awful experience. Waited an hour for an order of fries. Pizza ordered to go came absolutely burnt. When I asked to have it remade it was another hour cause they prioritized other to go orders over an in-restaurant customer whose food was inedible. Finally they comped our meal while they prioritized another for me, Which came but was not what we ordered at all. Went fly fishing at Boxwood and all the guides recommended this place. This place is absolutely amazing!!! All the food we had was fantastic. The Texas fries, 3 of us had different burgers, the wings and the Cole slaw were... well freaking awesome! Our server Leah was the cutest! She was attentive, personable and funny! Hmm...we almost left after we were treated so rudely, but I'm so glad we didn't. A little FYI, don't go hungry....the wait is long! There is a very pronounced sign that greets you informing you to wait to be seated. However, when their obviously overwhelmed, like fire-drill fast, wait staff doesn't greet you or look up, you start to feel invisible and you inquire about seating. My husband did this as we waited probably 5 minutes....and asked the manager-ish person (lady who was not in Crossroads tee shirt) about being seated. She told us to go back and stand by the sign. She was unapologetic, annoyed, and a smidge passive-aggressive. Food was really really good. Burger-yum; Reuben-yum, Salad-yum and giant; and we had a really terrific waiter. Our family of 5 stopped in around 6. We ordered sodas and lemonades to start with. Our pink lemonades were extremely watery. Then our server recommend the special of prime rib, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. We ordered 2 specials, small pizza, burger and fries, and a cobb salad. The burger/fries, salad, and pizza came first. The burger was ok, fries were terrible. The cobb salad was literally a bunch of giant lettuce with 4 cucumber, 4 tomatoes, hand full of chicken, a little blu cheese and a small cup of ranch for $17. The pizza was average, it ended up being the only thing anyone cared for. After about 10 minutes then the rest of the tables food came, which was the special of the day. The prime rib tasted blan, like it sat all day in water to keep it fresh. Our potatoes were cold and lumpy and the gravy was like gelatin. Asparagus had no flavor and was over cooked. We spent around $125 without tip. Incredibly expensive and Horrible food. Our server was little to nowhere to be found most of the time. My wife, Annie and I ( Ernie ) decided to try the restaurant on the way home on 10/11/21 at about 7:30 PM since we had not been there in over 9 years. We learned that a new owner has had the restaurant for about 4 years. We ordered our meals, ( a rack of ribs and beef brisket ) and were completely floored! The ribs... first of all were huge !! I thought from the size and weight, it was a porterhouse steak. The taste was marvelous to say the least.. and at my age ( approaching 70 ) and have had every rib dinner in Colorado... this is simply saying.. THE BEST!! ( better than what the major cities have ). I can eat a full rack with no problem.. but this rack... I had to take home. The beef brisket was delicious as well. The green chili had a hint of smoke flavor and was better than good. The very professional and polite employees- owners is very pleasing and considerate. I am writing this review as I feel in my mind.. they and this place are worth the trip and medium price. I do not know any one there and am speaking from my heart and life experience. We will be going there more often ! read more

I'd like to begin by saying I am and have been a local in the Evergreen/Conifer/Pine/Bailey area since 1970! As a resident of Pine since 1998 I frequent all the local bars and restaurants from Conifer to Bailey where there are several places where locals can go for a decent meal, but when I wanna drink a few beers, see some friends, and maybe shoot a few games of pool, I prefer to stay close to home which is why Crossroads WAS our favorite place to hang... but unfortunately that all changed when the previous owner Floyd sold this awesome 4+ star pub/grill to Eric who has ruined what use to be the favorite place for locals and tourists to get together and enjoy live music every Friday night, a few brewskis or cocktails, GREAT food, and the laidback vibe of this small mountain community. I've eaten at Xroads once or twice and have ordered takeout several times since the change of ownership and am sorry to say each meal was worse than the last which is why I decided to sign up and post my first review ever on Yelp. The last meal I ordered was a simple bacon cheeseburger and fries for my BF who said it was the crappiest meal he's ever had and ended up feeding it to our dogs! the burger was dried out yet greasy and tasted like it was 3 days old, the bacon was waaay over cooked and tough as leather, and the fries were also waaaay over cooked and tasted like they were refried in grease that hasn't been changed in a year. I'm so sad and even pissed off that our favorite local spot went from awesome to total shit, and all my friends who use to frequent this favorite local spot agree.... as do former employees who worked for Floyd, who they loved, then quit when Eric took over, or quit shortly after starting when Xroads changed ownership because of horrific conditions and a "tyrannical" boss who treats his employees and customers like crap! read more

On our way back from a glorious hike in Bailey, (obviously starving), we stopped into Crossroads Pub. It is a pretty cute place, I love the old school car theme. We ordered a couple beers, which they serve in plastic cups... Not a fan of that... The menu had a lot to offer, but we decided on a couple of burgers with sweet potato fries. I got a Baja Burger and Dan got a California burger. It took a pretty long time to get the food, the restaurant was packed and they seemed a bit understaffed for a Friday night. We ended ordering another plastic cup beer, woopee! (can you sense the sarcasm?) Finally, our food arrived. The burgers were pretty big with a heaping stack of sweet potato fries. Those fries are so addictive! Fried just perfectly with a dusting of cinnamon and golden brown sugar... Heaven. I had never had sweet potato fries like this in my life and they were incredible. The burgers were just okay. We both asked for medium rare and apparently to Crossroads that means well done. The flavor was pretty good, but for the price no thanks. It is really hard to find a place the knows how to cook a good medium rare burger. I don't think I would come back to Crossroads Pub, unless it was for the sweet potato fries. As convenient as they were, it wasn't worth the expensive food that wasn't cooked how we asked it to be. read more

We stopped in here for dinner tonight and the food was good, our waitress was great, but we left disappointed. The place is cool, has great vibes, a juke box that you can pay into and select some songs. My husband went and put $5.00 in and picked his songs, and they started playing. Well, after each song would start, it would get skipped by David, the bartender. Each song came up and we could hear him talking crap about each song, he would then skip them. Why even keep a juke box for paying customers when it can just get over ridden by the bartender. To me, that's poor taste and bad customer service. We wanted to hang out, relax and have a few more beers, but after that, we decided to leave. Word to the wise, if you eat there don't put your hard earned money into the juke box! read more

I've hesitated to write a review of Crossroads for some time. We've lived here for a year and have had a bunch of mixed experiences with this place. But, it was the last straw yesterday. We've had 3 different sit-down meals there and all were terrible. One was chicken sandwiches that tasted like sawdust due to being completely overcooked and under seasoned. Same experience with overcooked hamburgers another time. And the last time we had fish and chips that were sitting in a soggy pool of grease and a Reuben with meat so grisly and chewy, it was inedible. Normally this would prompt me to write a bad review, but we've gotten a number of take-out pizzas that have been delicious. Their pizza is pretty good. We basically resigned ourselves to only getting takeout pizza from there and cut our losses. Then there is the staff there that are usually pretty indifferent, but I've had two experiences there when they were downright rude. You walk in there to pick up a pizza and this must be putting them out somehow because each time I've gone there, I've waited 5 minutes or more for them to even go over to the kitchen to ask for the pizza. I always tip on my to go orders, which apparently means nothing to them because I rarely even get a thank you for it. One time I was waiting and a guy at the bar was asking for directions for the best route to North Denver. There were three people working there and they said, "we're not from here," and walked away. What? Where are these people from? I gave the guy directions. Anyway, I called yesterday afternoon to order a pizza and the girl sighed and said it would be over an hour wait and asked if I still wanted it. I called to my husband in the other room to ask if he wanted to wait and apparently this was too much for her because she sighed again loudly into the phone and hung up on me. Seriously, what kind of person who works in a customer service job acts this way? If they were that busy, any normal person would have just said they were really busy and asked me to call back when we decided. This place needs work on both the food and the service. Your pizza is decent but it doesn't make up for your business being lousy in every other respect. From now on, I'll go across the street to Cruz'in and get a take and bake pizza instead. read more

We stopped here today on the way home from dropping our kiddo off at camp. Actually, I really just had to use the ladies room (#1!!) but because I didn't want to be "that" lady, I thought I would get something to go as well. I ordered the Cobb Salad to go. 30 minutes later, after being told that it would be out in a few minutes several times, I asked for my money back. A very nice woman (I believe she was the owner but she didn't say for sure) kindly refunded my money and told me that they were so busy that food tickets were taking 60 minutes to get to the table. I looked around ... busy to me is three deep at the bar - tables inside and out full and people waiting. That wasn't the case. She said they had 14 tickets hanging. Apparently they must have understaffed the kitchen today - day after Fourth of July ... perfect biker stop on the highway ... I mean it was busy last year too ya?? Your staff should be able to cook up several meals at once. Anyway ... she was processing the refund when the salad finally arrived. I asked her not to worry about the refund but she insisted and wanted me to take the salad and of course asked me to come back some other time. I said we would. Until we got the food out to the car. Cardboard to go box was gross and dirty on the outside. To go silverware had to be asked for, was handed unwrapped fork and knife - no napkin. Salad was limp. Tomatoes sliced yesterday. The dressing redeemed part of this mess but not enough to say we will go back. The bathroom was clean - usually means the kitchen is too. FOH was stumbling over themselves. Guess the girls came to work, should have thrown some of them in back to help the kitchen. Sorry owner/manager. It wasn't good today - this is your season girl!! Went to Crossroads for the first time last night. I had heard a lot about their pizza, so we went in prepared to enjoy a really good pie. We were with a group, and our table looked into the kitchen where we watched a virtuoso display of pizza dough tossing. This looked like the real thing! When our pizza came out the crust was perfect - thin and crispy but not tough. I was disappointed that the toppings were under the cheese, as this makes for a more greasy pizza. Where this place really fell down was on the service. On a Wednesday night we waited ten minutes to order a drinks. When the beers made it, the draft beers had a funk to them. I would get bottled beer next time. After about an hour we finally got our pizza. We asked for Parmesan, and the waitress told us it was at the other end of the table, and walked away! Since we were a large group, the other end of the table was a ways away, and it did not seem to be too much to ask to have two sets of shakers on the table. So the pizza was just average, but the other people in our group had burger, and said that they were excellent. They also liked the fish and chips, but complained that the fries were soggy. read more

We ate here (despite a few negative reviews here on Yelp) and found it to be quite decent! I wouldn't hesitate to stop by again. I got a southwestern style hamburger (don't recall the name) and my wife got a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were enjoyable and tasty. My wife got the sweet potato fries (seem to be en vogue lately) and they were good and prepared differently than other restaurants, more country style. My plain fries were good too. Can't comment on food beyond this, but we were happy! Ambiance inside was good, they put a decent amount of effort into the "Crossroads" theme, with a motorcycle inside and memorabilia nailed to the walls. Overall clean interior, clean bathrooms, looks well kept. Service was great for us, our waiter paid attention to our drinks, took our food order quickly, food came out quickly enough (allowing a little time for the burger, of course). It didn't look pretty from the outside, but inside was dark woods, great smells and country music. Friendly atmosphere, but the food stands out. We had a pot roast sandwich: tender roast beef, grilled onions, melted cheese, homemade horse radish on a brioche bun. Used to be one of the best local spots up the hill. the last five times I've ordered theyve either gotten the order wrong, burnt the food, or gotten the order right but sent the wrong items in The package. Something has happened to the Crossroads we knew. Music was way to loud, service was slow, (the server who took our table paid way more attention to the guys at the bar than our table.) And the food has gone WAY down hill. Veggie burger and fries. Fries were way overcooked on every plate at the table and the Florida Veggie was made with "Beyond Burger!" A fake 'meat' patty that was DISGUSTING!! There are plenty of good tasting bean or grain burger patties on the market. If i'm going to a Burger Joint and I don't eat meat, I don't need a fake meat substitute, a black bean patty makes a tasty dinner. Chicken sandwich made the person who ordered it sick. Went here for dinner and what a mistake that was! The place was dirty, and full of rowdy, loud drunks. I ordered 4 lemon pepper wings and 4 Cajun wings. The first batch were completely burnt and inedible. When I tried to send them back, the staff questioned me and tried to make me eat them before they brought me fresh. My garden salad was warm and I could not finish it. The restroom was atrocious. It was cleaner to not wash my hands after using it. I had stomach issues the next day as well. I will never step foot in this place again, and would not even recommend to my worst enemy! read more
