I'm not sure of your point. I have stopped in to your place several times since the brawl. Two nights ago was my last review. Good luck with your Sous Chef. Good luck with your EastCoast-style pies. That's where I owned my businesses. You're at 8500' elevation, and we're all aware of how some sea level recipes need to adjusted for elevation. Simmering and braising times need to be lengthened, but oven roasting doesn't. Yes, I'm sure your Sous Chef has already made that apparent. More flour needs more moisture and a longer rise time. Your dough could use a bit more hydration, an extended rise to develop flavor. Again, I'm assuming you're doing all this by weights and percentages and not depending on a scoop of this and a scoop of that to make the magic happen. read more

Ended up here today from a detour when the interstate was shut down. It was well worth the detour and extra time spent on the road! Hubby and I were very impressed with the food and service‼ let me tell you EVERYTHING was fresh, and I do mean fresh, and scrumptious. Hubby ordered a burger. It was thick, perfectly made, on a fresh bun with LTO. Ummm. The french fries were homemade as well! He couldn't say enough about his meal. My sunflower patty burger was freshly made and delicious. Blonde older lady was our waitress. Drink time was slow as it seemed there wasnt enough help, but our waitress kept us informed as to why things were taking a little longer than usual. She was the only waitress working, and did a fantastic job! Because of her service, we will return. read more

I am a frequent lunch time customer and have always disliked the incredibly long wait but appreciated the good food and relaxed atmosphere. There is no excuse for today's experience. Let's start with the food, sub par doesn't even come close. My friend ordered the shepherd's pie, hoping that at the FIFTEEN dollar price point it would be amazing comfort food. What she got was something straight out of a can, terrible quality, as salty as ocean water, you get the drift. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. The waiter had no idea what even came on the sandwich or anything about the menu for that matter. Stale sourdough bread, a few pieces of lettuce and onions and two sad chicken tenders. No sauce of any kind. I asked for some barbeque sauce since the sandwich was inedible alone. The sauce got us an upcharge of 25¢ without being told. Even with the barbeque the sandwich was dry as a bone and flavorless, it tasted like lightly breaded frozen tenders from king soopers. The BBQ was definitely sweet baby rays. The shepherd's pie was charged at a higher price then the menu price which I will give credit to the waiter for fixing once we pointed it out. The staff appears clueless and nervous, rightly so as another table was also complaining about their food near us at the same time. The gentleman who served us was nice but openly admitted not knowing the menu or anything about the food on it. I don't care if it's the first day with a new menu, your wait staff should know it before it goes out, no exceptions. We wanted to try the wings to see if they were up to snuff and were informed that they "can't serve wings as an appetizer". What?? The wait time was just as long, our lunch took over an hour and a half. Long story short, save your money and find a higher quality establishment. :( read more

We stopped here to eat on the way home from camping. Place was packed but got a seat right away. We had the pizza which was "the bomb." And someone also had a chicken sandwich which was thick and juicy. Nothing to complain about whatsoever. We will be coming back to try the cheeseburgers and wings. read more

While staying in town for a family vacation we decided to check out this restaurant. Our family of 5 from Chicago was quickly introduced to the local flavor. Food and local folks alike. The chicken nachos and pizza were delicious. We sat outside on the deck which was a beautiful view and allowed the kids to be loud and playful. My children learned very colorful vocabulary from some of the regulars.... yikes!!! Thank goodness we were able to sit outside because it is not a smoke free environment and we prefer fresh air. Their sign outside says they have amazing burgers but our waitress shared that there were many other better choices... glad she shared that with us. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. The food is very good but some of the services leaves a lot to be desired! I've never had a bad experience with my server but I did get yelled at by a female chef!! Don't ask for anything special because they will tell you they will run out if they do that for you!! It has been awhile since we were at the Crossroads, and this has improved from probably 1 star to todays 4 stars, and glad to recommend. From the last time we were there, they did have seafood, but not anymore, and the decor is fun, the staff is great, and attentive. Had the make your own burger, and this was one of the best I have had in about a year, perfectly cooked, and the fries were abundant, thin, and just the right amount of salt. The bar was hoping, and we were there on a Friday, and they had a live band, making this a great place. Next time we will try the make your own pizza. read more

Nice local spot. Really enjoy the Pizza and they have a special on Monday's. The burgers are average and they have a good beer selection.

Pizza was black on the bottom and winged were like jerky. We had to AGAIN check and get the sauces we ordered. I am not sure what happened to the "pretzels". Please remove queso from the menu if you no longer offer it. The sauce for the pretzel turds is disgusting. Disappointed in our dinner choice. read more

We found this place by chance on a drive and it was amazing. Cool atmosphere, clean, good service. We tried the turkey sandwich (as a wrap) with sweet potato fries and the chix wrap w the pork green chili. Reasonable prices, would definitely recommend if you are in the neighborhood! read more

Came in for lunch and the food is great. Service is horrible bartender is very rude and should get another job if she can't take 1 second for the customers. Must not have been in the service industry a long time. Luckily for them they are one of a few places in the area to eat at. I stopped in with my wife i got the Cuban that our server Beth recommended with extra moho sauce. She was great server over all. Holy crap this place has everything! So much to offer on the menu it's hard to choose so you'll definitely be coming back again for something different. I got the Camaro Cod which was beer-battered and their fresh cut cinnamon sweet potato fries are amazing! Next time I'll have to try a burger... or maybe pizza... or maybe a sandwich... I don't know but it's all good! If you aren't sure what to eat you'll have plenty of options here and no matter what you won't be disappointed! This is an all-in-one stop perfect when you are on the road with a beautiful drive through the Rocky Mountains! FYI- The service is slow when they are busy. To be fair the waiter gave us fair warning that it was at least a half hour wait on the food up front. If you are rushed probably go elsewhere but if you are patient and can wait the food is rewarding. read more

i went to the crossroads on my bike ( everybody does ) on saturday. Had the VW burger. The burger was cooked medium rare and had avocado and bacon on it. Was served with a side salad that consisted of lettuce cheese and ranch. Very nice. This joint is the typical license plates on the wall tv in the corner saloon. have to say its BANK. read more
