Good food and friendly service...I'd normally have given this place 5 stars, but during our first, and perhaps next to last, visit we sat at the bar where it appeared that almost everyone knew each other, and there was a certain obnoxious, cursing loud-mouth guy that also appeared to be well known to the crowd, but also well tolerated for some unknown reason. Maybe he's the owner or a relative or someone who's somehow significant to the immediate area, but we'll give it one more try and if it isn't better, we won't be back. read more

I used to love this place. It's gone way downhill. The menu has been completely cut back and now it's just standard bar food. No platters and no desserts. I had hardly any chicken on my salad and it was small overcooked pieces. They told me they have limited menu now because of Covid. Hmmm..I've been going out to eat a lot the last few months and never seen that anywhere else, plus every time I pass Crossroads, they have plenty of cars in the lot so don't tell me they aren't getting business. "Meet me at the Crossroads... Crossroads..." Since the day we moved to Perkasie this has been our "go to". It's like Cheers where everyone knows your name. No. Seriously. Everyone knows our names. My husband and I are acknowledged by name most times we are in to eat or pick up take out. The chicken wraps are their star dish in my opinion, with the cooked chips ranking high on my list as a tasty side dish. The staff is super friendly and most are long time employees. Endless beers on tap with $2 specials often. Every night of the week offers dinner specials at extremely low prices. Kudos to the chef who never disappoints. Sounds too good to be true... but again... that's why it's our "go to". Bands and trivia nights add to the entertainment and enjoyable experience at this local tavern. Touch tunes is available so you can play whatever you want on their juke box from your cell phone all from the comfort of your table. Restaurant seating for the family is also available. I'm still feeling indifferent about my visit at the Crossroads Tavern. I started off my visit with a flora mojito (essentially a lavender mojito) which after receiving it wasn't my best decision. It was very strong and didn't taste at all how I expected. I ordered the southwest burger which came with fried banana peppers which were awesome, avacodo, pico de Gallo, and cheese, served with their house made potato chips and pickles.The chips were delicious, but wished I received more for my platter. I then gave up on trying to enjoy the mojito and ordered a grapefruit draft beer- best decision! Our waitress was honest and helpful with choosing menu items. Overall, after discussing with the friends I went here with we decided upon a 3/5 review. read more

Wotta biotch! Yesterday around 2 pm I stopped in for a beer. It may be significant that I was wearing Trump regalia. Anyway, I was met with such hostility from the bartender, that I was immediately in fight or flight mode. She took my money and literally threw the change at me. Meanwhile she continued her saccharine sweet interaction with other customers. I finished my beer as fast as I coould and left and even stiffed her. I have NEVER done that before. The worst bar experience of my life, and I've been in some pretty dive bars; for which this chick is more qualified. I can see her at K&A, not Hilltown. read more

May be a little out of the way but worth the trip! Quaint bar scene, friendly staff and always good food! Favorites are the pulled pork with broccoli rabe and the homemade Italian spring rolls!! Food is terrific hear. It's more than bar food. Specials are amazing. They have decent vegetarian dishes, Portabella Sub and Beyond Burger are great. Can be a bit noisy when they have bands but there's a back room to get away from it. Overall a recommendation. read more

My wife and I are new to the area and we drove past Crossroads Tavern a number of times and decided to give it a try for drinks and dinner. We were very disappointed. The wings were oddly breaded and served warm. Tasted ok- but the breading was a turn off. My wife ordered a cheeseburger and fries and the burger was mushy and seemed to be half meat and half breadcrumbs. Her fries were cold. I ordered a southwestern salad- the avocado was past ripe, the tomatoes were old and tasted like the refrigerator and the dressing was lousy. Seems like a great place for a beer and live music, but would not recommend the food. read more

Crossroads is a nice, clean neighborhood tavern with great food, people and a great selection of both imported and domestic beers on tap. Also food and beer for take out. Great atmosphere and love watching sports at the bar. Highly recommend! read more

The chef knows his business when it comes to preparing tasty food. We found this little gem about five weeks ago and have been about 8 to 10 times in that period sampling his menu which he seems to keep tweaking with new dishes, all excellent including the deserts. I have found the waiting staff to be attentive, cheerful, and work hard to see the customer gets good value for their money. There is a dinning room in the back and a center island bar with TV 's surrounding the walls of this old farm house. The bar has had its second floor removed to give the high ceiling and has a feature of the second floor fire place sitting way up 9 feet in the air on the feild stone outer wall. I haven't seen the giant person tending the fire but live in the hopes I do! read more

They don't even pretend to take Covid measures seriously. Went to pull in and it looked like a Trump rally outside, no social distancing, no masks as people walked around. Looked up their Facebook page to find a night that didn't have an event, appalled by what they post. If they can't take Covid measures seriously I have to wonder what else they don't take seriously. Nice spot filled with locals. We had very good bar food. The chips which came with sandwiches were outstanding. Handcut and cooked very well. Food was fresh and tasty. Very good, friendly service. We had to wait over 20 minutes for anyone to take our orders for drinks and food! Then we also had to wait 40 minutes for just pasta and clams that we ordered! And we barely saw any bartender or waiter that was helping us! Such poor service and it wasn't the first time it happened and never gonna go here again! read more

Sooooo disappointed last night. This was our second time here. First time was great. Food was good, service was good and we even talked with the manager and told him how much we enjoyed it. So last night we arrived at about 6:15. It was moderately full but not terrible. Our waitress was very sweet. But then everything hit the fan. My husband asked to sample two beers and I got a pumpkin martini. It took forever to get the two samples and the martini. Can you believe it? And then even longer for him to get one beer on draft!!! Then we ordered our appetizers and meals. 40 minutes later our appetizers still were no where to be seen. Onion rings and fried pickles!!!! How does that take 40 minutes? We questioned our waitress and she said the kitchen was really backed up. Come on people, it was a Saturday night. In the restaurant business you know how to accommodate for busy nights. Finally that came and then another 20 minutes for our meals to come. My husband got the Herbivore Flatbread and that was delicious. I got the Grouper Sandwich. Very very dry. The mango salsa on top was dried up and paltry, obviously not fresh. I asked for tartar sauce and the waitress left, came back and told us they had none. First time I've ever heard of a restaurant not having tartar sauce. Needless to say by then I had lost my appetite and couldn't finish it. Based on this we will likely not be back. Odd thing was, there was no offer of compensation or to make things right. Not good business. read more
