At first I thought a vegetarian could make a meal of the sides, but then I realized the German potato salad had bacon in it. I also had the cucumber salad. We also had the mac' n' cheese, and coleslaw. Aside from the delicious meats is the amazing corn bread. Eating pretty much any New England cornbread is like trying to swallow a fist full of sand. The collard greens were another standout. I actually asked if they were good before ordering because great collards are hard to find. The best I'd had before were in Fort Myers back in March, and nothing since had come close--until now. These were another easy 10/10 and, once again, the best I've had. The sausage was very good, but it's almost unfair to compare anything to that incredible brisket. The cowboy beans were also delicious. The hush puppies just weren't my personal favorite, but when everything else is this exceptional, that's a minor detail.
