My family and I didn't end up eating here, but I'm rating it based on my experience of visiting the area. This is such an iconic place, and it's located in such a cute little quaint town. The people are super friendly, and the ambience was really relaxing and laid back. Coming from LA, it's really a change of pace to see everyone just moving slower, and just kind of sitting around enjoying their drinks and live music. The BBQ here has gotten worse over the last couple of years. The brisket was grisly, fatty and chewy. My daughter should have sent it back. The pulled pork was dry and needed a side cup of sauce to make it edible. The Cole slaw is always good. Servers are good. Great place turned bad by rude staff! This has always been a favorite when we are in northern Arizona. We were driving back from Vegas and intentionally didn't eat before heading home just so we could eat here. We arrived and asked to sit on the patio, as we were traveling with a dog. The hostess told the server we would be going outside and the server said, "It has to be close to the doors though." Apparently she didn't want to walk far. When we went outside, we asked to sit literally one table over so we could be in the sun (it is December). It's important to note that it was in the 50s...not extreme cold and there were others on the patio. The server then rolled her eyes and huffed when she saw where the hostess sat us. Overpriced cool burgers a normal tourist spot don't think they care much about reviews as new people every day

Regretfully I would've-could've-should've taken a snapshot pic of what their bbq western $20 murder burger with crunchy fries looked like. That joint was HUGE and so wide my mouth couldn't almost open far enough for the initial bite plus my jawbone was getting a workout. Seriously any wider opened of my mouth than that would've probably cover the circumference large as the size of someone's head just to eat hypothetically. Chop it in pieces and you'll get thru. You gotta really come hungry or finish to go for leftover. Their fries could improve by not making them so shoestring thin since they easily over cook, they come as crunchy as they look. Over all they place, service and ambience is ok if only their menu items could be fairly priced and not overvalued. read more

Two of us got dry burgers that really weren't good. My daughter and I split the BBQ sampler & the brisket was terribly tough. The sausage tasted like the ones you get processed in the grocery store frozen aisle. The ambience was cool but nothing else. Skip it. There's another diner down the road. I spent $120 for 5 people. Im a traveler and YouTuber. I've been all over US, all the 50 states. All of the large cities and thousands of small towns. At this time I did Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles and I stopped by at this cool looking place. I ordered my food for myself and my son and a a beer for myself. They charged me a LOT. I didn't ask, I tipped well, way over 20%. They didn't give me a check just took the money. They I've heated other people complaining that they over charged them. So I asked for my check and it's turned out that they were charged me 18% tip and the waitress didn't say anything just took the extra money. This place isn't cheap from start plus 42% tip makes it more expensive than it's worth to stop by here. It's NOT cool guys. I don't care about that money I just feel f***d. It's not cool especially because I bring a lots of customers here and the food is that great guys! Serving absolutely wasn't that good. And other people from next table they feel the same way. We saw this restaurant driving by and while we were walking in town we decided to stop by and eat. We waited about 5 minutes before we were finally seated. There was no one on line, only us. There was 5 waitress but they were all "busy" standing around so we had what I believe was their lead seat up and apologize for them. We sat outside since the weather was nice but some of the chairs are so bent back that it was uncomfortable. They have a lot to choose from on their menu as well but the price point for the amount of food you get is high compared to other restaurants in the area, so keep that in mind. They also have vegan options which I loved! The food was good but it was on the colder side. Drinks were big. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. If we're ever in the area, we will give it another shot and hope for a better experience! read more

I stopped by today as I happened to be passing through with friends. I was not expecting that I would have some of the best wings ever! Wings were a great size and I got the spicy flavor which was perfect level of spice. Not too hot to eat, but lingered just enough. Dora was our server who was punctual and friendly. Everything about this place was wonderful. I'm not sure what the other people who reviewed this place experienced, but I can assure you that they are wrong in my eyes. My husband and I both got burgers, and I got mine with sweet potato fries(if you're thinking about it, GET those!). We also got jalapeño poppers. Everything was delicious. The prices are a little high(18-22 depending on the burger), but the portions justify the cost. We could have split a burger with an extra order of fries. Everything came out within 10 minutes of ordering, and our waiter was attentive(but not overly so). We sat outside in their spacious patio section, which was pleasant. The restrooms were cute too. Okay guys! Do not even question going here. JUST GO! I went two nights in a row for supper. Both times were delicious. Our waitress (both times) was fantastic! So friendly and hilarious. She recommended some great choices for food and didn't disappoint at all. You have to order the jalapeño poppers; they're to die for! If you're an alcohol drinker, the Cadillac margarita, hands down. The western burger with a side of onion rings will have you doing a little dancy dance with every bite. Also, I highly recommend the BBQ Sampler plate - I swear I saw the good lord with every bite I took. Let's now talk about the homemade BBQ sauce; sweet baby bananas! Finger licking good. The corn bread, oh man, delicious. The food was not average with my burger being to dry, the bread wasn't fresh and I paid extra for onions rings and it wasn't freshly made, frozen tossed in the oil frier. Well, well, well, let's just say I'm totally disappointed. I was expecting to have a nice experience, but it was shot to hell in a hand basket. I had the classic burger that taste like an amusement park burger and not worth the price. Can we at least get some salt and pepper on it. The mozzarella stick and onion ring were descent according to the family. My dad says, the Brisket and bean were off the hook and he doesn't mean fishing. And I don't know if that was a kitchen issue or our server because people around us that ordered around the same time as us all received their food and we were still waiting. The food.. Smelled delicious. That's what made us turn around and decided to eat here. We ordered the sampler bbq plate and the beef ribs and the smoked flavor was almost overwhelming. The BBQ sauce was very flavorful, but I just couldn't get past the smoked flavor, almost plastic tasting. I don't know how to describe it. And on top of that it almost seemed like they smoked the ribs and then threw them on a bbq and forgot about them as they were almost too dry and hand lots of char/burnt spots. Now, I love the char on ribs, so I'm not usually one to complain, but when it's so crispy that it kinda just crunches off burnt, not exactly what I'd expect. Decide to eat here since we have not tried it in the past. While walking Route 66 we smelled the aroma of smoked food and it did smell good. Their smokers are outside and wood was cooking. We got a table outside and ordered the brisket plate and smoked sausages. Each came with baked beans coleslaw potato salad and corn bread. The brisket was shredded and the portion was large! The smoked sausages were slightly spicy and 3 large ones. The sides were ok nothing special but definitely eatable. The cornbread was moist and above average. The meat and sausage were the star of the meats. My wife has the brisket and she loved it! The sausages were moist and tasted good! We also got a Cadillac margarita and brown ale. We stayed in Williams for the week, and upon driving in noticed cruisers. Thought it looked like a nice place to have a seat outside and enjoy some food. The atmosphere was nice, they had live music, even saw a Wild West show while sitting there. My boys ordered some burgers, they said they were ok. I ordered the brisket plate, it was primarily fat. It honestly looked like uncooked bacon. It wasn't for me. The coleslaw and potato salad were ok, as was the cornbread. I was expecting the beans to be just your typical baked beans, it tasted like chili, which im not a fan of. The place is an amazing view from the entrance until you sit down, there are so many vintage items all around that you are impressed at ever piece of art to the furniture. The Waitress, Nadia, I believe her name was (sorry if I got that wrong), was such an attentive and friendly person, she'd be my friend if I knew her as a person. This is one friendly advice to owner of this place. That girl who was waitress on 12/18/2023 should not only be fired by you but also not to be allowed to do same job anywhere else. For the first time in my life, after 50 years of visiting various restaurants (even with bad service) i didnt leave the tip. My wife and kids (11 years old) were shocked by her attitude and responses. I dont want to go into all details and waste my time because i see other reviews talking about bad service and you didnt do nothing. Almost like stepping back in time as soon as you hit the strip. A must stop if you are downtown. We stopped in after a round of golf and were treated to some really good BBQ. Waited almost 10 min to be seated, then we finally caught one of the several girls who had literally walked between us multiple times, if we could please get a table. Buns were so stale tasting we picked them off. Grilled chicken sandwich was tasteless, burger was below average and most likely a frozen patty, the only thing worth eating was the sweet potatoes waffle fries.
