My family and I stopped by Cruiser's Café 66 after spending the day exploring Arizona and traveling along Route 66, and it was exactly what we needed. Located right in the heart of Williams, the area is super cute and full of charm. We were looking for a place to sit down, relax, and enjoy a hot meal after a long day of traveling. The service was great--our waitress was friendly and attentive, and although the food took a little while to come out, it was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and the green chile burrito, and everything was delicious. To finish off our meal, we ordered ice cream, and wow--the portions are HUGE! One ice cream could easily be shared between 2-3 people, so I'd definitely recommend sharing unless you're really hungry. The atmosphere was one of our favorite parts. The restaurant has fun 1950s diner vibes with lots of great photo opportunities throughout. There's also a small arcade area and a gift shop attached to the restaurant with tons of cool Route 66 souvenirs and merchandise. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and honestly couldn't find anything to complain about. It provided the much-needed food, rest, and break we were looking for during our travels. We'd definitely stop here again the next time we're in Williams! Highly recommend for anyone passing through Route 66.

    The diner.

Let's just start with the look of Cruisers... it's the perfect time machine , bringing you back in time to drive-in diners. The booths, decor amd even the bathrooms have the theme. Service was great! Our waitress had good timing and was also very knowledgeable about specific dietary needs that one of us presented and made suggestions . The food was delicious all around. The BEST part came with the sweet potato fries.... A cinnamon marshmellow fluff dip!!!!!OMG!! It was like eatting a churro but WAY BETTER. What an amazing dinner and treat! Go there! Order the sweet potatoes-- you won't regret it.

Nice evening weather for dinner outside.

I'm glad we stopped here for dinner! We got cheeseburgers, kids hotdog & chicken tenders. It were delicious, with quick service! We sat outside on an evening with live music, which was a lot of fun. Would recommend this spot if you're staying in Williams before or after a train ride to the Grand Canyon!

Cruisers cafe has a nice outdoor seating area that will draw you in especially in the evening when it's all lit up. Great 50's style diner vibe on the inside with lots of gas and oil signage on the walls. Food was good and very reasonably priced, we ordered a bbq sampler, a bowl of chili and a cobb salad. Cobb salad was a ton of food and very good and quite a bargain at 13$. BBQ sampler was tasty- pulled pork, brisket, ribs and sausage with small sides of cole slaw , potato salad and chili. Chili was very good and the service was excellent , i would definitely eat here again !!

We stopped into Cruiser's Cafe on a Tuesday afternoon with a party of seven and were seated immediately. Service was great right from the start, which is always a relief when you roll in with a small army of kids. The kids all loved their BBQ pork sandwiches, and the adults ordered the green chile burgers and the BBQ sampler. The burger was mid at best, but the onion rings were fire. Seriously, those things were the star of the burger plate. (Up charge) French fries were mediocre. The BBQ sampler, though, was fantastic. The brisket was especially good and definitely the highlight. The beans, coleslaw, and potato salad were all really tasty. The coleslaw even had apples in it, which we had never had before. It was a pleasant surprise and a nice change from the usual. My only real complaint was the soda fountain. It's about $5 for "endless fountain drinks," but honestly you'll probably only want one because it just didn't taste very good. Overall, it's a cute, clean little Route 66 spot and a fun stop for the experience while passing through Williams.

The decor is cute, but that is the only thing this place has going for it. We stopped it because it had been recommended by someone who'd been to William's years ago. We were a little shocked by the price given the type of food, $40 for a BBQ sampler plate is asking too much. We settled on the pulled pork sandwich and when it arrived, it was missing the toppings listed on the menu. We asked our server who said "oh I've heard of this happening, I think they are changing the menu" but got us the toppings on the side anyways. The sandwhich ultimately tasted like a sloppy Joe sandwich. Between the price, missing items, and poor quality, it's a cute place to look at but we would not go back to eat again.

So while we are in town, we went to find someplace to eat and the first place we went, the wait was very long and we were very hungry and tired so we just stopped by this place even though the reviews are low. I didn't expect much but I will tell you my honest review. The great part was that we got seated right away inside. The decor is super fun and super route 66 vibes and that was cool. Service was good not awesome. The menu was very standard diner food nothing too exciting. But it's diner food so that's what you expect. Our food came very quickly and that was also great. I ordered the loaded potato with pulled pork. It was OK. My husband ordered the chicken grilled sandwich with french fries and OK. And my son got the chicken tenders and fries. The fries are really really good. But overall, I would say this is just diner food. It'll fill you up, but you're not gonna really walk away happy with the quality of food and the taste. But it is what it is is what I said.

Loved the sample platter! All the meats were seasoned and cooked/smoked well. We also shared a chicken walnut cranberry salad with raspberry vinaigrette...so good. Miguel was all smiles and quick, we love that. We sat outside in the sun . The decor inside was fun, even the bathroom.

Brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries and a Cadillac Margarita

Great cafe/bbq food at a good price, big, tasty and strong Cadillac Margarita. Attractive rustic Route 66 style decor. Would definitely recommend!

The setup is counter-service, and one thing that caught me off guard was being asked to choose whether we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs before we'd even seen either area. I picked upstairs, but after getting up there, I probably would have preferred downstairs. The upstairs bar was closed, which made the space feel a little empty. Food-wise, everything was just... mid. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger with fries. The burger itself was fine, but there wasn't much flavor. The pulled pork on top was absolutely drenched in BBQ sauce that tasted like it came straight from a grocery store bottle, and it completely overpowered everything else. The fries arrived room temperature and bland. I ended up covering them in salt and dipping them in ketchup, which I rarely do. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. The mac and cheese didn't taste fresh, wasn't very hot, and was lacking flavor. The chicken was decent, and the bread on the side was okay, but nothing stood out. The one thing I really did enjoy was the theming. The restaurant fits the Bearizona atmosphere well, and I appreciated the rustic lodge feel. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The ingredients felt low quality, and there wasn't any exceptional service to make up for it. If we visit Bearizona again, we'll probably eat in town before heading to the park. I'm glad we tried it once, but once was enough.

You rarely notice if good, but this one was. A perfect salad lunch for her. My daughter had spaghetti and meatballs. She loved it. We're usually picky about Italian food and rarely order it from a non Italian place, but we've been on the road and she was starving. From the first bite she was hooked. Bursting with flavor, certainly part pork and full of herbs. Clearly made in house. My son and I split a margarita pizza and it hit hard. Paper thin. For dinner we'd need one each, but for lunch splitting it was perfect. Great flavor top to bottom. The paper thin crust, the tangy sauce, and good quality cheese topped with a generous amount of fresh basil. Bonus for the red hot sauce (green tasted artificial) which I grabbed a spoon to taste with as soon as we sat down, I love hot sauce. And for the classic rock playlist. Highly recommend for a quick meal.

You seat yourself, and there are tables inside and outside with views of the main street. The line was long when we arrived. They even ran out of menus at one point. But the line moved at a good pace. I ordered the Prosciutto Pie and a prickly pear margarita. The Prosciutto Pie was just OK. For $24, I felt like there needed to be more prosciutto. Some of my slices didn't even have a solid bite of this main ingredient. If the prosciutto was double the amount I received, I would say get it; but based on my experience, I saw other pizza types that were more loaded and probably worth the price. The kids menu is larger than most places, with five different items to choose from (both Italian and standard kids food for picky eaters). The restaurant is attached to a brewery, where you can order beer and beer flights -- differently a bonus.

I asked for coffee and she handed me a menu and she asked if I knew what I wanted to eat. I said I needed some time to look at the menu and she frowned and walked away without saying a word. It was obvious she thought I was going to be there a while and didn't want me sitting at the table long. She returned with the coffee and said "You know if it gets busy...." leaving the sentence hanging. I replied I would leave if it did (the restaurant only had maybe 3 tables full at that point, by the time I left at 640 there were two tables empty). After eating the food, which was quite good, I promptly packed up and left as soon as I could 25 minutes after being seated. I walked down to Brewed Awakenings, got a coffee there and sat down at my computer to do some work. In a small restaurant I totally understand that you need to keep tables moving so there is not a wait, but there is a polite and subtle way to message to a patron that they need to move along so other folks can sit down. You can deliver the check early, ask if you are finished, ask if there is anything else you need. Ways to communicate to a patron that they need the table. This was certainly not it. I eat out often, I tip very well, but I have to say this is the first time I felt unwelcome and rushed at a place in a very, very long time. While the food was good, this was not the way to start off day 2 of my roadtrip. In today's economy, making your customers feel like they need to eat and run, and doing so in a rude way, is a master class in how to make your restaurant fail. I do not recommend this place.
