Ok The cookies are very good, I wouldn't say the best I've ever had but very good. Some are better than others. The problem with this particular location is they can't get it together!! Every time we've ordered they aren't ready, they are out of the cookie etc. this is AFTER we ordered and paid online. It's always something. Today we first ordered a party pack for tomorrow, when we got there at the time specified two of the cookies were sold out. They told us come back in an hour, kind of a pain but it's life. We came back in an hour and now they are out of two more cookies. Standing there with zero employee acknowledgement I just wait and wait. Finally the employee says to come back in 30 minutes. We did and now their register is broken? I can't with this place! They need to close, get it together and reopen when they have it together!! I guess next time we will drive out to Brentwood where they have it together! read more

I was a bit disappointed with my experience here. When I ordered my cookies in person I got four different flavors of the week. Milk chocolate, coconut lime, corn bread and birthday cake. I was told I had to wait about ten min tires for the cornbread to finish. I had no problem as I went to pick up my lunch order and came back. However upon my return about 15 minutes later my order was not packaged at all. Then when it was ready they gave me the Oreo mallow sandwich instead of the birthday cake. When I mentioned I did not order that one they said oh when you ordered you left a notes saying if that one ran out you would take the Oreo. I told the employee how I would not have ordered one that was not ready and would have to wait more than a half hour for and would for sure not have wanted the Oreo one. When I mentioned this to the employee she just sat my box down and walked away and didn't say anything like can we get you a different flavor or this would be your wait or anything. So finally another person came and helped me complete a box. I know they are new and need to work out the kinks. However they should not have sold me a cookie and then when I came to pick up my order have sold that one to another person for me to have to wait even longer. I'm sad I did not get to try the birthday cake cookie but the other ones were still good. I'm a chocolate shop fan and that one was great. They definitely need to work on keeping track of inventory and who had ordered already in order. Overall the cookies are good but the service is very disappointing. read more

Good service. They always get my orders ready really fast and the staff is very nice.

The cookies are amazing. That being said this business is not ready to take on the volume they're seeing at the Veranda. Every time we come it's a half an hour or more longer than the anticipated wait time and they always have bad news about one of the flavors not being available when you get there. We order online every time to try to save time and get the flavors we want but they always fail us in the timing and having all the flavors. The flavors they do have are spectacular always but it's so consistently frustrating picking them up and knowing one flavor will be eliminated and not know which one until you show up. I'm not sure if this is our kind of cookie, but I'd rate is as ok and not something I'd go out of our way for. The cookie was thick and doughy. It was also on the sweeter side. It would be nice if there were some cookies without the flavoring on top. It's a bit much and sometimes overwhelming with how much sugar can be compacted in one cookie. I was looking forward to trying this place, staff seemed nice place is really cool looking and the screens and app is quite accommodating but at the end of the day it's a cookie spot, and the six cookies I got were the worst cookies I've ever had. We got two snickerdoodles, an Oreo, chocolate chip, the Nutella one and the pink frosted one. The pink frosted one tasted like cleaning chemicals, the chocolate chip (maybe the easiest and most important cookie to get right) was awful. It looked beautiful but was the worst. Mostly chocolate chips and just a dreadful after taste. Oreo tasted like a red velvet cookie from 711 with way too sweet frosting. The snicker doodle was the only redeeming cookie and it still was no where near as good as a Safeway cookie. $25 for 6 cookies and I'll never go back. read more

I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars...Both flavors and service are a bit hit or miss. My personal favorite is the chilled sugar cookie, and it seems to be offered most weeks. Some of the others seems to only have the feature flavor in the whipped topping and not in the cookie. The service was prompt and friendly. But, they couldn't sell me fewer than 6 or 12 cookies. I wanted 3. The cashier reasoned that they were out of smaller boxes, and therefore couldn't sell orders of those sizes (1 cookie or 4 cookies). They apparently couldn't put fewer cookies in a large box; I asked. At the price, these cookies add up fast when you buy 6 or 12, but they do keep well. If you want to try this place for the novelty, and are not in a hurry, I'd say it's worth a try! read more

Easily the WORST curbside pickup experience I have ever had. My bf and I ordered (at 5pm) a curbside pickup order to be ready at 8pm. Upon arriving we were placed 18 in line. I don't know why a place would have a curbside pickup option with a specific pickup time for the order not to be ready when I get there (it's that the whole point of offering an option to order ahead). It would have been faster to just wait in the standby line, which we would have done if they didn't already have my money for my curbside order. We watched countless people that arrived after us stand in line, get their cookies and leave. We waited over an hour in the car for our cookies finally to be brought out. I definitely do not recommend the curbside pickup option to anyone. read more

Ordered for curbside and when I arrived there were 0 spots available. No big deal, went inside and went to the counter I was number five in line on the app. About 20 minutes passes and a worker comes up to me and tells me the cookies I ordered came out uncooked and asked if I wanted to substitute. I asked how long it would be until the next batch is ready, she said about 10 minutes so I decided to wait. Another 15 to 20 minutes passes and a worker approaches me again and tells me the new batch also came out uncooked. At this point, I have been waiting for about 45 minutes and didn't wanna wait for a third batch. I told her what I wanted instead and about five minutes later somebody brings out my order asking me if it's correct and it is not. Another five minutes passes and finally I have my order. I understand that they are popular and busy, the staff were friendly, but I believe they need more training. It does not seem like they have enough people who are trained well enough to handle the crowds. The cookies were good but definitely not worth the wait. Been here 2 times and was lucky enough to go when there were no long lines. When they first opened, the lines were extremely long but I think the hype has died down since then. These cookies are huge and rich! I keep an eye out on the new flavors each week, and most of the time I want to try at least 1 or 2 of them. Buying the box of 4 is more cost effective than buying 1 individually, but I don't need the other 2 which is why I don't come back as often. Luckily this week, my friend and I decided to split the box to try the Twix and Reese's cookies. The Twix cookie was very good. It wasn't too overwhelmingly sweet, I think it had a nice balance because of the plain sugar cookie. The Reese's one was very rich, I usually love a peanut butter cookie, but with the peanut butter topping it felt like an overload of peanut butter. Both cookies seemed to be a bit undercooked, but maybe that's just how they are. I only ate 1/8 of the Reese's cookie and felt satisfied, while I ate half of the Twix cookie. It's always a joy to go home with the pink box and take that first delicious bite with a glass of milk, but afterwards I feel instant regret lol. But that still won't stop me from coming back the next time a flavor looks good! read more

I am giving them 3 stars because this location has just opened, and therefore they are probably still working out their operation. I found this place while looking for a bakery near Veranda since we were planning on having lunch at Yardhouse. The Veranda is a very popular shopping plaza with a lot of traffic. Their location is right next to MOD Pizza. It is a very small shop which cannot fit many people. The confusion comes before entering. The pick up counter is right in the front as soon as you walk in. Since everyone is waiting for their order, if you look through the glass, it looks like there may be a line. But there isn't. There are tablets located on the wall to the right where you can order the cookies. Or you can go up to the counter which is a little farther down. We used the tablet and ordered 4 cookies: chocolate chip, dirt cake, red velvet and frosted sugar. Ordering was really easy and took no more than 5 minutes, so we proceeded to exit and wait outside. At this time, there were about 5 people waiting in line along with a couple other groups outside. I would imagine that they have a supply of cookies already baked to serve, like most places, but it seemed like they were busy cooking and getting items out. I can't tell you exactly how long we waited but it was easily 10 minutes, and maybe even 15 minutes, before getting our box. The long wait was not due to anyone slacking off. I saw their employees running around taking orders out to guests and boxing up other orders. We got our cookies and got in the car to head home. We weren't really paying attention and did not try any of them because we wanted to enjoy it together. When we got home (30 min away), we realized that they gave us a dirt cake cookie without the frosting and gummy worm. My husband was disappointed because that was why he ordered that particular one. Even though it was not as ordered, the cookie itself was the best out of the four. The cookies themselves are very big, however, they were nothing special in terms of taste. My son can easily devour 3 or 4 regular cookies but only ate half of his red velvet. My daughter tried the sugar cookie but did not care for the icing so she only had one bite. I wanted to originally try the banana cream pie one but opted for chocolate chip because it is a safe bet. Although the chocolate chip cookie was not bad tasting, it was not memorable either. Just a larger version of a regular old chocolate chip cookie. I still gave 3 stars because I am going to chalk up the mistake and long wait to the fact that they were busy. Before this location opened the nearest crumbl to me was in Brentwood almost and hour away. When I tried them from there, they were amazing! So I was excited when this location opened. Buuuut when I went to go get some today 6/17 they had a sign on their door stating they were closed due to their ovens not working! Seriously!? This location is only 1/2 weeks old. Everything should be new and in working order. Maybe the owners should have waited to get all the bugs worked out and employees properly trained. Reading the other reviews it seems like this place has a lot to work on. I understand, things happen that are out of peoples control, but really? How can you run a cookie business with no ovens! I've been wanting to try Crumbl ever since they opened last month. I attempted to go in person once, but the wait was an hour. I attempted to do delivery and pick up through their app and it unfortunately crashed during every attempt I made. I called the store and I was told that they were overwhelmed and were not able to do delivery or pick up orders. I had honestly given up in trying the cookies anytime soon, but when I was in the area I noticed there was no line! This was probably due to the oven being broken and 2 popular cookies being sold out. I was still able to get 3 different cookies which I was happy about. It was for sure my lucky day. Overall I think that the cookies are pretty good. My favorite was the chilled sugar due to the delicious frosting that was on it. I will say I'm not sure how fresh mine were, but I would like to come back to try fresher cookies. I do think these cookies are worth going back multiple times for, but I personally would not wait in an hour long line. I'm hoping they can figure out a system for those who don't have the time to wait that long such as a specific number of pick ups or deliveries a day. They could spread out the specific number throughout each hour, so they don't get overwhelmed. Crumbl is has only been open for a month, so I can imagine how they're staff are feeling with the hype they've been receiving. HORRIBLE experience with curbside pick up and customer service today. What is the point of Curbside Pickup when you have to walk in to pick up your order after calling the store direct 3 times??? I thought I was going to beat the long lines by using the App and ordering a head time for a later pick up but that was not the case tonight. I should have just lined up with the rest of the folks since it seemed to be moving a lot faster then my Curbside App order. The App is a Joke!!! It is easy to place your order and make a payment with tip but the App does not work after that. Once I have notified the App "I am Here" for pick up my order was 8th in line then after 10-15mins I am in 7th place. Checked the App again and it no longer works and continues to spool. App definitely has Flaws! My order was to be picked up btwn 7:30pm-8pm. By 8pm I made my first call directly to the store. The employee who picked up couldn't understand that I was waiting for my curbside order and kept telling me that they have shut off all App orders so I couldn't place an order unless I'm in line. Eventually, she understood that my order was already placed and paid for and the App is no longer updating me my wait status . She eventually finds my order and explained that the frosting is the hold up on my orders and it will be delivered once it done. (In my mind that makes sense since they are busy most of the day.) 8:15pm comes around I call a second time to follow up on my order since we are only waiting on a frosting for one cookie. An employee says its almost ready it will be coming out soon. 8:30pm still not one shows up with my order in the parking lot and I am on the phone for the 3rd time with an employee asking about my order and she said it's been ready and we called your name out... By this point, it has been an hour in the parking lot and my husband and I are beyond annoyed. No one came out looking for my car that is parked four cars down the from the pizza place next store??? Not one of the employees I talked to over the phone could tell me that they will be calling my name after confirming my order will be brought out to my car??? So, I get to the door and the usher at the door was helpful and apologetic. However, once I stepped through the door not one employee acknowledged me with a hello or a smile. I stood there for a few minutes watching all of them ignore my presence while one of the employee helps another customer kindly. Two of the cashiers saw me but doesn't even say at thing to me. I finally speak up and asked for a manager and learn there isn't one on duty. The best they could do is get the Lead Shift to talk to me who seems to be the one handling all the incoming calls. I suspect she was the one I was communicating with over the phone so she will remain nameless on Yelp. I voiced my complaints and l left dissatisfied with the poor customer service and no hospitality at all. By the way, my order was barely warmed at this point. There are so many ways they could have made this experience right but did not. I barely received an acceptable apology. If you have a busy store with a ridiculous line out the door, why isn't there a manager on duty for support? Cookies are suppose to make you feel happy and comforting right!?! Honestly, the experience put a damper on the cookies for me. Frosted cookies are expected to be sweet as it is sweet. But not worth my time and the hype. I would wait it out until the hype dies down. If you prefer less sweet cookies go for the basic stuff with out the frosting and expect these cookies to be a bit pricier then normal. read more

It's amazing the difference in quality between the two. The cookies are not baked properly and fall apart when you take them out of the box. We won't be going back. Tried the concord location AGAIN... they were sold out of everything the last two days. Went in today to get a 4 pack. They were out of the 4 pack boxes so the cashier said she needed to charge me individually. (Total of $17 compared to 14.55) so let me get this correct. I have to pay extra for cookies because you guys are out of supplies which is always the case when I come here the last 3 times. This location is just a hot mess at all times. I'm uploading a picture of the curbside options for both the Brentwood location and then the concord location at the exact same time. Not really sure what's going on at the concord location but it's constantly something. Never had a trip go good from here (eye roll). Manager asked me to reach out to me on Yelp to explain the incident I had last time, sent it to him and he never replied. I even broke the message down into smaller words to send it correctly to him (word count). And this message was sent on 7/2 and I had to follow up with him about "thanks for the reply". How do you purchase a lucrative business and know how popular this establishment would be (Instagram), and you can't keep up with supply and demand (flour, sugar, and toppings, and boxes). So instead the customers have to pay more for the companies mistake. The line goes around the corner yet their out of 90% of the menu. I'm just baffled at the continuous lacking at this location. My daughter was so excited to taste this cookie , so I decided to make the drive from SF . I downloaded the APP to order ahead , I wake up at 6:30am ordered the 12 pack ! Exited that I was able to order two of every cookie offered ... well nope the cookies were not ready at the scheduled 9:30am pick up . I was told , "sorry we ran out of the featured cookies we have chocolate chip , m&m and sour patch . After my 1 hour drive to this spot being upset is an understatement ! They said maybe they would have more at 1pm ! Why would you allow people to pre order if they will not be ready ? I'm confused ? Cookies are paid in advance so if I didn't pick it up then give it away , but it is false advertisement to say you can pre-order. The workers were friendly and apologetic however this is something beyond their scope this is a Mangement issue . I left upset but decided to wait around for an hour and then called just to see if perhaps they made more , trinetta answered and she was so professional & accommodating, she said so sorry about what happened this morning , and asked her manager if she could prepackaged the kit-kat and Heath so I didn't have to wait In line again . They were hot and fresh out of the oven. I went the day after it opened and waited about a half hour. The employees were all so accommodating and kind. Crumbl deserves 3 stars because it's what 3/5 means - average. The menu changes weekly and most of the time I don't want to spend the money or calories on the flavors. Every once in a while there are some really good cookie flavors. Today I had a great apple pie cookie. For the most part though, these are just incredibly sweet cookies with lots of icing. I prefer more well-balanced desserts - these are just a high amount of sugar. read more

First time trying crumbl cookies and it was a bust! Okay, one would think that these treats would be worth the wait...but I couldn't have been more wrong. I ordered the chocolate chip, monster, sugar, dirt cake and pumpkin toll cookies. The chocolate chip and monster cookies were a big disappointment to say the least. It seems as if they may have ran out of chocolate chips/ Reese's pieces. Go figure. Both of these additions were sparse upon every bite. How can you mess a chocolate chip cookie up???? The line was so long and when I got in I noticed that only one girl was doing the register (she looked stressed, felt bad for her) and there were 8 people making cookies. 8 months later and this location still doesn't have its act together. I come back maybe once a month because the cookies are delicious, but with one exception, the store is always a disorganized mess. Last night, I had ordered ahead on the app (I am glad that online orders have been more reliable!) and arrived toward the end of my pickup window. It was 10:30 PM and didn't appear super busy. I waited for about 15 minutes with 5 other people. The employees were all standing behind the counter looking at something on a computer and not acknowledging anyone in the store. Like, several minutes of them clearly having some sort of technical confusion and not saying anything like, "sorry, it'll be just a moment!" When they finally got to my order, they were out of one kind of cookie (cinnamon) and I asked if I could replace it with a second sugar cookie. They said sure, but then said that the cinnamon cookies would be out of the oven in a minute if I wanted to wait-- I said I would wait. I got my order and was a little disappointed to see that the "thank you" packaging I had paid extra for wasn't on the box. It's only a dollar so it wasn't worth asking about when they were clearly having a confusing night. Well, I got my cookies home and my order was wrong. I had received two sugar cookies even though they had said the cinnamon was ready, and I specifically was waiting for it. And they gave me a fruity pebbles cookie instead of chocolate chip. I don't know what it is about this location. The employees always seem confused or stressed or disorganized, and they're nice but definitely not great at customer service-- to the point where I don't feel like it's worth it to ask about getting my correct order because I didn't feel like going back into the store to deal with them. There's just always something going wrong here. One time, there was a huge line and they were making everyone order on the tablets-- one girl was taking SO long placing her order on the tablet that I asked if I could pay at the register instead, but they said no. Other times, they seem to just always be out of something. Even the chocolate chip and sugar cookie, which they supposedly "always have". I think it's gotten a little better than when they opened, but you still can't consistently go in and expect to get exactly what you want. I docked off 1 star because they were out of most of the cookies when I went. They only had 3 flavors available and were out of the flavors that I wanted the most. I ended up ordering a box of 4. 1 coconut lime, 2 birthday cake, and 1 cornbread. The cookies were delicious, huge, and very sweet. Overall, the cookies are good. I kept hearing about Crumbl through my mom when she tried them in New York and I guess one opened up in Santa Rosa as well so I was excited to try them at the Veranda! I remember going on a certain day and they were closed, it could've been around the time that the fires were happening so I guess they closed that day due to the smoke, but we came back on a weekday morning and no line! Parking at the veranda can be a challenge on a busy day so just know that, they're closer to where Yard House is. The store itself is super cute and when you walk in you're instantly hit with that freshly baked cookie scent. I was so happy to get their cookies, the huge cookies almost made the price worth it, the only other thing that would've made it worth it, was if they tasted great. We got their sugar, chocolate chip, their special double chocolate, and I don't remember what the other one was but it had mnms and cookie bits. Here's my thoughts: All of the cookies were soooooooo sweet, I'm a baker and cookies are better when the flavors are balanced, but when all you can taste is sugar, it's not a very pleasant experience. We kept thinking it would get better from cookie to cookie, but the sweetness almost went up with each cookie we tried. The cookie I was most disappointed in was the chocolate chip, oh man, this was so sad, the fact that this wasn't good just made me think why people like this so much. Maybe if they put dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate and added a sprinkle of salt it would've been better, but sigh.. just no. The only saving grace was their double chocolate cookie, while it was sweet, it was the one I enjoyed the most. Would I come back? A girlfriend of mine had a batch delivered to me so I can't speak to the service/location. But based on some of the reviews I'm seeing about service... I understand the frustrations but I also understand that this is a new establishment and there are going to be things that need to be worked out. Having said that, I'll probably give it a few more months to go in and get a batch myself. What I was given; Chocolate chip - slight crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Surprisingly not too sweet considering this had either semi sweet or milk chocolate chips. I got a slight taste of the salt which I personally like in all cookies to balance out the sweetness that does come through. My preference is to use dark chocolate but for a milk chocolate/semisweet, I'm glad it wasn't too sweet. Solid chocolate chip to cookie ratio. 8/10 Frosted sugar cookie - this was my favorite out of the bunch. I like me a solid sugar cookie and this did it for me. The frosting was also really good, I couldn't put my finger on the flavor but it was reminiscent of almond/vanilla. The cookie itself was a lot softer than I think it should have been as it easily came apart when I picked it up with one hand. There was a lot more frosting than I think it needed and almost took away from the cookie itself. It should probably have slightly less frosting so the cookie could hold its form a bit longer and so that the sweetness of the frosting doesn't take over. 9/10 Banana - I'm not a big banana person and I liked this. The custard on top the cookie and banana pieces but the custard itself didn't have a heavy/strong banana taste. The custard was also creamy (pugging consistency) but the cookie was a disaster! It for sure could not hold its shape with such a heavy substance on top. I ended up having to eat it with a spoon. The custard nor the cookie were too sweet. The sugar cookie was similar to the frosted sugar cookie if not the same cookie completely. 7/10 Overall, I'd give this place another try. I hear they rotate their flavors so I'd like to see what else they have up their sleeves. The cookies themselves are thick/big. Not sure how much they are a pop but eating even just half made me full. But again, i probably won't make my way there for a couple more months when they got things going smoothly (and hopefully new/more flavors). -1 star for the consistency of the sugar cookies/ratios of frosting to cookie. read more

But only reason I'm giving it a 3 out of 5 is because of the raw cookie which led me to get food poisoning. Staff please make sure you guys are cooking your cookies all the way! I am sooo disappointed. I've been looking forward to trying these cookies after hearing all the hype and the pictures of delicious cookies. I finally had time to spend some time to purchase these. I bought a party box of 12 cookies and the total was 43.00. When I opened the box I was shocked. I could've sworn that were all supposed to have frosting. But 3 of them didn't! I tried calling to no avail. 3 times and couldn't get through. I tried emailing the support and I got am email back just saying to call the store. Highly disappointed. The cookies are delicious however, the service is horrible. I placed a curbside pick up at 8am for a pick up of 1130. I get to crumble to pick them up and all the cookies are sold out and my prepaid/pre order of only 4 cookies wouldn't be ready for another hour. Fine, I waited. I come back at 1230 and the cookies are STILL being cooked and wouldnt be ready for another 20 min. 1hr and 20 min later I get the cookies I ordered at 8am! Unreal!! Maybe the should only sell a certain amount in store to make sure they have enough cookies for the pre-order? Hmm just a thought! read more
