I ordered the pancake cookie, but ate it over the duration of a weekend as I couldn't see myself consuming the whole thing in one sitting, sugar overload. Overall, it tasted great and had quality ingredients. The ambiance had a busy environment setting to it, didn't give much of an impression that you can stay there to eat. Finally decided to check this place out since I'm always shopping at the nearby Target. I only saw one person in line so I figured it was a good time. There was one cashier working with the customer that was taking awhile and so I appreciated another employee stopping what they were doing to help me. The samples displayed all looked delicious. I let my 7-year old pick out one to share and thankfully he decided on the mint chip ice cream. By the look of it, I was expecting actual ice cream on top of it but it was more of a chilled cream frosting that was just as delicious. My current obsession, my daughter introduced this place to us and every since summer I've been coming in every other week at least 2x a month. It is located in the Target plaza with amble parking spaces. It's right across the Brea mall. You can order online thru their app or you can go in to order. We thought we had come at the perfect time but, once we got home we realized they were all basically raw in the center. I was ecstatic (no seriously) when I found out there was a Crumbl close to my area! I have been craving these cookies since I tried them in San Diego and was not even hesitant to make the trek South just for cookies! Alas they are close by! I visited Monday at about 12:00 pm and there were only a few people ahead of me but found they were all waiting on orders so I managed to be next to order. Service was very friendly and helpful. I expressed how excited I was to be there! Side note: you can mobile order for pick up, curbside or delivery. Their app system is very good. They also have a rewards program so make sure to give them your phone number. I ordered the 6 cookie box and 2 separate single cookies as gifts... yes must enlighten others! ;) They rotate flavors every week I believe so aside from their chilled pink frosted cookie (my favorite), chocolate chip, and oatmeal, they had a cinnamon roll cookie, a chocolate brownie cookie, and a "muddy" cookie. The brownie cookie was very rich but not dry, too good! And the muddy cookie consisted of a peanut butter cookie with chocolate spread on top and a few pieces of "muddy buddies" on top (the Chex squares with peanut butter, chocolate, and powdered sugar)... I mean need i say more? The cookies are warm which makes them EXTRA GOOD! The pink frosted is the only chilled cookie but like I said it's my favorite, it will make you go back. Okay this is a PROBLEM. I consider myself a bit of a cookie aficionado after having tried every local cookie store near me and having ordered cookies from multiple cookie businesses across the country. The one place I hadn't tried until now was Crumbl Cookies, which had been showing up on my feed for quite a while but always seemed too far and out of reach. But then I learned they just opened this Brea branch and I had no more excuses. Haha. I stopped by on a weekday and it was surprisingly packed, though the line thankfully moved quickly. Their flavors rotate weekly so I was lucky to have stopped by on a day when they were serving one of my favorite flavors- Sea salt toffee. I also purchased a cookies & creme, because honestly who in their right mind can stop at just one??? The cookies were giant and served warm, so they both had that perfect melt-in-your-mouth gooey texture that I absolutely love. The sea salt toffee was of course my favorite, but the cookies & creme, which was topped with oreo crumble and white chocolate drizzle, was also pretty good in a totally decadent sort of way. Overall, the cookies were delicious to the point that I am willing to return (despite traffic) and put up with another line for them - the true sign of desserts that are worth it! However, all the cookie flavors I got were just much too sweet for me. I could only have 1 bite of each and that was it. The flavors I got were the Samoa's, Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Chip & Peanut Butter Brownie. My favorite out of them was actually the peanut butter brownie, which was surprisingly the least sweet out of the bunch. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't think I would go out of my way to come back. I was in the area and decided to try this new cookie place that I've been hearing about. I decided to do curbside pickup via the app. Note: There really isn't a parking spot designated for the Crumbl, so you just have to find a random spot in the parking lot. When I was in a parking spot, I pressed the "I'm here." The app notified me that I was 3rd in line. I waited for about 5 minutes until it said it was my turn.
