The old adage "You can't judge a book by its cover," is true here. This place looks forgotten, ignored, unassuming, but produces the finest bakery items in Orange County. You enter and have to immediately get into a line. Inside, it is like a aged cafeteria of your childhood. You have to wait for a young lady who can't even look over the top of the counter because there is so much stuff piled high. She stands on tip toes to see you and you have to shout at her and point what you want. The problem is when she sees you, you are near the cash register, so you must say excuse me and walk in front of a line of people to point and shout out what you want. It is so poorly designed and complicated to order. We all endure because like the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld, the product is worth it. They sell the world's best Olive bread, scones, and strawberry crossants. If you survive the line, you make it to the cash register, pay, get a bag and leave. There is no where to sit. There is no internet. They shuffle you through and on to the next one. The pastry items are incredible and worth the trouble.

The more you buy, the larger the discount. It feels like it's gone through shrinkflation though. Also not as good as it used to be. Adzuki cream: 10/10. The hidden star of the place. Absolutely phenomenal. Great flavor. The whipped cream is slightly too sweet but amazing otherwise. Love the red bean in here. There's a good mix of textures. Feels light thanks to the cream. Cream puff: 6/10. Was disappointed by this to be honest. Other pastries I've tried like the one in the photo are just okay. Nothing stand out. Customer service isn't great. Someone cut in front of me and they didn't care. Free parking and plenty of it since it's a large plaza.

We made French toast with the brioche and made sourdough toast with butter and jam. Both were excellent. We were only going to buy the loaf of sourdough but the guy helping us told us it was buy one, get one free so we choose the brioche. What a deal! We don't know if this is their regular deal or it was for the holiday or what but we were thrilled. We don't live in OC but we're not too far so we can come visit our friends and pick up more bread when whenever we want. So happy we tried the bread. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out! We really hope they reopen again elsewhere or do a lot of pop-ups soon.

Super average and overpriced cookies, I do not understand the hype. The box was so dirty, it had icing and crumbles of cookies everywhere outside of it. I saw a review about the cashier Izzy and it is true I came yesterday and she looked like she didn't know what she was doing as well as the other boy cashier. The whole place seems very disorganized and very dirty. I understand that the place just opened and they may be just sorting everything out but you would think you would get amazing service since it is brand new. My cousin works at this location and she said that the management is very bad and there is a lack of professionalism and communication. I walked into Crumbl Cookies and immediately felt like I was in cookie heaven. I noticed one employee doing it all - making cookies, packaging them up, and even chatting it up with the customers. I am not really one to leave reviews at places but I had the worst experience at this Crumbl location (I've been to all in socal). The employees don't care at all and none of them are wearing masks. The cookies in the box looked like a mess and the cashier was being very sassy. I don't recommend getting cookies at this location, it looks like the place is aimlessly ran by a bunch of teenagers who clearly don't know what they are doing. There is plenty of parking on both sides of the business. Surprisingly there wasn't much of a line this morning like there has been on previous National Donut Days. Customer service is always top notch. They were running a special today for the "holiday" as well. There are a few seats available on the inside for you to enjoy your selections there. Got a dozen donuts and a large iced coffee for $28.95. With the price of groceries these days, I'm not surprised at this price either. Their breakfast sandwiches are really good as well. I was driving by, and they were still open, so I went in. I wanted something a little more than a donut, so I ordered a ham and cheese bagel along with my favorite, a maple bar. Now the place is called "Jumbo Donuts", and I will admit, the donuts here are bigger than your average Dunkin'. I even measured the maple bar just for fun. Now the cake donuts, donut holes, and some others were maybe a little bigger than other places, but not by much. Now to the food. The hand and cheese bagel was a perfect late breakfast/early lunch. No complaints. Considering it was your average restaurant pop-up toaster; it was toasted just right. The maple bar, my test item for every donut shop, was pretty good. I prefer a creamier maple rather than the thin layer that flakes off, but the maple flavor was there. The main bar was soft on the inside but a little tough on the outside. It might have been because it's been sitting there for a while, but I would order it again. I did have to cut it in half and eat the other half later because it was just a little too much to eat all at once. The place was clean, the people were friendly enough, and I got what I wanted, so I'm happy.

The donuts here are quite the size, I'd say they're a great deal for what they go for. My family also gets the donuts they want, and finds it perfect to its taste! This small donut shop is a family-owned bakery with small seating and early opening, probably because rush hour in the morning to work, and the staff is really kind!
