We stopped in on a Friday night, with no expectations. Their shop is bright and inviting, until you start talking to the cashier. She was lifeless and when asked "what flavor is the pink velvet" she responded with "it's like a sugar cookie with frosting" in a barely audible voice. We decided on the milk chocolate and the chocolate strawberry cheesecake. The chocolate chip was pretty good, moist and soft while the chocolate strawberry cheesecake was just basically a brownie with frosting on top. There was no discernible cheesecake or strawberry flavor. To top it off, the total came to just over $9 for the two cookies, not cheap. I can't see myself coming back here. read more

Brand new location with a huge line, had to check it out! Besides the chocolate chip and sugar cookie, all cookie flavors change each week. A little disappointed because large catering orders have to be made 3 days in advance, even if you want to order the mini cookies (must order 50+ to get them for $0.98 a cookie). Price point is a little steep, $36 for large box of 12 cookies. I bought 5 large boxes, since it's a mall parking lot, I was parked way out there. I couldn't carry all boxes on my own and definitely had to make a trip back. No one in the store offered to help. A family behind me, of a mom, daughter (about 11) , and son (maybe 12) was holding the infant car seat carrier with a baby. The boy asks me "miss do you need a hand?" I honestly could not believe it. I mean, no offense, in CA there are so many crimes with child abductions and things like that, I just didn't think they were from here. Not saying I am going to do that. But a small gesture like this just doesn't happen at all these days. Actually pretty much never. Anyway I looked at the mom and she said he can help me, and the boy grabbed the other two boxes and followed me to my car, helped me load them in and he was off to his mom's car. I wish I had like a tip to give him or a smaller box of cookies. His gesture yesterday just made my day. His mom raised him right, that's for sure. If I ever see that kid and family in there again, they're guaranteed a large box of cookies! Also, all my clients melted over these cookies! So at the end of the day I finally got to try the chocolate chip... absolutely show stopper... it was to die for! read more

Not practical cookies. Gag food. My friend and I had high expectations for these cookies since they were trending on Tik Tok. We both work at bakeries so we know what good cookies taste like. If you want something similar to these but less the price, might as well get the sugar cookies from Walmart. Imagine box cake mix cookies and they're literally the same thing. I got insanely sick after eating their cookies!!! It was fresh out of the oven and I've never had any issues w cookie dough either, the cookie I received was a bit raw in the middle but I just assumed it was fine considering it's been baked and I've never gotten sick from eating cookie dough before. About a couple hours later I was throwing up profusely and had to go to the doctor. TLDR: Extremely bad service. Too many workers for their own good, all running around trying to do everything with their heads cut off. It didn't seem like there was a manager working, or if they were they didn't have any management experience because it was so disorganized. This Crumbl is the answer to my chunky prayers and my waist line's worst nightmare. I have been getting Crumbl cookies at various locations since last year before they blew up on TikTok. I don't understand the people that say they're just basic, or that they're overrated. Some of them can be a little bit standard, but there are truly some that have just blown my foodie mind. When I had first tried them, I was up in Idaho near my parents' house in Meridian. Here in California there weren't any close locations. So I shipped cookies at least twice, and made a trip to San Diego and two trips to Rancho Santa Margarita just for certain weekly flavors. The cost of shipping is so reasonable compared to Levain. I unfollowed Levain after having Crumbl cookies, but to each their own. Maybe you didn't try the Biscoff, s'more's, fruit tart, etc. Too many good flavors to list. Then this week's mallow cookie legit tastes like a hostess cupcake, so I picked some up tonight for dessert with a friend tomorrow. Anyway, it's not really about the taste for me when it comes to location since I am finding that everywhere is pretty standard across-the-board. Sometimes the decorating is different but, the key components are there. The other locations frustrated me super badly because of their curbside pick up process. Brea and La Habra do not have dedicated spots, and when you check in you end up lumped in line with everyone else. I was number 14 in line on a weekday afternoon. Like, are you kidding me with this? It's madness. The Brea shopping center was ridiculously busy already before Crumbl came along and has limited parking. I found that La Habra has a Starbucks drive-thru line that wraps around the front of the Crumbl store. It was like the franchise owners purposely asked themselves, "How can I majorly inconvenience my customers?" My advice is to avoid these locations at all costs if you value efficiency. So Orange... I found that this place has two Village spots that are each for 10 minute parking, so I was super hopeful my first time there. I have been here three times since, and every time I received my order quickly plus the curbside employee was smiley and friendly. I haven't gone inside so I'm curious about the flies, but for now ignorance is bliss. It will be up to you whether you believe the hype or not, but I will happily keep coming back. read more

Second time I've had an issue at this location and I got ignored when I called to rectify the problem. I got the maple cinnamon roll cookie which had NO cinnamon roll filling at all and was completely raw. Not their usual slightly undercooked moist cookie, but so raw you can see it in the pictures. I called to ask if I could return the cookie and get it replaced. I was put on hold for over 20 min. I called back and was IMMEDIATELY put on hold for over 30 min without them even asking what I was calling for so I assume they knew I hung up and called right back. The first issue was another undercooked cookie which I just thought was the way it was. I go to the Brea and La Habra locations often with no issues. Just Orange. They didn't even start my online order until I got there and told them I was there for an order. 6 people all just standing around not cooking cookies. read more

This place is unsanitary. Staff is unprofessional and unfriendly. I used to stop by regardless and give in to try their cookies off their weekly menu since it's close to home. However, I took a bite out of my cookie and it had a hair in it. The hair wrapped around my tongue and it was the most disgusting feeling. I decided to take the rest of the cookies back to get a refund because there was no way I was going to still crave the rest. I come in, they didn't even greet me. I tried to explain the situation. I was mindful accidents like that happen and all I wanted was my refund. Even so, staff were unprofessional. They never apologized, they kept "working" on my refund with a serious face in which they couldn't do right. My refund never got to me. I won't be wasting my time again to try to get my $17 back and look like a fool at their shop. I get that Crumbl hires young staff but they really should live up to its fame and bring in staff who respect their job, keep a clean shop, and care for customer service. I was debating either a 2 or 3 stars. If I took price into consideration it'd easily be a 2, because $4.25 for a cookie? $4.58 with tax? Ridiculous for what you get. However if I'm just talking about the cookie here it gets 3 stars, 3 and a half.. it was a decent cookie. It was a little sweet, but I though the thickness of the cookie was pretty good. However I didnt go "wooahh" after taking a bite. And if I'm eating something with that many calories I better be going woah! Anyway come to try it out, the line was long so people seemed to enjoy it. Hubby and I after enjoying Red Robin, took a walk around the mall to relieve our over eating. Arriving, I saw that this shop was finally opened. Wanted to see what the hype was about. Lots of Young Employees. Too many? It was confusing seeing them run around. Of course I was gonna try them. Not cheap though. Bought 4. Peach, Strawberry & cream, and 2 milk chocolates. Box is oblong and awkward. Brought home. They did sit for about an hour. Husband loved it. ( His taste buds are whacked) I took a bite of chocolate cookie, started chewing, and just tasted heavy with oil. I spat it out. Just too oily tasting for me, and milk chocolate is not real chocolate. Of course had to try my choice, the peach cookie. Tasted like a mini peach pie. Not impressed. Ended up with Heartburn. I do not see this Company surviving long. Nothing special, nothing healthy to offer. Choices of various cookies will become boring, only little kids would continue to request. But I'd rather get up earlier and visit Donut Hub, for some fresh light tasty treats. read more

These cookies were just ok. The cinnamon fry bread needed more of the cinnamon frosting. All the other cookies were generously covered in frosting, but this one barely got a dollop of frosting. The caramel apple was good, however, there was no caramel. It should've at least had caramel drizzle or some thing. The sugar cookie need some sprinkles or something to add creativity.
