Wow, truly amazing. I was craving sourdough with jalapeños and cheddar and I couldn't find it anywhere that bakes it fresh. I almost gave up, until somehow I stumbled upon Crust Artisan Bakery. I had a sandwich and cappuccino. The egg in the sandwich was so overcooked it was charred brown. Once I took off the egg, the sandwich was ok but nothing special. Same with the coffee. Too expensive for the quality. I was only there for about 25 minutes but the employee called out to Alexa to keep playing music 5 times. Maybe they could upgrade their music situation. This was my second visit to Crust and my first time trying the bread pudding. Phenomenal, most not too sweet, just right. I also had a tuna sandwich and did not think one needed olives, but not going forward I don't think I can have another tuna sandwich without. Coming from a family-owned ethnic bakery of over 30 years, I have a strong sense of what breads/baked goods have high quality ingredients and freshness, if I may say. The focaccia bread at Crust Artisan, has both. You can also feel the love and pride in their work, rightfully so! The chocolate chip cookie was also delicious, and you can feel that it was made from scratch. Customer service was excellent, and the space itself had a light & airy feel to it. So excited to have a place that sells fresh sourdough loaves nearby. There is just something special about fresh bread that outshines any bread you can get at the grocery store. The pastries here are also pretty delicious especially the chocolate almond croissant. Everything we've tried from here has been great. The potato pie is a nice hearty treat. A friend of mine recommended this little hidden gem inside a business area that I'd been to probably hundreds of times but didn't know was there. There are a few spots inside to sit down if you wish, but the bakery itself is small. Each time I've been, the employees have been incredibly nice and accommodating. Yesterday I went home with a ciabatta loaf and a jalapeño cheddar loaf that they cut for me, which is so convenient. I really didn't think that the entire loaf of jalapeño cheddar would be eaten within a day and a half, so I had to go back today to get more. Along with another jalapeño cheddar loaf, I also took home some small monkey breads, a pistachio croissant, and a mini croissant. The pistachio croissant had cream pistachio filling inside and it was so so good. The plain mini croissant was also nice and flaky and was really good according to my daughter. The monkey bread was also incredible. Everything we have gotten from this great little bakery has exceeded our expectations and we will most definitely be repeat customers many times to come. Parking can get a little overwhelming as it's shared parking with Starbucks, has the Starbucks drive thru chaos, and there's also a Sprouts very nearby, but don't let that scare you. Just park in the smaller lot where the nail salon is on the other side of the drive thru entrance so you can bypass all the drive thru craziness. read more

Ordered catering from them for a small office breakfast and everything was perfect. We got a tray of mini breakfast croissants and assorted sandwiches and people couldn't stop talking about them. The croissants were flaky and fresh, and the sandwiches were made on their house bread which made a huge difference. Super easy ordering process and everything was ready on time. read more

The bread had that perfect crust and chew, and the capocollo with the cheese and greens was just the right balance of salty and fresh. I'm in agreement with some of the other reviews that I wish there was milk/lattes/variety of drinks, that way this could be a one stop shop on my Saturday mornings! Last time I got the peppermint tea and it was good but I found myself wanting to add some milk and honey I'm really excited for the evolution of this bakery and I'm hoping to see some cool drinks soon :) read more

Been wanting to try this place for so long and I regret waiting this long. My husband and I went on a Saturday morning and plan on making this our regular spot moving forward. We tried the caprese sandwich and Italian club and both were made to perfection. You can tell the bread is fresh and the ingredients are top quality! We also got desert to go - the monkey bread, chefs pudding, and chocolate twist were delicious! If only we had room to try more. The focaccia was so soft it melted in our mouths. The house sourdough was rustic - it tasted like it came out of a grandmas house in Europe, fresh out of the oven. If you like sourdough- you have to try. The baguette was so soft and crunchy - I got 3 - one for me , my brother and mom. The croissants were so soft and buttery. The cottage cheese pastries were so distinctive, my dad and mom were in awe. The blueberry scone, looked and tasted like it came from a fairy tale. I was looking for lunch in this plaza when I stopped to charge and found this gem of a bakery. We had the turkey pesto panini on ciabatta, 10/10. Turkey was juicy, bread was perfectly toasted with a beautiful crunch. Service was great, the man who assisted us was kind. The dining area was clean and nicely decorated. We also got the monkey bread (8.5/10) and strawberry danish (10/10. I haven't had monkey bread before, but it sets high expectations for my next. The top wasn't particularly amazing, but the bottom was moist and just chef's kiss. Strawberry danish was exactly everything I hoped it would be. Not overwhelmingly sweet, custard was perfect, strawberries sweet, pastry flaked wonderfully. The cappuccino was made how they should be (8/10). Our order: one breakfast sandwich, 2 pastries, one cappuccino = ~$33. Highly, highly recommend. I'm so happy we opted to try this bakery over grabbing Starbucks. read more

This is a great newish place in Burbank. The pastries are good & they have some different items than the usual fair like pistachio escargo roles, Nutella Cruffins & a few types of cottage cheese pastries. (But the have croissants scones cinnamon rolls and other more straight forward pastry treats too!)
