It's a nice, free place for a slow-paced stroll, but a bit underwhelming if you are looking for a vibrant atmosphere.

There are statues and benches throughout the downtown area that add to the charm of historic downtown grapevine. Some of my favorite areas in the historic downtown area are talking animals (book shop), house of shine (non-profit/museum) and the farmer's market of grapevine. I look forward to my next visit.

It's worth a visit when passing the time away waiting for your flight. There are tables and charging stations. It has an interactive photo booth as well as a digital archive. The Max Headroom skateboard lured me in. One of the giant bottles on display weighs in at 2 tons. I think it's the one from Boliva that has Aztec carvings. There have been a few times that my gate has changed-at the last minute of course-and I've almost lost my breath shuttling to the opposite side of the airport to board my plane in time. Now I know why! This, however, was the first time my gate was located in Terminal D. Lo and behold, there were even MORE dining options but what instantly caught my eye and held my attention was the "Coca-Cola Around the World Experience." It's a Coca-Cola MUSEUM in DFW airport. I happen to enjoy quirky installations in unexpected places, and this one showcases everything from an interactive photo booth to a curated collection of vintage Coke memorabilia and even a digital archives explorer. You can walk to security and connect to any terminal quickly using the DFW Skylink, which makes early flights or tight connections much easier. The rooms appear recently renovated and feel far more upscale than a typical airport hotel. Warm wood floors, modern lighting, and a well-designed layout make the space feel calm and comfortable. The bathroom was a highlight -- the freestanding soaking tub and large glass shower felt more like something you'd expect in a luxury hotel rather than an airport property. Despite being inside the airport, the room was extremely quiet. Check-in was excellent as well. Desiree at the front desk greeted us immediately with a smile and offered assistance, which made a great first impression. Traveler tip: If your flight departs from another terminal, go through security in Terminal D and use the Skylink train inside security -- it's usually faster and very easy to navigate. Overall, beautifully updated rooms, excellent service, and unbeatable convenience for anyone traveling through DFW. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had to scramble to find a hotel, and I'm so thankful we ended up at the Hyatt Regency DFW. After checking in, there was a small mix-up with our room assignment, but Imbert C., the Front Desk Supervisor, immediately stepped in, corrected the situation, and even provided us with a credit to use at the restaurants on the property. That level of customer service made all the difference. Every staff member we encountered was amazing and genuinely friendly--from the front desk and housekeeping to the restaurant, bar, and shuttle drivers. The property was spotless everywhere we looked, and we loved that they even had board games and playing cards available for guests. When you're stuck away from home with nothing but time, those little touches mean so much. The airport shuttle service was another huge plus. It ran on time, the buses were clean, and the drivers were friendly and helpful, making sure everyone got to the correct terminal. Thank you, Hyatt Regency DFW, for turning a stressful travel disruption into a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Your hospitality truly stood out, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Even the layout with the elevators worked well for us. It was easy to get around and get where we needed to go. Overall, a strong stay and good food. The Hyatt Regency gets 5 stars from me.

What could be better? Well I will tell you, they also have a genealogy center. Do you need a quiet room for a zoom? They've got you covered. Need to borrow a computer and print out your resume? Got it. They even have a wall dedicated to job hunters, with flyers showing you local businesses who are hiring. But it is not just books, they have the STRANGEST collection of things you can check out. For example, bongos. Yes bongos. Also metal detectors and sewing machines. New to the area and would like to meet people and learn to play mahjong? I believe that is on Thursdays. This is also where I come to perform my civic duty and vote on all things from school boards to presidents. Libraries are an important community resource and their value is immeasurable. They are the original search engines. An entre building offering knowledge, entertainment, and resources. You can do a great service to your community just by signing up for a library card.
