Cubby's is always great! They're one of the most consistent franchises I've had the pleasure to eat at. The ingredients feel fresh, the service is always friendly and helpful, and it's a cute atmosphere. I'd highly recommend the tri-tip steak sandwich and the rosemary fries, and wash it down with a delicious Mocha Loca shake. My only feedback to the restaurant (and please be aware of this when ordering) is despite online ordering or over the phone for pickup, your food is rarely ready when they say it is. It's not uncommon for me to show up on the 20-30 minute window they give me, only to have to wait another 10-15 minutes. It's always hot and fresh, so it's generally worth the wait. read more

We've tried Cubby's four times over the last few years but haven't found anything we like except the sweet potato fries. The burgers are overcooked (soft buns). Kombucha is delicious, but that's in a bottle from somewhere else... to open it, you have to grab the opener off the top of the dusty, greasy fridge. Gross. There were more little kids than adults, probably because of the plethora of kids meal options. Seats are hard and flat, garbage was full, and taking turns for the bathroom takes forever with all the littles needing their hands washed. We want to like it here, but it's just not our jam, I guess. In the area, I'd rather get a burger at Smashburger, Chedda Burger, or the Carl's Jr. lettuce wrapped. And instead of a burger, Pizza Studio is way better than the other fast pizza joints. read more

I just don't get this place I guess. I've been here 3 times now, tried the sandwich first and wasn't impressed. So boring and way overpriced. Then I tried the salads, not bad but just nothing there to go out of my way over. But many friends love this place so I came back again. I was told the burger is the best thing on the menu so tried that this time: Overcooked patty (no juiciness at all), other ingredients overpowered the meat flavor, but the bun was nice. I thought the sweet potato fries were pretty good though. Overall, it's not a bad place, has some fresh ingredients but it's also super loud inside, you never feel like you have any privacy while you eat, and the prices are too high for what you get. read more

I recommend getting the avocado cream instead of chipotle. I felt like the avocado cream brought out more flavor really making them so tasty!! Cubby's is a must stop spot when you are anywhere in Utah county. They have the best food and its fresh and healthy. I usually get the buffalo chicken salad and it just melts in my mouth. I have also had the trip tip steak salad and its just as yummy and that my husbands go to. The store is clean but its a very casual place so its a nice lunch or brunch spot. Dress is casual and the staff is very nice. read more

I usually enjoy cubbies a lot but THIS LOCATION is always bad! I live close and go all the time but every time they mess up my order. Yesterday yet again they messed up my salad. I asked for no scallions and they gave me lots. The Tri tip salad got smaller and only had a few pieces of meat and cheese and toppings on it. I can't believe I paid $10 for this. Even worse is the next morning I had the worst food poisoning in my life. I was puking every five minutes for two hours with severe sweating and headache and fatigue. Ok, so you're hungry and there's just no way you can stand another burger from the Golden Arches, so we decided to try Cubby's out. My first impression is that it's one of these new, quasi-gourmet burger places. When I looked at the menu and noticed they build burgers only from grass fed, local beef, I knew there wouldn't be a value meal available. The Food tastes good. I enjoy the selection of fries and of course the three available choices of fry sauce! This location was busy with lots of small kids and young adults running around and hanging out, talking. I'm sure it's just in a big tub all pre-made. The salad was ok and tasted fresh, but not really priced reasonably. $13 for a large salad? My daughter ordered the Gypsy burger. It looked really good. She doesn't like barbecue sauce so it wasn't her favorite. Also, the seating area is super chilly. We were so uncomfortable because we were freezing while eating. Yikes! This place is fairly tasty and healthy. If you're into keto, dairy-free, gluten-free, or a plant-based diet, this place will do the trick, but might freeze and you'll definitely spend. read more

This location is so frustrating. 3 weeks ago I did take out and they said it be ready in 10 minutes. It was ready in 40 even though there were a total of 5 customers in the restaurant. Then they forgot the tri-tip on my tri-tip salad and gave me stale cold fries. I had to go back and get the meat. The same thing happened to me over thanksgiving. Forgot the meat on my chicken salad and took way long to bring the food out for pick up. And now I just did door dash and they forgot all the sauces and I ordered rosemary fries and they gave me regular. Ugh I'm just frustrated over the quality of service because I really love the food! I had a fun lunch date with my sister, and boy did we hit the jackpot! She ordered the ever-so-famous Tri Tip Steak Sandwich with a side of Rosemary Peppered French Fries. I got the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad (exchanged the mustard vinaigrette for the raspberry one--I've never been a dijon lover) and a side of Sweet Potato Fries. Let me tell you, straight up delish, all of it. The Tri Tip Sandwich, like I said, is what Cubby's is known for. And although it was fabulous, I also wished I would have gotten the Cockadoodledoo chicken sandwich, I hear that one is even better. So, pick your poison (it's really not poisoned, it's delightful), and if you decide to get both chicken and steak, that's fine with me too. The Sweet Potato Fries were killer. The reason I liked it so much was that they actually gave me a nice handful--as opposed to other restaurants and their stingy selves. The Rosemary Fries were different, I enjoyed them with a side of sweet BBQ fry sauce, I know it sounds weird, but just trust me on that one. The man sitting next to our table was eating the Buffalo Fries, and those looked incredible too. It took all of me not to just reach across and help him finish his basket. It was crowded, LOTS of people waiting for tables. Luckily, we were able to get a table right away, as there was only two of us, but just beware. Maybe send a runner to scout out possible seating arrangements while you order their food. I did love the atmosphere, a fun and upbeat restaurant with some fun and upbeat waiters! Loved Cubby's for years and still do, it's just hard to choke down the cost when there's so much more value out there for what you're paying. Use to love their breakfast items but they didn't have enough business I guess since they stopped that after a few months. If they could make combo meals or at a minimum keep their prices down I'd go a lot more often. Great food, weird portions and high price. Can eat at a restaurant for less. read more

Quick meal at Cubby's - I'm a huge fan of their salads and got the Tri Tip Salad again but love the Lemon Chicken Parmesan and Mixed Berry too. My husband got the Mr. Beef and the Buffalo Bleu Cheese fries. He spends a lot of time in Chicago and it wasn't what he is used to but it's good for Utah. Main reason for a low rating is the service. The kid who took our order was unbelievably rude. He made it very clear we were inconveniencing him by being there. The cashier was very thoughtful when we wanted to order a salad without protein as the protein options weren't appealing to someone on a vegetarian diet, and tried their best to accommodate us, but the manager came over and made things more complicated than necessary. When removing protein entirely from a salad It doesn't decrease the price. Then if you wanted to add an egg (not part of the protein options), they could do It but It would cost more. In the end, we end up paying more for less and It makes no sense considering we come here often. Kind of ridiculous that they weren't willing to adjust the price for us.. Stopped in here after spending the morning with the kids at the children's museum. There was a little bit of a rush at lunch time, but it died down pretty quick. Saw several of the moms from the museum. I ordered the black bean burger, with a side of rosemary fries. The burger was really good! Had avocado, cheese, jalapenos, some kind of sauce... pretty messy, but what good burger isn't? I dipped the fries in their fry sauce. They are just as good even without the sauce though. Just the right amount of rosemary seasoning. Tried the chipotle fry sauce as well. Smokey, with a little kick at the end. My three year old got the kids t-rex, no bacon. The kids meal comes with fries, a side of fruit, and a drink. Pretty good stuff! Organic, grass fed beef, local food. A little pricey, but it's to be expected. The wait time to get the food was a little long. We had 6 restless kids with us, so that was pretty much the only downside. read more
