Cubby's is pretty good. Their sweet potato fries are probably the best thing on the menu. I feel the food is a little over priced. We usually have food ordered from there for work. If I was having to pay on my own I would never recommend eating here. Haha there is better food for a cheaper price. read more

This place was packed when we came for lunch. We had to walk around and around to get a table. We almost ended up sitting 3 people at a two top, but then found a better table. The grilled cheese sandwich was yummy and you get a ton of fries with your order. We shared a batch because there is too many for one person. I liked the options for dipping the fries. I'd like to come back a try a couple other options to see what I like best. read more

I came here with some coworkers. I got the gypsy and the rosemary fries. We got the only empty table. Someone was really nice and cleaned it for us. My burger was really good. I want to start by saying, this review is not a diss on Cubby's, but on the Lehi location. My husband and I LOVE cubby's and eat there at least twice a month. The food is amazing, but we usually avoid this location even though it is the closest to our house. 1. The cashier--she was not friendly at all. I understand someone having a bad day, but if that's the case maybe don't work at the cash register. She was very snappy as we placed our order and rolling her eyes at us. (Mind you, we didn't have a crazy complicated order...we got 2 sandwiches and an order of fries). She asked if we wanted our order to stay or to go--we said "to stay" and she told us not to forget to take our number with us. 2. The bathroom--there seems to be a few other reviews about this issue. The symbols on the door to the bathroom are super confusing. When you go inside they are filthy. Toilet paper on the ground, pee on the seat, no urinal (meaning--extra pee on the seat). The faucet is super high up so it sprays and splashes when you turn it on. 3. The service--we typically wait about 10-15 minutes for our food at cubby's. At this location it's usually double the time for the same order. After waiting for 25 minutes someone brought our order over in a brown to-go bag. After we were told (very rudely) to not forget our number for our order. (This is not the first time this has happened to me at this location. Even when I am sitting at a table with my order number). Our order had been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes and because of this our fries were cold and soggy. Sandwiches were still delicious. Moral of the story--The food is amazing and definitely worth it, but maybe avoid this location until management can resolve some of these reoccurring issues. read more

The food here is great. However the service was far less than par and we waited quite a while for our food. We thought we could get in and out in 30 min but it took oer an hour. My wife's salad was wrong. I was told I had to select "yes" for a receipt when there was no option. Then I was told they don't do receipts and I have to find it online... The owner personally messaged me and offered to buy our next meal. I appreciate the offer and they have definitely responded well to my experience. They are contenders for the best sweet potato fries. My problem is, I get sick if I eat anything but a salad from there. I will say, their mixed berry salad makes my heart happy, so it's not really a problem. They have plenty of seating for a group outing, but also works well for quality 1:1s. Not a lot of vegan options but what they do have if great! The staff is not very knowledgeable or very friendly. I understand going to a place like Cubby's for vegan food isn't the best idea, but if you're going to offer it at least make sure your staff knows what is and isn't vegan and label your menu accurately. read more

Food is pretty good. I like the dragon slayer and my wife can't seem to order anything else besides the tri tip steak salad. My one complaint is that the staff here in the evening seems to believe the closing time means "you should leave now" time. I worked fast food as a teenager and we were taught to let people order up until closing time and then let them enjoy their meal while we finished cleaning up in the back. It seems most restaurant have the same attitude and let you finish your meal before rushing you out. Twice now we've had this experience where we are rushed out. The first time, 18 min before closing they told us we could only order to go. We decided to just sit and eat quickly as we didn't have anywhere to eat after our evening mountain bike ride. This didn't go over well with the staff and within 5 min of closing time they kept coming by giving us obvious hints to leave. To management - either train your staff that closing time doesn't mean "rush everyone out time" or adjust your closing time 30 min earlier, but tell your staff their shift still ends at the same time. We will drive a little further to find another option for our post 9pm meals as food doesn't taste as good when you are rushed to eat. read more

Not five stars for one reason, you better be willing to wait for your burger. They have lines of people and they make everything what I believe is "fresh" as they claim. Their burgers though, are worth the wait. I buy the CHE all the time. Getting it with double patty's is excessive, and truthfully isn't as juicy if you just have one. The Gypsy is also very tasty, COMPLETELY different from the Che, less filling, but more savory with the fried onions. That's all I've had, tried the tritip sandwich once many years ago (when they were brand new), I wasn't impressed, but I hear it's come along way since. read more

If there was an option for a half star (which I wish there was..) I MIGHT give them 3.5. We are in town visiting family and had our list of fav Utah food spots to visits, Cubby's being at the top! We usually love Cubby's. This time, the sandwich lacked in meat and was overly sauced. My husband and I shared this meal and both left underwhelmed. For ten dollars, I expected more out of that sandwich. On the other hand, that Blueberry shake was unreal and those sweet potato fries are delicious and perfectly crispy. I certainly won't be swearing off cubby's forever but I'm not dying to return. Next time, I'll go for a salad and skip the sandwich. read more

I waited in line for 20 minutes then waited 20 minutes for the food. Extremely sub par. Look how soggy the fries are? I ordered the tri tip sandwich.. there was a choice of hot bbq sauce, sweet bbq, or mustard bbq. I chose mustard and it's literally just straight yellow mustard on it, there is nothing bbq about it. Do not reccomend --- not worth the hype or the price. We wish we had went to Wendy's lol read more

Cubby's! I am so grateful to have tried this place. Really enjoyed my tri-tip steak sandwich (el caliente style), and bleu cheese buffalo fries. The line was crazy long during lunch time but that's as expected. I would recommend ownership to invest in a larger waiting area so not everyone waiting on their order is just standing there shoulder to shoulder or at least giving them a buzzer and when it buzzes have them come and get their food. Great place for a quick meal made with local and organic ingredients. I tried three things and surprisingly liked all of them so I'll definitely be back to try more. WILD RICE & KALE SALAD ($9.29) : Great combo of flavors especially with the fresh lime juice and balsamic lemon cilantro vinaigrette dressing. The salad had a lot of things in it which gave it a nice texture and complexity from the wild rice, shredded kale, almonds, avocado, apples, dried cranberries, chicken, and cheese. MACARONI & CHEESE (medium $4) : Super thick and cheesy from the melted cheddar and gouda. The best part was the homemade bread crumb topping which almost tasted like bacon bits to me. BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP (medium $4) : They had a choice of 3 soups of the day and I couldn't pick so I asked for a sample. Lehi Cubby's...you are beginning to disappoint me! This location is kind of the worst. First of all, I feel claustrophobic when I'm standing in line to order my food behind that huge wall. Second, the last time I came in with a group of girlfriends we waited almost 50 minutes for our food and it wasn't the usual delicious Cubby's I know and love! Sweet potato fries were burnt and my order was wrong but it had taken so long at that point I didn't want to say anything. Third, everyone should just plan on waiting till spring/summer to come here and eat because with the two giant doors in the middle of the restaurant it is FREEZING! Fourth, the signs on the bathroom doors make it very confusing to know where to go. And they were dirty and gross :( I still love you Cubby's but I think I will just stick to the other locations from now on! read more

We ordered this to go at 10:37am, as we needed it to go for teacher appreciation back at the school by 11:30am....Don't come between 11:00-11:30. It's the time breakfast and lunch is changed. Half the staff stands around, the other staff is rude. This is the second time they've made me late and I'm tired of it. My sister came from out of town with her 3 year old and we waited (the last time) 40 mins for food. Here I am, 15 mins in... waiting for food to go! Up your game, there's competition all of the point of the mountain. Got my food at 11:20! Apparently, the cows are slaughtered in the back. This locations quality has gone since my previous review. We went last night because my 4 year old wanted "the good Mac and cheese". There were 6 of us and we all shared food and ate the same stuff...except for my 4 year old who was the only one who ate the Mac and cheese(2 year old refused).. he's thrown up 5 times since last night starting at 3am and it was just the Mac and cheese and liquids. It had to have been the Mac and cheese and he's the only one who got sick from it last night. Definitely a bummer because we used to love this place. TLDR: 4 year old got sick from the Mac n cheese and was the only one in our group who had it. read more
