This place is great for storage. A large building worth of units are climate controlled, but they have lots of outdoor lockers and parking spaces too. Prices are competitive, and the indoor units are tiered based on the ground floor. The more convenient, the more spendy. So if you don't mind using the elevators, you can save some money. Lots of sizes from 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, even 10x15. The guys that work here are awesome. Friendly accommodating, and available (even after hours) if you have problems. The gate needs a password, as does the door, and the elevator if you have access (which you only have access to a floor if you have a locker there). It's also under 24 hour video surveillance, so your stuff is safer here than anywhere short of a bank. The place is clean, with bug traps to catch critters. They have a fleet of dollies for moving things, as well as a loading dock and garage doors. I can't describe all the great things they've done for me here, but it's been the best storage facility I've used. read more

Facility is clean for the most party however management lacks customer service skills and professionalism . Spoke with Evan at the facility made excuses was very rude and threatened me .The lady who works there is nice and knowledgeable but the guy Evan is very very nasty person very snappy and jepy telling me I have other things to do even asked me to wait for him to help other customer waited to call someone else's to write contract then made a mistake a blew up on me and told me to leave he doesn't know . read more

This facility is clean most likely because it is relatively new. I could not recommend this facility to anybody's seeking self-storage based on the management and the management alone. I unfortunately had the opportunity requiring the store managers assistance for the Annapolis location I found him arrogant, unprofessional and completely non customer service oriented. On one occasion I contacted CubeSmart via the corporate website, who told me to contact the local store manager, who told me I had to get a hold of corporate. I explained that he referred me to him, he seem to want to do absolutely nothing to help and ultimately after contacting corporate again, and then him again, I had to send an email. If this is what it takes to get a request and question answered via the store manager can you imagine what it would take if there was a real problem with the storage? read more

I would not recommend using this facility to store upholstered furniture or anything else that mice can destroy. I stored the entire contents of my home there from May to October 2018. When I moved out there were mouse droppings all over everything I owned and the mice had chewed through my upholstered headboard. (There was also a dead mouse in the corner and a surprise live one hiding behind a mattress) When you sign a lease here you are solely responsible for any damages except for a few things that are covered under their third party insurance company such as damages from earthquakes, aircraft, or a sonic boom. You are not covered for realistic damages such as those from flooding or PESTS. So I am taking a $400 hit to replace my entire upholstered bed frame. I should count my blessings though since the mice did not chew through my rugs, couches, or other upholstered furniture. Other small annoyances I had to deal with during my stay include: - they accidentally terminated my lease in September and I had to speak with multiple people to clear it up as well as physically go there to re-sign a lease (to their credit, they were very polite about it), - there was no motion sensor to keep the lights on near my unit so every 5 minutes or so I had to walk all the way down the hall and wave at the motion sensor to turn the lights back on, - the back loading door (closest to the unit I rented) does not stay open for longer than a couple of minutes, which is not ideal for loading/unloading. If you still decide to rent a unit here for some reason, do not elect to bump up your insurance coverage if your storage items total over $5000. Since it only covers highly unlikely damages, it's a total waste of money. It does cover forced entry if you use their special disc lock, but given the good security at this location I still think it's a waste of money. read more

Zero stars. I stored my things for one year. I returned today to load up a 16' box truck and could not maneuver the vehicle because there was not enough clearance to do so. They allow trailer storage in tbetween each of the storage buildings and the resulting space only allows cars to pass through. Another customer arrived and couldn't access his space because they refused to open another gate for him. I had to move my big truck mid-loading in a narrow space to allow him to pass by me. Not convenient or easy at all. If you're unloading things from a small car, maybe it would be fine. read more

Not sure everyone is aware, but a business owner can remove unwanted reviews from being seen (which makes Yelp useless as far as I'm concerned). Last week I posted a review of what a ripoff Cubesmart is because they lure people in with low rates and then continuously raise them astronomically. After I posted my review I received a response from Tom informing me that the contract price isn't in effect for the life of the contract and they raise your rent to maintain there properties. Although, here are the facts, after only seven months they raised my rent 7.69%, then a year later another 7.14%, then in seven months a whopping 17.77%, and now a year later and my rent has increased another 13.67%. In only 38 months my rent has increased over 54% and I'm paying over $100 more than someone signing a contract today. Keep in mind that typically residential properties raise rent by only 3% unless there's a large swing in demand and home prices etc. Unless you're planning on staying there for only a year STAY AWAY! Let's see how long it take them to remove this post... read more

Very Impressed. I use to be a customer at this same location 10 years ago. It was in need of some serious help. I heard it was under new ownership, so, I stopped by to ask and take a look. WOW. New roof, New paint job, New and More exterior lighting, Newly paved parking lot and the Security gate even works. Unlike the Public Storage facility security gate at which I had been renting for 10 years now Was always broken and OPEN. So much for Security. The Price IS INCREDIBLE...!!!!!! Why would ANYONE Want to rent from Public Storage anyway??? They raise EVERY year by 12% or more. NO discount for Loyalty or being an on time renter. They even raised their price twice this year 2015 alone. Annapolis Self Storage was Almost Half the rental cost of Public Storage. It was a NO BRAINER. Happy to say I am now a New tenant at Annapolis Self Storage. Eric and Amanda are Very Professional and easy to work with. Amanda showed me several units, then put one on hold for me till I made up my mind. Eric is also the on site manager. Can't get any better than that.
