The team had a positive attitude and greeted me with a handshake and a friendly smile first thing this morning. They all went above and beyond to make sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged, and they treated all of my home, furniture, and belongings with respect. Not to mention, I asked if they would drop of my mattress at my new place down the street from my storage unit (an added extra stop) and they said they would! After the final stop, they closed me out and everything was done in 2 HOURS!! I was shocked. During a slow hour with no line, I'm in and out of the store within one minute. However, on any given afternoon, the line wraps around the entire room due to inefficient servicing. UPS management, if you're reading this, I'm begging you -- save one spot at the counter for drop-offs only. You all probably know by now that the bottleneck in wait time is due to the customers that require more extensive shipping services (i.e. packing, creating a shipping label), which leaves many of us waiting for 5-10 minutes just to hand you a package fully ready to be shipped out.

I interviewed about 6 moving companies and right away from talking with Abner I felt comfortable. Other moving companies were very persistent, trying to sell me, and seemed dishonest. Abner was very responsive and straight forward but did not contact me again after initial quote until I decided to go with him. He garunteed pick up date and arrival date (and time and was 10 minutes early each time!) which was huge for us as our move had to be very scheduled and other companies quoted us a 2 week interval (or more!) of when our items would be delivered. His crew in Houston arrived and packed our entire apartment, included disassembling basic items. They were extremely professional and efficient. Every item even valuable and breakable items arrived in perfect condition. He met us in San Fransisco 5 days later and him and two others unloaded all our boxes and assembled any dissassembled items. Again very professional and efficient. Iron back movers turned what could have been a very stressful move into 0 stress. Abner was extremely hardworking, professional, and easy to work with as was every member of his team. We hope we can use him for any future moves even though we are no longer in Houston!

We scheduled the moving date, signed a contract, and were ready to go! On moving day, the movers arrived promptly and they were so quick in moving everything! within two hours everything had been moved out of our townhome! It took them another hour and a half to move everything to the new place. Very impressed! They also wrapped certain pieces of furniture for us and disassembled as well as assembled others. Cost was reasonable as well. I would say they are more cost efficient compared to other movers we had inquired. Overall we had a good experience with iron/back movers and would use them again for our next move!

I do not recommend Graceful Movers…read more This was by far the longest and most frustrating move I've ever experienced. I came fully prepared. Everything was already packed and most items were disassembled, with the exception of one bed and an entertainment center. All belongings were staged in one easily accessible area, ready to be loaded. My new home is only 11 minutes away, yet it took a team of three movers over 5 hours, nearly 6, to complete the move. To put that into perspective, I've used movers before with fewer people and a much longer drive of about 45 minutes, and they still completed the entire move in under 3 hours. There was nothing efficient or "graceful" about this experience. The excessive amount of time it took is completely unacceptable, especially given how prepared everything was. To make matters worse, I still have to reassemble my furniture myself. At the pace they were moving, I can only imagine how much longer it would have taken if they had done it. Overall, I feel taken advantage of and would not use or recommend this company.
