First off, I can not remember the last time I wrote a review so I hope this is the place. I love to extend my gratitude in person to the staff when I go out with my family . My Husband and girls went out tonight 8/21 after a long day out east and I never had such great service than I had by Alexis. Living out east on Long Island my whole life comes with a lot of fine dining experience, and I was incredibly impressed to say the least! This young lady was so sweet and on top of absolutely everything, we did not have to wait for a thing and Drinks were filled without an ask .My girls talked with her alot throughout our dinner and she came off so humble and genuine. The restaurant was not very busy at all as it was a little late for dinner time but the food came out amazing as well. Everything from our appetizers, small side Salads, and dinners were so great. The decor inside was interesting to look at as well. Alot of yankees inspired decor which our family loved! As a company- we've ordered from this place a couple of times. The pizza, everything we ordered was always so good, and the delivery time was also on point. Came in tonight for the first time and I have to say, I've been to Italian places all around this area, and the service, food, everything was so nice and so good!!! No, I don't know the owner or anyone that works here for the record... a really nice quaint pleasant place to have a good meal, reasonably priced with outstanding service. The pizza is delicious but every time I've eaten it - cheese, eggplant parm, bbq chicken, veggie - I always get "stomach" problems. Pizza never makes me sick so... don't kn what to tell you. Strongly recommend this place if you are visiting the aquarium / having a family meal. Today was our 2nd time, and we visited with a 2 year old toddler, after an aquarium visit. Very accommodating and delicious food came out quickly. My wife and I just had the best dinner at Cucina 25 in Riverhead. This was the first time we've gone here and we absolutely will be going back. Tonight happened to be pasta night which we were really happy about (pasta night menus posted below). They put bread out for the table which was italian bread and garlic knots. I love garlic knots and these were some of the best I've had, not greasy, just perfect. We both ordered a salad as part of pasta night, I had a house salad with the house dressing, I thought the dressing was a little bland, and my wife had the ceased salad which she said was very refreshing. We tried the mini rice balls to start (not part of pasta night) and OMG, amazing. I'm not a fan of cream sauces but the pink sauce that came with the rice balls was incredible. My wife ordered tortellini alla vodka and she raved about it the entire time and said she found her new favorite vodka sauce. I had angel hair di casa which has chicken, artichokes, and roasted red peppers in a lemon sauce, beyond delicious. The portions were huge and we both ended up taking more than half home and we can't wait to eat it for lunch tomorrow. We were able to pick a choice of dessert as part of the deal and I picked cannolis and my wife chose cheesecake, we had to get them to go because we were too full but we will be enjoying them as a late night snack a little later. read more

Went to dinner on vacation and did not disappoint. The chicken parmigiana and garlic knots were some of the best we ever had. The pasta fagioli was a bit too spicy however, our waitress was really nice and took it back. Overall it was a positive experience and will be back when we go back out to Riverhead. read more

I am in awe at the positive reviews of this place so we must have gone on a bad day. We received our calamari and our mozzarella and tomato for our appetizer and it was awful. The mozzarella was so stale you couldn't cut it with your fork and it was chewy and the calamari was like chewing on bicycle tires. You know it's bad because there were four of us there that all just looked at eachother and collectively agreed to leave. All of us just thought it was awful and none of us have ever gotten up and left a restaurant before. However, our waitress was very sweet and we tipped her well before leaving. Might have to give it another try but I don't see that happening anytime soon. read more

My partner Justin and I recently moved to Baiting Hollow from Deer Park where good Italian restaurants are so close in proximity. I was hesitant that we would find a good Italian restaurant and tried a few by the new house and were ok UNTIL we found Cucina 25!!!!! Chicken parm and pizza was so good but my favorite and why this restaurant is now dear to my heart is their stuffed shells taste like my nanna used to make in Sicily!!!! Every bite has your mouth watering and when you taste the shell it always tastes fresh which is huge to an Italiano! Staff is great and the owner is such a nice guy! I love their food so much that I had them cater two parties for us and the portions are huge and well worth the money!!!! I'm hooked and love this place so much! read more

The pizza was delicious. But the wings -- THE WINGS -- were among the best I've ever had without a doubt. We weren't expecting that, they were tacked onto the order the way wings typically are. But these became the star of the show, so much so we called back to ask what the heck they do to make them so tasty. The answer? Blue cheese, mixed directly in the Buffalo sauce. i have eaten there twice now for their pasta night on Monday's when i visit my Mother who lives in Riverhead. Their $14.95 Pasta night special is HARD to beat. It includes a soup or salad, bread and a choice of pasta or lasagna, ziti, etc. It also include a dessert choice of either a Canolli, cheese cake, ice cream or a sorbet, as well as coffee or tea. Ashley is their server, and she is very attentive, (although some times spread a little thin, as she is really the only server in the dinning room). The food is delicious. I have traveled extensively around the world on business travel and have eaten at some truly five star restaurants. Which is why I cave them a four star rating. In my humble opinion, in the world of Riverhead : I would give this place a five star rating. read more

This place doesn't skip a beat! They are always on point. They have an extensive selection of options in all of their categories. My personal favorite is their Greek Salad pizza which is a work of art and tastes so amazing! They very finely chop all of the ingredients which just makes the experience absolute perfection. I'm picky about how I like my salad and after tasting theirs I realized they are too! (Takes one to know one) No direction needed, they share in the same obsession of chopping the ingredients properly. The salty feta cheese is complemented by the sweet tomatoes and savory crust.. omg ! Just delightful... Very friendly service and fastest delivery in town. They always deliver way before the projected time which is such a nice surprise. Food is always hot and delicious. The owners care about their business and it shows in their work. Went again with a group and must say Ashley is a super wait serve person. The food is good, our group was completely satisfied with what they ordered. However, serving too much pasta. Texas size rather than traditional Italian size. Yes I took the leftover home, but it was enough for three people. I can't believe how much, I'd rather a third of the amount of pasta and more spinach in my Florentine. I ordered angel hair pasta for health reasons and thought I got at least a half pound of it. Chicken was tender, but so very little spinach. Couldn't even think of dessert. They do serve salad first. Overall a great place to bring teenagers and very hungry adults. read more

Was in Riverhead for a week long business trip. Ordered food twice for delivery. Delivery was quick and efficient. The delivery person was very nice and respectful. The portions are large for the price. The food, however, was lacking. They should pay more attention to quality control. For example, I ordered a calzone. The calzone was under-baked, and as a result, the dough was raw in some spots. The calzone was large, enough for 2, and a bargain at the price point. However, half of it was inedible due to the raw dough and was discarded. It would he been good if baked properly. The meatballs were bland and had so much bread or breadcrumbs worked into the meat that you could not taste the meat. The spaghetti was overcooked and nowhere near al dente. The tomato sauce is typical pizzeria sauce and is nothing special. read more

Let me just tell you how great these guys are!!!! First off the food was delicious. I picked up a meatball parm and linguini with clam sauce. The clam sauce leaked onto the meatball parm, and my employee was allergic to seafood. I called them up and explained to them what happened. The guy I spoke with on the phone said he will DELIVER the meatball parm to us!!! Totally unexpected and so sweet! This place is small and quaint. I came here 3 times to be able to write a fair review. The food is ok. I had the lobster ravioli one visit and I wasn't impressed. There was no indication that there was lobster or any type of seafood in this dish. Tasted like a bland ravioli in a pink creamy sauce. I attempted the fried calamari twice. Both times it was super bland and no flavor what so ever. I also ordered the penne ala vodka. This dish was pretty decent. But didn't win me over. The salads tasted as if they were sitting in a fridge for days. The pizza is way better than the meals. And I only tried this place so many times because this was the closest lunch place for where my job was located for that time. read more
